Knours. is a Korean skincare brand, and their name is short for “Kno ur skin, period.” They make clean skincare specifically for women’s hormonal cycles, and my skin has been loving their products! I especially enjoy the Double Duty Mist and Skin Meditation gel cream, which have helped tremendously with my redness. The Double Duty mist has two layers: the bottom has soothing botanicals and should be used when your skin is sensitive and red, and the top contains soothing oils that, when shaken, combine with the botanicals to form a deeply moisturizing mist for when your skin is feeling dry. I normally think of mists as an extra step that aren’t really necessary, but I LOVE using this one before I apply my moisturizer/oil because it helps it glide on so much smoother. I’ve gone through one full size of this, plus a sample, and I’m going through another sample size right now. I would recommend this to honestly anyone who’s looking for a mist that can serve two purposes. It’s a little pricey, at $34 for 110ml, but you can get a 30ml sample for $8. Overall, this gets ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ from me. Knours. - Double Duty Mist The Skin Meditation gel cream is incredibly soothing. I love the light gel texture—I mix it with a few drops of oil in the morning, and I use it to buffer my tretinoin at night. Overall, it keeps my skin calm and moisturized, even in the harsh winters where I live. I’ve gone through a full size of this, and it lasted me almost three months. I’m currently using a sample size, and I plan to repurchase once it’s empty. I would recommend this to anyone who suffers from hormonal acne and redness, especially if you like Korean skincare. The only drawback is that it has peppermint oil, so those who are sensitive to essential oils should take note. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Knours. - SKIN MEDITATION GEL CREAM

Great for redness
The Mario badescu facial spray with herbs and rose water is a hydrating facial spray for all skin types that contains soothing rose water. It targets dryness and dehydration and can be used to refresh your face anytime during the day or after cleaning. It has a watery consistency and smells like roses. Overall, I really enjoyed this facial spray because it is very refreshing. I bought it after seeing it everywhere recently due to the “Vsco girl” trend. I like it because it is very soothing and helps with the redness in my face. I would recommend this to others because it feels very refreshing and smells very nice. It is a great product, but I think it is a bit overpriced. However, it is very quick to use and a great face spray for beginners. MARIO BADESCU - Facial Spray with Aloe, Herbs and Rosewater

Treat + cover redness with this color corrector
The Cicapair Tiger Grass Color Correcting Treatment from Dr. Jart+ Dr. Jart+ - Cicapair Tiger Grass Color Correcting Treatment SPF 30 has been a favorite of mine for a while. It has ups and downs, but let’s get into the review... This product is a color correcting treatment to target redness. It has a pretty thick consistency, and if you apply too much it can feel thick on the skin. Why? Because it also includes SPF 30! I was ecstatic when I learned it had sunscreen in it. It also contains Cica, an ingredient used in skincare to help TREAT redness. So you’re getting a color corrector and a treatment all in one! The product applies green, but as it melts into your skin, it turns into more of a beige/neutral color so your whole face doesn’t look green. See the process in my photos! The texture was off putting to me at first. It’s pretty thick and you have to work it into your skin to get a nice consistency. Additionally, if you try to wear makeup over it, it has a chance of pilling—something I experienced sometimes but not every time I used this product. I love the Dr. Jart+ Cicapair line, and I’ve definitely seen a reduction of my overall redness while using this product. An added bonus is that it didn’t make me break out at all! I have to mention the smell. It smells a bit like clay, sweetly earthy, yet medical and lingers for a while. I suggest trying this out in Sephora before purchasing just to make sure the scent doesn’t give you a headache or totally gross you out. I really enjoy using this product on days where I don’t plan on wearing makeup. It keeps my redness neutralized for 4-8 hours depending on what I’m doing, which I think is great. In my opinion, this is a must-have if you suffer from rosacea or redness like I do. Value-wise, I think it’s worth it if you buy it in a value set—I got mine in a set with 3 other Cicapair items for $42! The product lasts a long time as well. I’m going to have to give this product 4 out of 5 stars, since it can be thicker than a normal color corrector and can be difficult to work with.

The HGs of facial mists that change the game!
Ok— ill start this by saying: you’re either a mister or you’re not. You either love using a facial mist, or could care less and do not see the point. I’m here to tell you: no matter the skin type or concerns you have, you can always benefit from added hydration and locking in your precious skincare routine you just spent however long doing. Introducing my two favorite mists, that I use for two entirely different purposes: YTTP adaptogen soothe + hydrate activated mist and AOS molecular savior probiotics repair mist. YTTP Adaptogen soothe + hydrate activated mist is a HOLYGRAIL, game changing, mist for me. This is perfect for sensitive and irritated skin types but oily/normal/combo/& dry can benefit from this one! It claims to be an ultra- fine mist that hydrates, calms visible redness, and evens the look of skin tone with antioxidant- rich adaptogens, hyaluronic acid, and soothing peptides. It is to be “like a serum” in a mist. It definitely has a really refreshing, slightly milky, texture that comes out of the finest mister that I have ever experienced. I really love how cooling and soothing it is on the skin right away and it has really sturdy, beautiful, glass packaging. I use it a few different ways: as a mid day pick-me-up, right after cleansing as more of a toner, in between serum steps to keep my face damp, at the end of my routine to seal everything in, OR my favorite is as a layering serum spray. I like to apply a serum and then layer on this mist as a plumping essence-type delivery. It leaves my skin so hydrated! I highly recommend this for any and all skin types. Allies of Skin molecular savior probiotics repair mist: claims to be a godsend for thirsty skin. It is composed of an alcohol free aloe and rose water base and a reparative blend of probiotics and 6 antioxidants that leave your complexion glowing and dewy. This mist is actually so unique and I will never stop reaching for it. I have never had a mist KEEP THE GLOW like this one does. I religiously use it as a toner after I cleanse, to really pump up the hydration and help my following layers absorb deeper, and also to seal in my routine at the end. I swear nothing keeps my night routine locked down like this mist! I always wake up glowing and still deeply hydrated! That is huge for a dehydrated/dry girl like me. It is also packed with a super complex of brightening ingredients. It does have a slight floral scent to it, but no added fragrance. It comes out of the packaging a little aggressive— so I like to spritz it into my hands and pat into the skin. I highly recommend this mist as well, for all skin types. Do I love both of these mists? YES. But, I have two very different purposes for them and they will both forever be in my collection. Bliss rose gold rescue toner mist
The toner of my dreams, formulated for sensitive skin but perfect for everyone! Full of soothing ingredients like rose water, colloidal gold and chamomile extract it really helps with redness and irritation. I use it every time after washing my face and before going in with my favorite serum. It’s a very fine mist and the metal bottle really keeps the product cool which feels super refreshing on the skin. I’m on my third bottle so that should really be a testament of how much I really love this :) bliss - Rose Gold Rescue Toner Mist

Ingredient Spotlight: Cica/Centella Asiatica
Hi guys! Today I’m gonna be Spotlighting the ingredient cica or centella asiatica. The products I’ve chosen to review for you with cica are LANEIGE - Cica Sleeping Mask , Benton - Goodbye Redness Centella Mask Pack, 10 Masks, Each , and the Dr. Jart+ - Cicapair Tiger Grass Calming Mist ! What is Centella Asiatica? It’s an herb that is grown primarily in Asia, with multiple uses, including medicine and cooking. However, it’s commonly used in skincare for its healing and soothing benefits. It contains active compounds that show antioxidant benefits and soothes upset skin. Some people liken it to green tea! — Laneige Cica Sleeping Mask: this has been legit the perfect addition to my night routine. You’re apparently supposed to use it 1-2 times a week but I can’t stop myself from using it at least four times a week. It’s soft and creamy, and just a tad thicker than their water sleeping masks. It’s hydrating and neutralizes my redness like NO BIZ. I struggle with rosacea hardcore and this calms my skin down from any kind of irritation or reaction. The cica in it is clearly the powerhouse, and the cream is rich but never streaky. I wake up with refreshed and calmed skin, and no residue. It’s $34, but it has lasted me a while and I already have a backup. — Benton Centella Mask: not my favorite cica product, but it’s not bad at all! It’s $2.80/mask, which is a great price to me. This surprisingly soothes my breakouts and acne the most, and doesn’t irritate any skin. However, I think they make a serum that is this mask in serum form, and I would much rather have that! Sheet masks seem kind of wasteful and useless to me, since I could get the same benefits from a serum. This mask is good, though, and if you struggle with irritated red breakouts, this would probably help you! — Dr. Jart Cicapair Mist: I guess this is my favorite of the three! I use this at all times of the day, morning to night, after makeup, before makeup, to refresh my skin midday, you name it! It’s truly a do it all mist. This soothes and calms my skin instantly and I can see the redness fade away as it hydrates and helps my skin. It’s great to use when I have a reaction to a product, or my face is red from anxiety or rosacea! I would totally repurchase this, as it only costs $23.
