Long Lasting 💄🥰
Here is yet another Sephora sale section purchase! This is the Sephora Collection Mini Lip Creme Lip Stain Set. I LOVE IT!! This is such a treat after my disappointing experience with the MAKE UP FOR EVER long wear lipstick. The Sephora Collection stains actually DO last a loooooong time. I really like all three shades, but the red is probably my favorite (who doesn’t love red? It looks good on EVERYONE!). I wore it all day yesterday and it literally lasted all day without the need to reapply. I didn’t use a lip liner either, which I normally do unless I’m testing out how long a new lipstick will stay. If you swipe you can see how the color held up after about 8 hours of wear, drinking tea and chewing gum all day and eating lunch! This is a high quality product that I cannot recommend enough! COVERGIRL - Outlast Lip Stain About me 🤗 and the product 😚Skin type/skin tone I have naturally dry lips 😭 and my natural color is a pale nude color. 😚Product function The product claims to give lips a lightweight beautiful color that is long lasting for hours with easy pen 🖊 like application. 😚Texture/consistency The texture of the applicator is like a pen brush while the coloring itself goes on like a thin liquid. The top coat is clear and glide on just like a smooth chap stick. 😚Packaging The packaging is like a pen. There’s a cap that covers the applicator tip and to apply the product color, just draw directly on the lips. There are pros and cons of this packaging. Having the product in the form of a pen allows for easy application, however the stain dries out easily if you don’t cap the cap back on right after application. Also sometimes I have to push harder on the top for the product to come out more on the top again. Beauty story 📖 😚Overall experience I bought this one after I used the 420 Sassy Mauve (in an earlier post) for about half a year since I liked it so much. I wanted a brighter color so I picked this one 😚Verdict ❤️ Like I said in my previous post, I really like this product. And I like this color even better than the other one. The other color was Mose “sophisticated” and muted on my lips but this one had a slightly brighter pop and it fits my skin tone even better!! 💕 😚Recommend? ✅✅ Again, I would absolutely recommend this product to people who dislike lipstick that dries out their lips, or lipstick that feels tacky and sticky. I also would recommend this to people who don’t really wear makeup and just want something subtle to give their lips some color. 😚Worth it? 💰 This product was also around $18 depending on where you buy it and I would say that it’s worth it! I’ve been using the 420 for so long and it’s still going strong! 💪🏼

Only $8.4! My go-to drugstore lip stain💄
Have you ever found yourself in situations when lip balms seem too light and boring, but lipsticks too heavy and high-maintenance? I usually opt for lip stains when I feel that way - still plenty of colour options, and often long-lasting. The best lip stain I’ve met so far is from Kiko Milano, the Italian brand with drugstore pricing. The lip stain I use most of the time is KIKO - Unlimited Double Touch #106 Satin Ruby Red, which I got on a sale at only $8.4. Its packaging is thoughtful and elegant-looking: with the metallic logo in the centre, the transparent tube holds the base colour at one end and lip gloss at the other. I love it for more than just that, however. Easy to apply. The packaging comes with two applicators: a angled one for the base colour to effortlessly create crisp lines and high-precision coverage, and a fibre one for the gloss that glides smoothly on lips. Two looks with one product. What makes this lip stain even more amazing is that you can wear it in two ways, depending on how you want your lips look! If you like a matte effect, just apply the colour base to moisturised lips and wait it to dry completely, which takes no more than a minute. The creamy ruby red lights up the whole face and makes the teeth look whiter. For a more plump-and pouty look, apply the top coat on top of the colour base, and your lips will instantly appear glossy and shiny! Long lasting & smudge proof. I’m impressed by how long the colour can last. I once ate and drank whilst wearing it, and after a whole day there was still even colour on my lips, providing pretty full coverage. It may fade a little - as would every kind of lip products - but evenly, no peeling or crumbling. Better yet, the formula is smudge-proof and doesn’t transfer, so you don’t have to worry about stains left on your coffee mug. If you want a very functional, trouble-saving lip stain with an affordable price, I strongly recommend this product as your daily go-to!

Life saver lip stain from no other but drugstore
I have recently fell in with my new lip stain. Surprisingly, it is not anything splendid or rare to find. It is a random drugstore lip stain that I normally tend to ignore. I got it only because I was in an urgency of finding lip stain that I thought I was only going to use once, so I decided to give pharmacy a try, instead of driving two blocks down to find a Sephora. As mentioned, I was not giving it much of a hope because I was only using it as for my rate care of emergency, which turned out to be a big surprise. Well, I did not carefully pick any brand, I just chose the first I saw that is close to the color I was expecting. This one I chose is Super Stay – Matte Ink from Maybelline, and the color is coded 170 and named “Initiator”, which is also a catch for me. From its package, it looks like a neutral pink; the color of the lip stain itself, however, is a little bit darker and reddish, which I think is very subtle among other colors I tried, but still enough to give your face a vibrant look overall. There are of course a few other things I love about it. The fragrance is not super strong or overwhelming. The vanilla scent is very soothing and yet rich and creamy so it last for a while. So as the color, it dries fast and perfectly stays on your lip for an entire day with drinking and eating and all over activities. I was very impressed by how persistent the lip stain is after a long day, which is worth its while for only 15 dollars. The main dissolvent of this product is dimethicone, a nonpoisonous and odorless clear liquid that can evenly dissolve and preserve the paints and keep it persistent on the skin. So far, it has been proven very safe for even sensitive skins. Moreover, another feature I like about it on top of all above is that this lip stain is actually very light and moisturizing. I had dry lips that week but this product made me forgot about it for that day.

My 3 Favourite Lipsticks
Lipsticks come in a huge variety, whether it be shades or textures, and I always have trouble choosing a favourite. However, as of lately, I’ve been loving and reaching towards these three lipsticks the most: Yves Saint Laurent Vernis À Lèvres Water Stain, Yves Saint Laurent Vernis A Levres Vinyl Cream Stain, and Sephora Collection Color Lip Last Lipstick. YSL Water Stain #610: This has been my favourite lipstick to use as the weather turns colder, and the leaves turns redder. This shade resembles a toned down, milk tea colour that matches perfectly with the autumn mood, so I have been using it daily. I love the texture of this lipstick because it is moisturizing, which has been helping my lips cope with the drying weather. What’s more surprising is that it is not heavy and sticky on the lips at all, unlike most glossy type lipsticks. Like its name, its finish is glossy but not overly tacky, just like your lips have been coated by a thin layer of water. However, due to its lightweight texture, it is not very long lasting and the colour transfers easily onto other objects. YSL Vinyl Cream Stain #416: I also love to use this product recently because of its sophisticated, rotten tomato shade that really compliments my skin tone (neutral). I tend to use it for more special occasions where I want to go for a more dramatic look. Similar to the Water Stain, it also gives a glossy finish, which I adore lately because it makes the lips look plump and healthy. However, it does feel heavier on the lips, but it is the most long lasting out of the three lipsticks because it stains the lips. I love the application because it glides on easily, blending smoothly onto the lips. Both YSL lipsticks smell like sweet candy, which is definitely a plus for me. Sephora Collection Color Lip Last Lipstick: Last but not least, this lipstick also made it into my top 3 list because I was pleasantly surprised by its texture and colour payoff. It feels like butter and glides right onto the lips. Also, it has amazing colour payoff. Normally, I only need to dab a little onto the lips, and one swipe is enough to deepen the colour. I love to use this when I want matte lips for a daily look, because of its beautiful dried rose shade, not to mention it also smells like sweet candy, which lightens my mood whenever I use it!

L'ORÉAL - Rouge Signature Matte Liquid Lipstick I am obsessed with lip stains! Lip stains are the unsung hero of the lipstick world, which have a much more comfortable and hydrating wear than lipsticks , living your lips both looking and feeling good. They can be purchased at the drugstore for wallet-friendly prices. Recently I found one new pleasant- L'Oréal Rouge Signature Matte Lip Stain. It’s amazing in many aspects. And the point is that you can get such a great lip stain at a highly low price, about 9 dollars. I bought the shade titled I Explore in a drugstore, a lovely colour that reveals your tenderness. When I first applied it, I love it! The thin and watery formula makes me feel super light weight on my lips. The color is stunning and can give you absolutely desired color intensity. It goes on so easily and really soft at first, and I could feel it moisturizing my lips as I put it on. Once it dries, it adjusts to your skin color and looks flawless. Without the thick dry feeling, it just feels like wearing no lipstick once it’s set. Then after a couple of hours of use, it is still on there and won't fade away like other matte lipsticks . It also lasts through meals or drinks, so you don't need constant reapplication. The brush is a little differently shaped than I am used to. The applicator is very convienient as it helps shape and line lips for a precise and perfectly applied lip, without an additional need of a lip liner. Usually I will put a chapstick on, wait a few seconds then apply a second coat. But for this product, you could apply it alone without first coat, because of it’s wet enough. I can't wait to try and buy other colors!
