FLASH INSTANT SHINE MASK
amika: - Flash Instant Shine Mask Product Claim: Moisture and shine in one minute Key Ingredients: Hydrolyzed flaxseed, red wine extract, amino acid complex Hair Type: dry & wavy Texture: Watery Price: $25 My Experience: This mask is very unique in my opinion. The texture is very light and watery. I use this mask after shampoo and conditioner and leave it on for a minute before I wash it off. I was initially skeptical to the idea of shiny hair with a minute mask?! However, that is actually true! After I air dried my hair, my hair was luscious, shiny and hydrated. Also the unique Amika scent is AMAZING. I need to get the amika shampoo just because of its scent. I wash my hair once a week and this mask is definitely in my hair care routine. Would I recommend?! YES! It's an effective product and loving the shine!

Briogeo Don’t Despair Deep Conditioning Mask
Briogeo - Don't Despair, Repair! Deep Conditioning Hair Mask The holy grail hair product in my haircare collection that SAVED dry, damaged hair and made it soft, shiny and hydrated again!! 🙌🏻💓✨ My hair type: dry, frizzy, wavy/curly About this product: Texture: thiccc and creamy!! swipe for a close up of the texture 🤤 ☁️ 🤤 My experience: I use a lot of heat tools on my hair on a regular basis and so my hair has been through a lot and it’s been dried out and damaged. I’ve always tried out tons of different deep conditioners and hair masks to help offset some of the damage from the heat and they’ve all been okay, but once I introduced this deep conditioning mask, I’ve never gone back to anything else!! I’m currently on my 4th tub right now and will keep on repurchasing because ever since I started consistently using this hair mask, I noticed my hair was feeling softer, the frizzies were tamed, and my hair just generally looked and felt a lot smoother and silkier. It increased the hydration in my hair and it helped my wavy/curly hair get back to a state where it noticeably looked and felt a lot healthier. Would I recommend: yes I absolutely would! If your hair is dry, damaged, you use a lot of heat tools, or your hair just needs a little oomph to get it shinier and silkier, then you need to introduce this into your haircare routine! Everyone I have personally introduced this to has really enjoyed it and came back to tell me they noticed a difference with their hair!! 🙌🏻 Is it worth it: 100%!! The tub is a really good size and you don’t need a lot so it’s definitely worth purchasing! It also comes in a kit and for a couple extra dollars you could get it in a value/gift set that comes with 3 extra mini travel sizes of their other great products so it’s absolutely worth checking out!

My post-workout wavy hair routine 🌊
My hair is naturally pretty wavy, a bit frizzy and my scalp tends to get pretty dry during summer! I make it a point not to wash it more than just a few days a week which has been hard ever since I started working out regularly again and sweating SO much (I blame Chloe Ting 😅) but I still don’t like to wash my hair every day or else my scalp is just itchy and flaky and awful. What I’ve been doing to refresh my scalp and revive my waves is immediately go in with a powder (important!) dry shampoo like the Briogeo - Scalp Revival Charcoal + Biotin Dry Shampoo to soothe my scalp and also soak the sweat, then spraying the lengths of my hair with water and applying some amika: - Curl Corps Enhancing Gel it works great in my opinion! This routine brings my wavy hair back to life and makes it look less stringy and gross, the dry shampoo also adds some volume which I love! This routine’s been working great for me and allows me to go an extra day between hair washing ☺️

Perfect wavy/curly hair routine!🎉
This routine is what I use when I want my most bouncy curls to come out! This whole routine is protein/moisture balanced so you don’t need to worry about going into hydrofatigue or protein overload. I start out with my Giovanni triple treat shampoo and conditioner. This shampoo is quite clarifying so if I want something lighter I use live clean hydrating shampoo. This conditioner is so lightweight and will not over moisturize your hair. *you can add a leave in before this routine but if my hair is feeling silky after the conditioner I just use ag recoil because it is a cream based formula. 1. AG hair - Curl Re:Coil Curl Activator This is such an amazing product with a good shot of protein to tighten up your curls. Make sure you use a very small amount because it is easy to over use. Rub it between your hands until it gets to a milky texture. I usually apply this in the shower with my head flipped upside down. You can either brush it through then scrunch or just use praying hands and simply just scrunch it in. After this I put on a shower cap and “wet plop” while I get out of the shower and get dressed to preserve the moisture in my hair. 2. Uncle Funky's Daughter - Curly Magic Curl Stimulator I apply one pump of this to my hair while flipping side to side and scrunching it in. This product requires your hair to be soaking wet so make sure you have a spray bottle near by. 3. aussie - Instant Freeze Hair with Jojoba Oil & Sea Kelp Gel This product is a dupe for aussie instant freeze but you can’t get it in Canada so I just use this one. If your hair doesn’t like a lot of product you can only use one of the two gels – whichever one you have in your country). This product could be the perfect gel. No protein but a strong hold and will keep your curls in shape for days. I just scrunch this in the same way I previously did. Making sure I get all sides and the back. 4. cake - The Curl Whip Whipped Curl Mousse At the point I will most likely have plopped my hair in a tshirt for 30 ish minutes. After I scrunch all the water out with my t shirt or microfiber towel I will apply this mousse. This smells amazing and is the perfect creamy texture. It will look like you are using a lot of this product but I promise it is hard to over do it. 5. Last steps: Now I will diffuse my hair till about 60% dry then let it air dry till it’s 100% dry. It is very imporartant that you don’t scrunch out the crunch until your hair is fully dry. I sometimes sleep in a satin scarf while my hair fully dries over night. I will either use the scarf or a bit of oil to scrunch out the crunch in the morning. And now you will have curls that will last your days (I’ve made this last 7 days – don’t judge)!

Hair mask - Cougar Beauty (UK brand)
The what: This is the Intense Aftercare Keratin Hair Mask from Cougar Beauty. It is available through the brand’s website (UK brand). The details: This hair mask contains keratin amino acids, ceramide R, and wheat protein. This mask aims to strengthen and smooth your hair in-shower, while locking in moisture and helping to stop frizz in its tracks. The directions aren’t on the mask itself; however, per the brand’s website, the mask should be applied to cleansed hair and left on for 5-10 minutes before rinsing. This product is silicone and sulfate-free. My thoughts: I really like this hair mask! I have thick, frizzy, wavy/curly natural texture, and a heck of a lot of hair. I don’t need a lot of product, surprisingly, compared to some other deep conditioning masks. This mask sort of smells (to me) like baby powder mixed with a bit of perfume, which isn’t my personal favorite, but I can live with it for the intense hydration this gives. It has a thick texture that’s easy to spread.I like to use this 1x/week. I apply to freshly cleansed hair and then wait about 10 minutes. During that time I usually wash my body, exfoliate, and shave to pass the time. I rinse and go about the rest of my hair routine, skipping my usual leave-in conditioner because this mask hydrates well. I have noticed my hair appears smoother and is less frizzy. This tub is going to last me a really long time! I would repurchase this item. The price: Approx. $46USD with current conversion rate. Mine came in a subscription box. 4.5/5 ⭐️

Wavy hair products
Ok so I recently started using a new shampoo and conditioner. I try to stay within the Shea Moisture brand and sometimes I’ll venture out into Cantu or something similar. I’ve had this shampoo and conditioner set for about 3 weeks now and holy crap! It’s like I have a new head of hair. I used to always use products that contained some sort of coconut product whether it be Cantu products or others and since I’ve moved away from that I’ve seen a HUGE difference. I’ve seen posts from a lot of other girls saying coconut in their hair products has really dampened their curl texture and I thought maybe I had the same problem and honestly, I think I was right! The more I moved away from coconut, the curlier my hair has gotten. Anyway, on to the products! The Shea Moisture Power Greens is a great combo. It’s got essential nutrients and moisturizes my hair extremely well. My only problem is, the shampoo is VERY watery. I guess the plus side to that is it makes me control how much shampoo I’m putting into my hand so, I’m not too mad about it. The conditioner though is perfect! Both have a very light scent, I don’t think it’s super over bearing at all but then again I’ve been using super strong scented coconut products so I may just not be able to smell it all that well (haha) The Shea Moisture Hair Milk is one of the best leave in conditioners I’ve ever used. It doesn’t leave my hair super greasy and weighed down and having wavy hair, that’s important to avoid! And last but not least, As I Am Curling Jelly. I love love LOVE this hair gel. It’s very liquidy and thin so it keeps a good hold without casting my hair into a rock. It’s by far the best hair gel I’ve tried and I hope I never find the day where I can’t buy it anymore. My Hair Routine!! Shampoo using only a quarter size amount Condition with my hair flipped over and scrunch my hair with conditioner until my hair clumps. I use about 5-6 pumps of conditioner to fully condition my hair and it forms clumps I rinse the conditioner out of my hair still flipped over and I just scrunch and squeeze until it feels like I got what I want out after that DONT FLIP YOUR HAIR UP YET While I’m still in the shower I scrunch my hair out until my hair isn’t sopping wet, BUT it is still very wet I then scrunch in my hair milk. I use about a nickel size of this then finally I take small globs of hair gel and scrunch it into my hair until it starts forming good clumps and everywhere has a good layer of gel to form a good cast after I get all my product in I plop my hair in a hair towel for anywhere from 20-45 minutes depending on how much time I have once I take the towel out, I gently scrunch my hair with the towel to make sure my hair isn’t still dripping wet (my hair holds A LOT of water and I really need to squeeze it out sometimes) after that I let everything air dry and then break the cast once it’s completely dry!
