Easy Pedicure & Nail Polish Review
WARNING! I’m serious! If you hate feet do not scroll into the photos. I’ve had surgery on my feet so my toenails do not look normal (thanks, youth sports!). NOW! Onto the review. Today I’ll be reviewing the Play Rosé nail polish by Holo Taco. HOLO TACO - Play Rosé This is a newer nail polish brand that was created by a YouTuber. Now I usually do not buy into celebrity brands but this one has SO MANY unique formulas that other brands don’t offer. So I just had to try them out! After purchasing some basic polishes last year, I finally caved and ordered a “holo” (rainbow shifting) formula. The Play Rosé is a holographic rainbow glitter formula with a rose gold base. It’s GORGEOUS. I will say that it does take 2 coats to get good coverage on the nail if you’re using it by itself. My beef with this polish is that when it dries down, it feels like sandpaper, so you really need to seal it in with a top coat for it to feel normal, and any areas you miss with the top coat can be sharp and annoying. The top coat I used here is HOLO TACO - Super Glossy Taco . I paid $14 for this nail polish and that’s definitely a premium price, but it’s a unique formula. You do also get a more-than-standard amount of polish in the bottle. If you’re in the market for a super high quality rose gold rainbow glitter nail polish, this is the one for you! This really makes a pedicure fun. I usually only use boring polishes on my toenails but I love how this turned out! 4/5 #CheriePartner

I love pedicures. I feel like they are such a luxury experience. It is definitely pricey and can add up if you are on a regular frequency. They are really easy to do on your own. Today I want to share my step-by-step pedicure at Home. I have this callus remover tool that I really love to use. It helps to remove all the dead skin. Normally I like to use it on the heals and rough areas as well as the side of big toe. Callused skin is uncomfortable and unpleasant. And I usually do this step in shower. I would follow up with an exfoliation. Or use a foot bath.Soaking the feet during a pedicure can be a really relaxing and enjoyable experience. sumbody - Ginger Jasmine Vanilla Whipped Sugar Scrub This is like a sugar scrub and smells amazing. I just apply this all over my leg and work it down to my feet. You want to make sure the your foot is baby soft after exfoliation with no dead skin cells before moving to the actually parting step. You can also Put a quarter-sized amount of moisturizing lotion into the palm of your hand. Rub your hands together, and do a massage. Make sure you moisturize the gap between the toes. I would start with a manicure kid where I got from target with buffer, nail files, trimmer and nail clipper. I would also use a 100% pure acetone and some cotton balls as cleaning. I like this shape of container and I feel like its super easy to work with especially you are doing everything at home by yourself. you can pop top, take a jumbo cotton ball to clean the leftover nail polish and cleaning your nails.

7 Steps to a Perfect Pro-Style Pedicure Right at Home
Going to the salon for a pedicure these days can get pretty pricey. However, leaving the house with ghastly-looking toenails is ill-advised in the summertime. Those cute sandals are meant for showcasing perfectly-polished toes and smooth as silk feet. If going to the salon is out of the question due to time or budget constraints, you can turn your own space into a salon-spa oasis to give yourself the perfect professional pedicure!
Better than a Pedicure!
I LOVE foot peels! They work SO well SO fast and are actually really easy to use. So you put them on like socks or little booties and leave them on for 1.5-2 hours. You can still function normally with them on, walk around, do your thing, you’re not pinned to your seat when you have them on by any means. After about 3 days you’ll see the skin off the bottom of your feet begun to peel off, quite literally as if a snake shedding its skin. I just get in the shower and scratch them all of with a pumice stone, may take a while to really get everything off, but the result is smooth, uncracked, uncalloused feet. Somehow i have really calloused feet all year round, and really dry heels, and these are especially helpful and a great alternative to getting a regular pedicure. Its also a great time to use during self-isolation since all nail salons are closed anyway, and honestly these are so much more effective at getting rid of the dead skin at the bottom of your feet than the scrapers and buffers they use at the salon. If you use these 3-4 times in a row, you’re sure to have soft smooth, ready-for-flip-flops feet. The two foot masks pictures here are both equally effective, I just prefer the Ohk Life ones because they have little laces that tie around the ankles and make them easier to stay on. You can also wear socks over them if you’re worried about them sliding off.

My Mental Wellness Improved Through My Self AcceptanceWhen I was around 13 or 14 years old, I remember routinely taking one of my older sister’s black eyeliner pencils before school every morning. I’d arrive early so that I could slip away to the girl’s bathroom to apply a single black line to my eyelids. My parents didn’t allow me to wear any makeup at the time. Although this smudgy line on my eyelids didn’t make me look all that much different, I never felt comfortable at school without it. My teenage mind convinced myself that I needed some sort of cosmetic symbol in order to appropriately express my femininity. Up until that point in my life, society had told girls that looked like me - tall, Black, and with kinky hair - that we somehow weren’t as beautiful as the other girls. For far too long, I believed it too.Feb. 17
