Special occasion: clubbing makeup!
This is the look that I always go to for clubbing in the fall! (Obviously not right now, because of Covid) I really love to use colors based on the season for my eye makeup which is the focal point of my routines, and since this is the fall, I always love to use oranges, yellows and browns! Since I also have a lot of brown clubbing clothes, this eye look is my GO TO for whenever we’re allowed to go out again! I have combo skin with some hormonal acne. In the before shot I’m not wearing any makeup, but in the final shot I’m also wearing a full face of makeup just FYI. The must have makeup product for this look and for this season is the persona - Color Theory Eye Kit Copper ! It is MAAZING!!! I’ve recommended it to all of my friends because it’s so versatile, the colors are so pigmented, and it’s a perfect palette to use either with your fingers or with a brush! The set also comes with an angled brush which is amazing. To achieve this look: Start with the lightest color in the palette and brush all over your eyelid Use the orange color to sweep over your eyelid as well, and then darken up the outer corner with the deep brown shade. Make sure to blend up and out so that the color diffuses and there are no harsh lines. Use the copper glitter shade with your fingers and press into the center of your eyelid for the main attraction! Use the light shimmer shade again at the top of your brow bone to add a simple highlight, and also use in the inner corners of your eyes. Follow with eyeliner if you want, or just mascara! #cheriepartner #cheriecreator

2-Step Makeup for the Gym Tutorial
So you’re heading off to the gym and want to put on some makeup without the makeup look, right? Here are just 2 products you can use - a powder foundation and waterproof mascara! :) When you’re working out and want that extra confidence to slay your routine, it’s okay to wear some makeup! They key is to keep it light and make sure it doesn’t budge. My first product I suggest is a powder foundation applied with a loose kabuki brush. Use a matte powder since you’re probably going to sweat and leave with a Dewey appearance. Using a kabuki brush will even out your skin, without washing out your complexion and provide light to medium coverage. The smashbox - Halo Fresh Setting & Perfecting Powder is probably my favorite. It’s super lightweight, coverage is just right and it doesn’t dry out my skin. It gives a nice glow that only gets better as you start to sweat. $42 The KVD VEGAN BEAUTY - Lock-It Powder Foundation feels heavy if you apply with the sponge it came with and sometimes is too much for the gym. The formula is very pigmented so only use a little to blend out and then apply as needed. $37 #Younique - Pressed powder[products]#[FourStars] This powder was OK. It felt the heaviest on my skin and seemed to wash it out. For $32, I suggest something else. #Pulse Cosmetics - Waterproof Mascara[products]#[FiveStars] I 💙💙💙 this brand and mascara! When you’re working out, you want to make sure your mascara doesn’t budge and this will do the trick! It’s a nice pigmented black mascara that nicely fans out your lashes for a thick look. The best part it’s only $10!! Instructions: With your preferred powder, dip your kabuki brush gently into the powder and apply to a clean face and blend! You can build your coverage as needed, but don’t go crazy since you’re just working out. Afterwards apply your mascara and BOOM. ***Remember to wash your face with appropriate cleanser after the gym to remove sweet and makeup bulid up. This 2-step tutorial is easy and perfect for all skin types since it’s so lightweight and you don’t need much. #cherieparter #gymmakeuptutorial

Makeup For My Graduation Photoshoot!!! 🎓💖✨
First of all, congrats to all my fellow 2020 graduates!!! I recently did a graduation photoshoot with my family and so I wanted to show you the makeup I did for it! I wanted to look like myself but more enhanced and defined. I started with MAKE UP FOR EVER - Full Cover Concealer to cover any blemishes on my face. It has a super thick and high coverage formula that lasts all day (it’s literally waterproof!) and is perfect for pinpoint concealing! I skipped foundation because I wanted my makeup to look more skinlike in the photos and not super flat. I then defined my brows with MAYBELLINE - Brow Ultra Slim Defining Eyebrow Pencil . It’s a great dupe for Anastasia’s brow wix and any other more “expensive” skinny brow pencil. It’s not too pigmented where you accidentally like like you use a sharpie to draw on your brows. It has the perfect in-between pigment and wax so it lasts all day and adds thickness to the brows. I used benefit - 24-Hour Brow Setter Clear Brow Gel to set my brows. It’s literally super glue for brows! This is a clear gel that keeps my hairs looking fluffy and combed up all day. I used the bronzer and highlight fromTOM FORD - Soleil Contouring Compact to add some warmth, glow and definition to the face. It has a super smooth powder formula that doesn’t look like makeup once on the skin! It blends in perfectly and seamlessly so it looks just like skin. For blush I used CHANEL - ROUGE COCO Lip Blush in 420 for a warm berry glow on the cheeks. This is a gel like formula that is super cheer but buildable. It also leaves a nice glassy sheen on the skin! To set the concealer and the parts of my face that gets shiny throughout the day, I used rms beauty - "Un" Powder . It makes my skin look satin smooth and doesn’t let any shine come through! It also doesn’t have flashback (if you apply only a sheer layer on the skin). For eyeshadow, I used TOM FORD - Cream and Powder Eye Color in Naked Bronze. It’s a beautiful combination of a creamy, moussey bronze cream shadow and a sheer but super glittery gold powder shadow top coat. It lasts all day and looks suuper flattering! I always get questions on what I have on my eyesqhen I wear it. I used my holy-grail favorite DollyWink - DollyWink Liquid Eyeliner to line my eyes for extra definition. It has a super fine tip for extra precision and the formula is inky black and doesn’t budge at all! For the biggest, baddest lashes, I used LANCÔME - Monsieur Big Waterproof Mascara . It adds so much volume and length to my lashes and the waterproof formula makes it stay on all day without any smudging. For the lips, I wanted a shade similar to my natural lip color so I went for COLOURPOP - Ultra Blotted Lip from Pony’s Collaboration in Holly Lolly. It’s a beautiful warm pink!

Cute and Simple Graduation Makeup 👩🏾🎓💄
Hey Y’all so today I’m showing you guys a cute graduation makeup look! I wanted something simple as I am a very simple girl lol I love having a simple look that still looks really nice. I have combo sensitive skin and my skin tone medium/Deep. The products I used are : Face: - Concealer: MAYBELLINE - FaceStudio Master Conceal - Foundation: DIY tinted moisturizer (Trader Joe’s aloe Vera gel moisturizer/ drop of nyx total drop foundation) Eyes: - NYX - Pigment Primer - NYX - Matte Liquid Liner - COLOURPOP - Perception - BLACK RADIANCE - True Complexion Contour Palette in the color sculpt: I love this contour palette! When I first started learning makeup basics this palette was my go to! I still use it sometimes for different things. I mostly use the medium to Dark palette because it fits my skin tone better especially in the summer! I love the highlighters in these palettes as well. Definitely a good guide to people learning how to contour. The powders are pigmented as well and have multiple uses! Lips: - COLOURPOP - So Juicy Plumping Gloss in the color She’s Here Steps: - Take your nyx primer and apply it to both eyelids - Take a fluffy eyeshadow brush and blend out the color Culture from perception Shayla x Colourpop collab. - Next take sculpt color form the Black radiance contour palette and pack it on top of your eyelid. - Take the concealer and clean up your brows under your arch and around your brow bone to make your eyebrows sharp and clean. (I don’t fill in my eyebrows but I like how the concealer accentuates them) - After that take your DIY tinted moisturizer (or foundation) and apply it to your face. - Next take a concealer and conceal under your eyes. Use just a little and blend it out. - After that take your setting spray and spray it all over your face. - Lastly take the So Juicy lip gloss and apply it to your lips and That’s all! Now you’re ready to walk across that stage! Super simple and easy makeup look. BESOS 😘

Perfect Network Event Makeup ⭐️
Living in NYC has taught me the importance of networking. Networking is a great way to get to know other individuals that share common interests as you - it’s essentially an event to make new connections and acquaintances. When meeting new people I always like to jazz up my makeup routine in order to make a lasting impression. You never know who could be at the event you could be meeting a future friend, employer or even your next bae so show them your creativity through the art of makeup! I personally love to teater between the line of dramatic and wearable. I think this combination displays my personality to a T. With my makeup I can display that I like color, can be bold and confident yet clean, polished and refined. My go to look to showcase this is a fierce sharp wing shape with a bold color and dramatic lash. The pop of color on the eye really draws attention to the face and offers just the right amount of flash. I start by penciling out the shape I want using a similar color. Colourpop is a great place to find an eyeliner stick to match the shade of eyeshadow you are looking for. In this case I will be using a NYX eye pencil NYX - Slide on Eye Pencil and working with blue green tones to blend into the shape created. Once the shape is filled using I take a pointed Q-Tip and micellar water to clean up any imperfections. Using a flat eyeshadow brush will help eliminate fall out and keep the shape sharp. I like to alternate in between sizes to better control where you place product. Because the eye’s are the star of this special occasion I keep the lip neutral and the rest of the face simple as well. The final touches are a nice sheer highlighter to essentiate the eye with out competing with the overall look. You can always add a color on the lip to amp up the look based on the occasion ;)

TATI BEAUTY - Textured Neutrals Vol 1 I love Tatis eyeshadows; I only use it for special occasions, which as we all know are too few nowadays! But it’s my birthday, so I figured I’d make use of it for my small family get together😂 Her eyeshadows are so gorgeous and creamy. There is fall out and I don’t think I’ve ever used the glitters. For my taste, some of the colors are a bit tooooo pigmented, like I love an orange, but hers are just too...crayola like? It may be my skin tone though! I just can’t find a way to make it work. I also love the concept , where each column is it’s own shade. Idefinitely recommend. Has anyone found a dupe for it? For a casual look, I usually use her sequin Shades that have a touch of glitter. For foundation, I used huda beauty HUDA BEAUTY - Fauxfilter Foundation I also only use this foundation for special occasions because (IMO) you can only get away with it during the evening/dimmed lighting (e.g., you’re going on a date and you know the restaurant has forgiving lighting). Otherwise, in the sun, it just looks soooo heavy. But I do love it as a full coverage foundation for going out.
