Clear improvement ✨
Origins clear improvement mask is ultra purifying to help deep clean AND visibility reduce your pores. However, I don’t believe you can reduce your pores size, this mask will most definitely suck out those nasties toxins and oils for a cleaner face. I always find myself reaching for another one of these when I run out of them! This one is probably my fourth one. I do own a large collection of masks but I ALWAYS find myself reaching out for this one. It has a very nice and cooling sensation, and spreads like a dream ✨ This is recommended for most skin types, however if your sensitive id sit this one out. It can be a bit too strong for you. This product is formulated without a list over 50 ingredients like sulfates, parabens and phthalates. You can buy this at Sephora for $26 for a 2.5 oz which is amazing because this should last you a while. I recommend to use this max 2-3 times a week. OILY/ACNE SKIN FAVS!!
‼️ If you have oily skin or are prone to breakouts, check out these ingredients that are beneficial to your skin and will not clog your pores. Hyaluronic Acid – Although this name has ‘acid’ in it, this ingredient does not exfoliate your skin, but hydrates it. HA is found naturally in the body and referred to as a GAG (Glycosaminoglycan). For the skin, it acts as a humectant making it a magnet. 💧 Hyaluronic Acid binds moisture to the skin 1,000 times better than water, leaving your skin plumped and hydrated. This is great for oily skin because it helps maintain a good water-oil balance. You can use this product daily. I recommend SKIN SCRIPT - Ageless Hydrating Serum 👌🏼 Niacinamide – AKA Vitamin B3, not to be confused with Niacin. This is a popular ingredient seen in many acne skin care products because of all the great benefits it has to offer. It reduces inflammation, regulates oil production, helps minimize appearance of pores, treats acne, helps reduce pigmentation and protects your barrier form environmental and UV damage. This is a SUPERSTAR ingredient that can be used daily. 😍 Salicylic Acid – Salicylic Acid is mainly derived from Willow Bark 🌳 , but SHOULD NOT be used if you are allergic to ASPIRIN. This is a Beta-Hydroxy Acid that is oil based and goes into your pores for a deep cleanse. Oil attracts oil, so this acid is great for oily skin by unclogging your pores and eliminating whiteheads and blackheads. This acid also exfoliates your skin leaving it brighter by removing dead skin cells and should only be used up 3 times per week and always followed by 🧴. I recommend this cleanser for acneic skin SKIN SCRIPT - Raspberry Refining Cleanser Benzoyl Peroxide – If you feel a breakout coming on or have an active pustule, put some BP on your skin. This ingredient will dry out your acne, so just use it for spot treating and not over your whole face or you will dry it out. BP is antimicrobial, so it will kill bacteria causing acne. As always, read the instructions on your product to see how long you should keep it on your skin for. This is a great product to apply to your breakouts! SKIN SCRIPT - Blemish Spot Treatment Ice – Good ol’ 🧊 will help reduce any inflammation and redness caused by acne, so grab a cube from your freezer or fridge door and apply to the affected area. 👀 Other ingredients to reduce acne that are not mentioned include charcoal, tea tree oil, argan oil, mandelic acid and a few more. blackheads? large pores? this is for YOU
COSRX - BHA Blackhead Power Liquid I received this product from the cherie best post leaderboard and I am so happy that this was the prize !! I have oily skin with large pores and blackheads all in my t zone. I have tried so many products, and although I have only been using this for a few days, I have high hopes and have already seen some results. ingredients willow bark water (controls oil and redness) betaine salicylate (fights bacteria and cleans clogged pores) niacinamide (brightens skin and improves appearance of pores) what this product claims to do gentle exfoliates dead skin cells refines the look of enlarged pores keeps pores clean of impurities my experience this is definitely a first impressions post since i’ve only used this product a few times, BUT, I am seeing progress !!! whenever I use this product, my pores look cleaner (almost a matte look) and my skin feels softer. this product is a BHA (beta hydroxy acid), so it is oil soluble and works beneath the skin to target impurities. a little definitely goes a long way !! it has a water like consistency and one pump can easily cover my whole face. it doesn’t sting or irritate my skin either! on the box, it says to start using it once a week and then increase to 2-3 times a week as you feel needed. however, i’ve been using it both day and night most days because this product is not only super gentle, but my skin is also very used to BHA’s. I am so excited to see how this product will continue to work in the future and I will definitely post another update on how it’s been working for me. ULTA- $24 for 3.38oz

Please help! Large pores and blackheads
My skin has been improving so much since I started taking care of it recently. But one thing that I’ve always had is super large pores and blackheads on my nose and cheeks. I have no idea how to shrink them down or if this is just my face?? 😂 As far as the blackheads, I’m lost. Can I get rid of them with skincare products? Or do I have to use a tool to remove them? I got my first facial a few weeks ago (dermaplane) and she wanted me to come back to do an extraction, so I’m hoping this also helps. Any advice is welcomed! I am new to this and still trying to figure out my skin. 💛 Thanks in advance!
Retinol Alternative Serum for Pores & More
I received this OLE HENRIKSEN - Glow Cycle Retin-Alt Power Serum as a gift, and was very intrigued! This serum is a little thicker than most - it’s not super watery. It also has a fruity scent. This product claims to reduce pores, tighten fine lines, and brighten the skin. I used this at night before applying my moisturizer for a few weeks, and did notice a difference. My skin looked smoother overall, which was great, because I do have large pores! My only gripe with this serum is that it leaves my skin feeling a little sticky. I’ve used products that are worse in that department, but it still bothers me. At $58 for 1 oz, it is a pricey product. However, I have found that a little goes a long way, and it works well even if it is used every other day. I do recommend this to all, especially if you are looking for a product with AHAs and bakuchiol (a retinol alternative). This serum gets 4/5 Stars!

Sorry for the bad lighting btw😂 I have been struggling recently with large pores. I am not very knowledgeable in the skincare world so I need some advice. Is there any products I should use? How can I make my pores look smaller?? ( Note: my skin does not react well to the ordinary. Many people have recommended it but it didn’t go well for me 😕 Does anyone knows of any products BESIDE the ordinary?? Thanks!))

My Mental Wellness Improved Through My Self AcceptanceWhen I was around 13 or 14 years old, I remember routinely taking one of my older sister’s black eyeliner pencils before school every morning. I’d arrive early so that I could slip away to the girl’s bathroom to apply a single black line to my eyelids. My parents didn’t allow me to wear any makeup at the time. Although this smudgy line on my eyelids didn’t make me look all that much different, I never felt comfortable at school without it. My teenage mind convinced myself that I needed some sort of cosmetic symbol in order to appropriately express my femininity. Up until that point in my life, society had told girls that looked like me - tall, Black, and with kinky hair - that we somehow weren’t as beautiful as the other girls. For far too long, I believed it too.Feb. 17
