Laser: Is It Worth The Buzz?
Laser: Is It Worth The Buzz?
I started doing laser about 7 years ago when it was still very much buzzing. I knew a lot of people around me who had started doing it and I had done some research about it. I was kind of afraid about hearing things like it would mess up my hormones or that some people would remove the hair and it would start coming out on other different spots on their bodies. Long story short I decided to take the leap and I started doing treatments for my underarms and bikini area. The thing I first noticed even just after the very first treatment is that all my ingrown hairs were gone! It was amazing! Even though the hair’s growth rate or thickness hadn’t yet been affected by the treatment but it was growing in a better way and I did not have any ingrown hairs anymore which I had a problem with in my underarm area. My underarms started to get lighter in color and it was just lovely. The thing with laser is that it gives you an amazing feels of being refreshed and clean seeing as you are almost always hairless, and even when the hair does come out it is much thinner and you can barely notice it’s there. I don’t think my hair will ever completely stop growing seeing as I’ve been doing treatments all these years and it still grows back, however it depends on each body, the skin color and how pigmented or coarse the hair is. The ideal body for laser treatment is one with light skin and very coarse and dark hair. For me, I get sessions done every 4-5 months which to me I feel is cost effective and is totally worth it! The cost of laser nowadays is very reasonable seeing as how much competition there is unlike when it first started and there weren’t many clinics that did it. Now that everyone wants a cut on the action, they all cut down their prices which is better for you as the client! Would I recommend laser for you? The answer is the same for everything. It depends on you and your body. How much maintenance you usually require to remove your hair and how much of a priority you think it is and if you think it’s worth it for you! Think of all the different factors involved and you can make the right decision for your own body! :)

And woke up like this 😂😂 You guys I tried laser resurfacing today! I couldn’t take any pics or vids of the actual laser because I had on goggles... plus it hurt so much I had to concentrate on not crying 😂 so this pic of me is during the cooling after care, a nice tea tree molding mask. What do you want to know about lasers! Post on it coming soon for Cherie!
