Get your nails to grow faster and stronger like never before!
Nail growth can be as stubborn as growing out your hair! It feels like it takes forever and checking up on them every day just makes the whole waiting time worse! Keep in mind that nails are not really meant to grow extremely fast, and are connected to your general well being. ‘Healthy you’ equals ‘healthy nails’ - it’s just how it is!
These Products SAVED My Nails
Oooof my nails were in rough shape for most of spring and summer. Constantly painting my nails had caused my nails to weaken, peel, and some discoloration. For pretty much all of 2020 (until a week ago) the nail on my index finger would split in the same exact spot. At the beginning of August I decided to stop painting my nails and focus on recovery. I purchased a set from Nails Inc from Sephora for $25. It contained a gel effect polish (that I wore for my wedding day and immediately removed), nail file, superfood oil, 45-second top coat, and nail treatment/base coat. I’m going to talk about 2 items from that set that saved my nails. They’re available for purchase on their own, but as of right now the set is still in stock and is an excellent bang for your buck because everything is full size. *update 9/29 - oil no longer available on its own at Sephora. Is available on brand’s website. The 4-piece set referenced above is available at Sephora still for $25 .INC. - Nails.Inc Mani Must Haves The .INC. - Superfood Nail and Cuticle Repair Oil feels so nice. It has a very light scent (can’t pinpoint it) and contains a lot of nourishing oils, including castor, argan, sweet almond, and soybean. I dab a tiny amount using the dropper on my cuticles and rub all over my nails for about 2-3 minutes a few times per week (usually 5ish days - more is better but I forget 🤷🏻♀️). It soaks in within a few minutes. $15 The .INC. - Back to Life Recovery Treatment & Base Coat is a great treatment because it contains nourishing oils, vitamins, and minerals. What I especially like is that it has a subtle pinky-nude tint which gives my nails an instant healthier-looking appearance. The directions say to apply 1-2 coats a few times per week. I find that when I do 2 coats I dislike the peeling after a few days, and it’s less noticeable with 1 coat. I like it as a base coat so far, though I’ve only painted my nails 2x since mid-September. I apply 1 coat every 4-5 days. Easy to apply and no scent. $15 I’ve noticed with the combo of these 2, my nails are peeling less and are growing a bit longer without breaking as frequently. They also feel stronger, and are visibly less stained than they were at the beginning of August. My right index finger nail didn’t split this week and I’m shook!! I like Nails Inc products a lot. They’re cruelty-free, and have vegan and halal items - oh and non-toxic!! They are available on the brand’s website and Sephora.com. I personally think their sets ($15+) are the best bang for your buck because most polishes on their own are $10-15 each. They have a lot of cool colors and finishes available. I especially love the polish brushes. They make it easy to apply. Been using this brand for years and will continue to! #CheriePartner

No More Hangnails! Perfect at-home Mani Care
deborah lippmann - Cuticle Protection & Repair Set is the perfect set for hydrating and maintaining cuticles in between salon appointments! Theyre small enough to pop in your purse and use on the go, or for longer travel they can also go on planes. deborah lippmann - Cuticle Remover - Exfoliating Cuticle Nail Treatment is gentle but gets the job done of helping to rid excess cuticles. It doesn’t sting or irritate my skin during or after use and my hands are always softer than before. The smell isn’t noticeable or crazy and it washes off leaving no residue easily. A star has been knocked off for price, as it is expensive but works well. deborah lippmann - Cuticle Oil Nail Cuticle Treatment is also a great addition to any at home mani collection. It smells heavily of coconut, almost like tanning lotion, so if that’s not your thing you will definitely not like this. Though a dry oil, it doesn’t sink in as quickly as you would expect so it truly is more of a treatment as it stays on really until you wash it off or it rubs off. This with some gloves is very moisturizing. Again a star has been knocked off for the price, the smell is also very strong.

If you want to strengthen your brittle nails, try this👆
My nails were healthy and hard. After doing nail gel for several times, my nails became more and more fragile. I noticed this change in my nails while I was cutting my nails. My nails became very soft and started to look less like healthy nails but rather having an opaque texture to them. Sally Hansen - Nail Treatment 45837 Hard as Nails Serum I saw this nail strengthen treatment at Walmart and decided to give it a try. It is a gel type serum. I apply one plum of serum on all five nails and cuticles two or three times a day. Different from similar products from other brands, this gel is very lightweight and easy-to-absorb. I will not feel anything on my nails just several seconds after I apply the serum, which is pretty convenient because I hate having sticky stuff on my nails that does not dry out very quickly. Because it is so easy to be absorbed, I don’t waste any time waiting for it to dry out. I can go back to whatever I was doing shortly after applying this serum. The serum is formulated with Hydrolyzed Proteins, which helps to protect against damage and breaking. There are pink microcapsules in the serum, which makes this product look professional and high quality. These microcapsules are enriched with Vitamin A, C and E, which help nails to grow stronger and healthier. I have kept using this serum for two months now and it is definitely a game changer for me. I can feel that my nails are way harder than before and they start to look healthy again. I can now do my nails without having to worry about damaging my nails and not being able to recover. I am satisfied with the result and I will keep using this to see if it can make my nails healthier than ever before.

Wanna Fancy Nails? Strengthen Nails First!
If you are a fan of nail art, you must have heard enough about the importance of base coats. Yet if you usually take the DIY route, chances are that you skipped the very first step once or twice to save time, jumping right to the fun of picking polish colours. Speaking from experience, however, I find using a base coat actually a smarter, more efficient move in the long run. Base coat is the first layer applied to the natural nail. It is both a barrier between the nail and the polish that prevents the pigment from staining your tips, and an adhesive that helps to prolong your manicure. It is particularly important for people who have bumps and ridges on their nails to apply base coat first, because without it, nail polishes won’t have a sticky, elastic surface to adhere to. Recently I’ve been using the tried-and-trusted OPI - Nail Envy Nail Strengthener Original Formula. It contains hydrolysed wheat protein and calcium that aim to build stronger, longer nails. I use it as a base coat alternative underneath my nail polish and it just makes the whole process much easier: the application is smooth, it dries fast and it reduces the chipping and peeling-off of my nail polish! Most impressively, it alone can be used as a nail treatment. Apply two coats to your natural nails, followed by one coat every other day, remove them and repeat the application weekly - and a cycle of treatment is done! It’s the perfect product to repair and strengthen nails between your visits to the nail salon, or when your nails appear weak and damaged from removal of gel polish. I’ve noticed that it makes my nails feel stronger after only one week of application - curious to see how much it will help them grow longer! If you want stronger, longer, more mani-ready nails, don’t miss this one out!

Girly prob? 💋Simple hacks can change your long nail life!
"How do you function?" is the most frequent question I've got from the people around me since I had my long nails. Life ain't easy for girls with long nails as we are more likely to get trouble with picking things and caring for our nails to prevent them from breaking. As an acrylic nail obsessor, I just CAN'T give up long nails, so I've searched a lot to get these useful tips to solve the long nail problems. Here're the helpful ones: Use nails as scoops The first trick is that when applying the cosmetic product in a tub, it will help to flip your finger over to use the top of your nail as a scoop rather than using the pad of your finger, as that often leads to getting stuff under your nails. Use nails as tweezers to put on false lashes It's kind of tricky when it goes to applying false lashes. Fortunately, pinching the lash with your nails, as close to the lash band as possible, makes it much more comfortable. Always keep a pair of tweezers at the ready Long nails make gripping onto small objects troublesome. From picking up a coin to retrieving your credit card from a reader, tweezers are always helpful, so let your tweezers be your new bestie gals. Text with the side of your thumb & Type with the tips My friends used to complain about how long they had waited for receiving my phone messengers, and I felt so wronged as they just had no clues how hard it could be to type with long nails! However, using the sides of your thumbs is a game-changing way to type on your phone without skipping a beat. Besides, when you type on a computer, using the very tip of your acrylic nails can make things much more convenient. Use moisturizing nail treatments Acrylic nails are gorgeous, but the chemical ingredients inside wreak havoc on the cuticles by drying out the skin around your nails. Therefore, it's never enough to apply nail treatments like cuticle oils or creams to your nails to ensure they're hydrated. By doing so, your acrylic nails can last longer without peeling or clipping! I've also learned some other tips from 5-Minute Crafts on Youtube, and you can find them in the pictures I've posted here. Suffice it to so, if you wanna get long acrylic nails, you must take good care of them. Hope these tips and tricks can leave you guys some of the insights! What's your story with long nails?
