Tea tree products for pores
I really want to love Sunday Riley, BUT...💔
I have combination-oily, acne-prone skin, and acne marks. I came across a YouTuber who was introducing Sunday Riley, and after some research and recommendations by a Sephora beauty advisor, I bought these three products. SUNDAY RILEY - Luna Sleeping Night Oil- US$85 Retinol, chia seed oil, and chamomile can effectively reduce the appearance of wrinkles, skin redness, pores, and dark spots. It also does a good job at exfoliating, reducing acne breakouts, and brightening skin. It has a herbal and oil smell, a mystery blue color, and an oily texture. However, your face will feel a bit oily after applying it and it doesn't absorb easily. SUNDAY RILEY - U.F.O. Ultra-Clarifying Face Oil- US$80 Containing 1.5% salicylic acid, tea tree oil, and black cumin seed oil, this face oil clears clogged pores, prevents breakouts, and reduces fine wrinkles, leaving your skin smooth and brightening your skin complexion. It has a light green, oil-like texture with a strong smell of sesame oil. I don't like it at all as it leaves your skin oily. As it contains other acid ingredients, you have to keep your skin hydrated and wear a sunscreen after using it. SUNDAY RILEY - Good Genes All in One Lactic Acid Treatment- US$85 With 40% lactic acid, licorice, lemongrass, and cactus extract, it effectively reduces fine wrinkles, clears clogged pores, and lightens dark spots. It also brightens your skin complexion, leaves your skin smooth, and reduces acne and acne marks. It has a slightly sour chemical smell which is incredibly bad. It also causes irritation when applied, so you can only use it in the evening and you have to wear sunscreen the next day. I really don't like the smell and feeling of these three products. I also didn't experience any amazing results as advertised, or maybe I just didn't use them long enough to see results.

Pore Control Toner
I have been on the market for awhile now looking for a new toner to incorporate into my skincare routine, so I was genuinely excited when Saturday Skin gifted me their NEW Pore Clarifying Toner! Made up of 10% glycolic acid to help keep your skin clear, Saturday Skin also formulated their own pore control complex that includes ingredients such as witch hazel, tea tree oil and red clover. These ingredients target pore concerns such as enlarged, clogged pores. After applying this toner, you’ll be left with smooth, refined, balanced skin. This toner is suitable for all skin types and Saturday Skin takes pride in being a clean brand - no parabens, sulfates, synthetic fragrances or synthetic color. I love applying this toner using cotton squares; I ensure that there is a generous amount of product without completely saturating the cotton square, and then I pass it all over my skin. I then use my clean hands to press the toner into my skin, ensuring all those wonderful ingredients seep into my skin. I also enjoy this product chilled so I store mine in my skincare fridge - the cooling sensation is refreshing! I’ve been enjoying this product so much that I want to try more from the brand! Retailing at $30, you can find this toner at Sephora under their Clean at Sephora category.

Tea tree product review.
PAUL MITCHELL - Tea Tree Special Shampoo PAUL MITCHELL - Tea Tree Special Conditioner So first I’ll start with smell. I think it smells amazing. I also love mint, so I don’t think it’s super overwhelming. This shampoo does exactly what it is suppose to do. Cleanse your hair. My hair feels super clean after using. Which I have thick color treated hair, so the buildup is real. If you have any type of buildup this product is for you. I’m happy I decided to try it. * Only down fall like any other cleansing shampoo/conditioner it can be drying! I put a little extra leave in conditioner or oil to my ends after using! * Also I believe this product helped any body acne I had. Because of the tea tree. I noticed after I started using it that I no longer have any of the few stubborn pimples on my back/chest. * 4 stars because of the dryness experienced. *

Tea Tree Water Collection #CherieParter 🍃
Hey y’all! So I love Korean skin care and their products are usually hits for me! Within the last 4weeks I’ve been using Some by Mi Tea Tree water products. And I have thoughts! To start I have sensitive combo skin and some of the problems I’ve been facing as of late are random breakouts. I’ve been moving and been under a lot of stress so I’ve been looking for some products to help combat. I first heard about Some by Mi on Soko Glam. Soko Glam is my fav skin care plug lol! They have such a wide variety of products. So first we have the SOME BY MI - AHA BHA PHA 30 Days Miracle Toner This product has the same consistency as most toners. It’s pretty watery. It also smells amazing! It’s like a mix of tea tree and peppermint but it’s very light and not overpowering at all. Ingredients list 🍃AHA 🍃BHA 🍃PHA These three chemical exfoliants help with smoothing out skin. These are the exfoliants I usually look for when going for a multi use toner. 🍃Tea Tree Water: Tea tree water is great for promoting clear skin by keeping acne at bay and also helps soothe already inflamed skin. 🍃Niacinamide:Targets wrinkle and dull skin 🍃Papaya Extracts 🍃Witch Hazel Extracts Both Extracts keep skin smooth and healthy! This toner is marketed towards sensitive skin because of the pH balance. And I would agree. My skin does not feel bothered or hasn’t had any bad reactions. It definitely is nice and moisturizing and helped control my breakouts 10/10 would recommend Next we have SOME BY MI - AHA-BHA-PHA 30 Days Miracle Serum This serum is a watery consistency for it to be a serum. It’s very important to shake this serum as it does have oils in it and tends to separate. It has the same scent as the toner so that’s nice! Key Ingredient List: 🍃AHA/BHA/PHA :Gentle Exfoliants 🍃Centella 14.5%: Centella is so good for inflammation! It’s great that this serum had such a high concentration of it because it definitely aided with all of my random breakouts. 🍃Multi layer of plant based oils to lock in moisture (Olive Fruit, Moringa Seed, Grapefruit, Orange...) Using this in combination with the toner has really done a good job targeting the breakouts. I use this after toner and before moisturizer. 10/10 would recommend Overall this collection is great for sensitive skin who’s having trouble with breakouts and inflammation. The ingredients are good for your skin and help promote moisture, brightening and pore care. Have you ever tried anything with Tea Tree water? Let me know Below ! BESOS 😘

About oil cleansing
The one in the picture is a travel size one!!! I prefer getting smaller ones to see whether or not I would repurchase the bigger version. How it cleanses: - lift excess sebum, the oily substance produced by glands on your skin -clean out clogged pores like blackheads and whiteheads -remove dead skin, pollutants, and makeup How to add it to your routine: be mindful that this can be your only cleanser or you can double cleanse. Using oil as your only cleanser: 1.Apply the oil to your dry face. Use your fingertips to gently massage the oil into the skin for a minute or two to remove impurities like makeup and dead skin cells, and let it penetrate the skin. 2.Use a damp, warm washcloth to gently wipe away the oil. Be careful not to press too hard or scrub at your skin, as this can irritate the skin and cause breakouts. A smooth, soft washcloth is best. You can also rinse with warm water. 3. Pat dry with a towel and apply moisturizer if you feel you need it. As a double cleanser: Follow the same steps above just make sure you follow up with a cleanser that best suits your skin. How often should you oil cleanse: it is recommend once everyday but since my skin can get irritated super easily I do it every other day. Overall, my thoughts on oil cleansing is that my skin feels free and super clean after double cleansing my pores feel super free and it works amazing for me. If you want to know more about oil cleansing I recommend watching golden rx on YouTube and she has a video dedicated to oil cleansing.

TEA TREE OIL FOR ACNE
I have a STRONG love for tea tree oil. If you suffer from acne, I’d strongly suggest trying it out! Price: $10 ( at Walmart or order off Amazon) * other brands may sell for cheaper BENEFITS - helps fight oily skin - has antibacterial properties - has anti-inflammatory properties - helps to get rid of active breakouts - may help reduce risk/severity of scars *disclaimer: has a strong smell (not a bad one, just strong) and is a strong oil in general, so it is important never to use too much. HOW TO USE IT - as a toner: Facial spray: Grab an empty spray bottle and fill with witch hazel, then pour a few drops (2-4) into bottle, close then shake. Can spray onto face morning and night Cotton round method: Grab a cotton round and pour witch hazel onto it and a few drops of tea tree oil (2-3). Apply morning and night *both methods help freshen face and help combat active breakouts. Second method helps get rid of leftover makeup and impurities not washed away from typical use of a daily cleanser. (2nd method is my favorite) - mix into face masks/exfoliators: Aztec healing clay: mix usual amount of clay with apple cider vinegar and add a few drops of tea tree oil (2-3) then mix. Apply to face and wash off after 15-20 min (varying depending on skin type.) Use mask 1-2 times a week. (Can be very strong so don’t use too often) sugar scrub: Mix 2 parts sugar and 1 part honey. (Depending on preferred texture of scrub, add more sugar or honey) I like my scrub to be more dry and less like liquid, so I always have way more sugar than honey. Add around 2-4 drops of tea tree oil and mix all together. Apply to face and gently scrub, then wash off. Use scrub 1-3 times a week. (Over-exfoliating is an issue and can mess up your skin!) so don’t use too often. * can mix into many diy face masks or scrubs, just don’t use it in excess because it is VERY STRONG. - As a spot treatment: With active acne breakouts, tea tree oil can be applied topically as a spot treatment. Can be applied with finger or cotton swab. Typically applied at night and left on overnight. **from personal experience: I’ve noticed it helps cyst and cyst-like breakouts reduce in size, sometimes doing so overnight. Depending how stubborn the breakout is, it may take multiple applications to get rid of. It has helped swelling decrease dramatically on larger cyst-like breakouts (that are typically under the skin). As for whiteheads and surface level breakouts, I would be a bit more careful in applying the oil directly onto the skin! Tea tree oil has a tendency to be extremely strong and can actually make the breakout much darker in color. So apply less tea tree oil on whiteheads and dab any excess off. Out of safety, you can always dilute the tea tree oil (as many people do) and mix it with something likewitch hazel. - applying directly onto skin around the breakout can dry it out, so try to stay directly on the breakout! *Has REALLY helped my acne, 10/10 recommend
