💅Paint Your Nails PERFECTLY at Home
💅Paint Your Nails PERFECTLY at Home
Today Im gonna share my fully process, STEP-BY-STEP at home manicure with you guys. starting out, you will need to get your nail polish off (if you have some left) Started out, I would take 100% acetone where you can get at almost everywhere. I got mine at Walmart with great deal. I found that acetone takes nail polish off the easiest. Make sure you get your nails moisturized. After I get my cuticles softened and trimmed, I would use a buff to buff off the sharp edges and to get the perfect shape that I want. Then it’s time to move on to my base coat. I am using this base coat from Revlon that I get in drugstore years ago. It’s supper affordable and I personally don’t have any preferences on nail polish branding. If you know one that’s really working fantastic, let me know I want to try something different. REVLON - Quick Dry Base Coat *TIP # 1 * Paint your dominant hand first. I am left handed, so I usually paint my left hand first. Because it is hard to control non-dominant hand when you are doing everything by yourself. *TIP # 2 * Dab in the middle in the center first, slowly go down and then repeat across the entire nail. Let that dry completely before moving to the next step. *TIP # 3 * If you want to test whether it’s dried or not, don’t touch it. Instead, press them against each other. If they feel sticky, it’s still not set. Normally 5 minutes Repeat the same step to paint the first coat of nail polish. Normally I would do at least 2 - 3 coat to get the perfect radiance.essie - Longwear Nail Polish Finish up with a thin layer of top coat.L.A. COLORS - L.A. COLORS Top Coat Wait at least 30 minutes before touching water after you are completely finished.

💅🏻 Gel manicures: do's and don'ts! For beginners!
💅🏻 Gel manicures: do's and don'ts! For beginners!
At-home manicure sounds a lot of fun, but some common nail polish mistakes may ruin EVERYTHING! Here're the top 4 mistakes beginners usually make while applying gel polish and the effective ways to fix them. Common mistakes to avoid: Repeatedly paint on the same place of your nail with the gel brush, leading to heavy marks on the nail surface. Apply another layer before the base coat dries completely, causing pesky bubbles in your nail polish finish. Only apply one coat of nail polish, relatively making the color saturation of your nails low and inaesthetic. Apply too many coats on your nails, making gel polish overflows on your skin or cuticles. This will cause the gel polish to peel. The effective fixing ways: Swipe the brush in a straight line from the base to the tip of your nail. Do not paint back and forth repeatedly in one place. For a nice and even manicure, apply one to three thin layers of polish. Be patient, and don't expect to apply all coats at once, because it will make it difficult to dry and easily overflow the nail edge. Make sure that you wipe off excess polish from your skin and cuticles BEFORE curing. I recommend you remove the overflowing polish quickly once you get the product on your skin, as the gel polish can sometimes dry quickly and make it difficult to clean a few minutes later. Get a nice nail polish kit with all the nail tools you need. Even though you may not do your mani at home frequently, it is always worthy of getting a decent nail polish kit as some products inside are really helpful for not only gel manicure fixing but also daily nail care routine. For starters, I recommend Sally Hansen - Salon Gel Polish Starter Kit. This kit can be found in drugstores and includes literally everything you need. The LED curing lamp inside is the one I love the most, helping the polish dry quickly. The price is $70 on Walmart. Considering its high quality and various nail tools, it's worth the price point! Hope you guys find these tips helpful! Love you all xxx!

HOW TO PAINT NAILS PERFECTLY AT HOME
HOW TO PAINT NAILS PERFECTLY AT HOME
This video is meant to show the technique that I use to paint nails at home perfectly. Before following this tutorial, your nails should already be prepped with base coat! And you should have top coat ready to apply afterwards. When painting nails, always start by placing the brush 2/3rds down the nail, towards your cuticle. When you do this, it gives you more room to push the brush to fit your cuticle without flooding it and looking messy. Then, pull your brush to one side and repeat to cover the whole nail. Do two coats as necessary, and follow up with top coat. It's ok even if you make a mistake you can use a dotting tool or like I did, a cuticle tool to wipe away the mistake before it dries! Another tip for perfectly painted nails at home is to wrap your tips. My nails aren't long enough to demonstrate, but you would basically paint the edge of your nail with a little bit of polish to prevent it from chipping too quickly! When you do this, your nails look fresh out of the salon 💅🏼 Products Used: duri - Rejuvacote 1 Nail Growth System essence - Shine Last & Go! Gel Nail Polish essie - Gel.Setter Top Coat

I like to do nail art at home when I entered the university, and sometimes I go to the nail salon when I meet complicated and favorite styles. The idea for my first nail art came from an Instagram blogger who introduced exactly what you should do each step of the way. She also wrote online what a manicure kit should include: nail lights, scrubs, repair kits, nail polish, nutritional oils and related stickers. DIY steps: Step 1: Trim your nails, either square or round Step 2: Rub the area that is not smooth enough with rubbing strip, and you should remember to polish fingernail surface. Step 3: Apply a clear base glue to the surface of your nails. Buy a good base glue if possible because it will protect your nails. Use a nail light to illuminate the nail polish glue each time it is applied Step 4: Paint your favorite nail polish on top. Be careful not to paint it over your nails. If you feel the color is lighter, you can apply another layer to strengthen it Step 5: Apply transparent adhesive, Decorating with your favorite accessories, such as bows, bear stickers, or accessories that are popular these days. Step6: Apply the reinforcing gel to seal the layer and shine the nail light for about 90 seconds. At the beginning, I only bought 4 bottles of nail polish color, and the whole DIY kit was $30.The capacity of nail polish glue basically again 30 milliliters or so. There are a lot of colors for you to choose, and you should not buy too much at a time, because nail polish glue also has shelf life. Depending on the complexity of the style, a manicure at the salon can cost anywhere from $25 to $40.It might be a little expensive for a girl who is still in school. I usually only go to the store for a complicated nail at New Year or Christmas. .I usually buy Kiko nail polish

🖤 DIY Almond black nails on Press-Ons 🖤
🖤 DIY Almond black nails on Press-Ons 🖤
The struggle to grow your nails and not break them is real. I rubbed them with castor oil all the time, but they just kept going *snap*. But I have small nail beds, and the almond shape is my favorite. And by painting press on nails, I think I saved time and money. I did it in 2 steps: 🌟 Step 1) Glue your press-ons. I used the KISS - Kiss Salon Acrylic Natural Nails Forbidden Stiletto Shaped Nails from Amazon. I had to shave the edges of the smallest nails to fit mine, but the acrylic material is REALLY strong. I can hear the click clack of my nails on my phone while typing 😆 It comes with a glue I just applied directly to my clean nails. Then you need to act fast- press the acrylic firmly on your nail. It’ll be dry in 10 seconds, really. Careful, though~ It CAN tug and bond your skin together 👎🏼 my only criticism besides size is that the glue stick hurts to squeeze. It’s tiny and tough to release a little bit at a time, but still- a softer grip would be nice. 🎨 Step 2) Paint time I used the Sally Hansen Xtreme wear polish in 629) Black Out. 🌑 Here’s a review of each: ORLY - Orly Base Coat & Top Coat One of the best base coats imo. With regular polish on my natural nail, this has prevented chipping for up to 5 days. It has a tiny orange tint, evening out nail tone like a primer. Sally Hansen - Xtreme Wear Nail Polish In two coats, this black was super opaque. It’s a true black, not blue-tinted or brown. But as shown in pic 3, 1 coat is a little translucent under the sun. The polish also smells more like chemicals, stronger than other brands. Still, it delivered in the color department. essie - Gel.Setter Top Coat I love this little one. It’s thick and viscous, but way glossier than traditional lacquer top coats. It made my nails shine like a mirror. Don’t lay it all at once to avoid air bubbles, but pick this up if you like extra glossiness. 🌰 On nail shapes: Almond Some people label this as stiletto nails. I think it’s more almond because the end is round instead of sharp and pointy Almond nails give the illusion of a longer nail than square, oval, or ballerina nails do. I thought fully sharp stiletto nails would look too vampiric for my taste, but that’s just me. But if you get these nails and want them to be sharper, you can definitely file them They’re flexible enough to fit comfortably, but strong enough for reshaping. 🌹 FINAL NOTES 🌹 I’m happy with each of these products, all things considered. Something about applying polish to press on nails also feels like it dries faster. This method doesnt have the same security as salon-grade acrylics. I had to re-glue my pinky nail last night. 💫 But if you want DIY acrylic nails, this is worth a shot.
