Conditioning Japanese Gel
Conditioning Japanese Gel
naturie - Hatomugi Skin Conditioning Gel Hatomugi Skin Conditioning Gel is a conditioning gel as the name suggests. Its not a moisturizer but supposed to be used before moisturizer or as a type of serum. It contains Job’s Tear extract which is its main and selling moisturizing ingredient. It’s super lightweight and perfect for every skin type. Where people will freak out is when I say this contains parabens. Yes that’s right. And I still find it good. It’s in a such low percentage that I really don’t care. Is this my main source of moisture though? No. But do I still like the gel? Yes! It moisturizes so well and leaves the skin so plump. It’s such a best seller in Japan and has won multiple awards over there. The price point isn’t bad and it’s a totally neutral and nice step in a skincare routine. For people not scared of preservatives, yes I would still recommend this gel. Again, is it my favorite? No. But it’s damn good. 🤷🏻‍♀️

🇯🇵J-Beauty: Curél Moisture Facial Milk 🇯🇵
🇯🇵J-Beauty: Curél Moisture Facial Milk 🇯🇵
Curél - Moisture Facial Milk About me 🤗 and the product 🇯🇵Skin type/skin tone I have combination skin. My t-zone is in the range of normal to oily skin and I have dry skin on my cheeks. My skin tone is warm ivory with a slight reddish discoloration in my cheeks 🧐I also have some freckles across my cheeks and my nose bridge. 🇯🇵Product function The product claims to leave sensitive skin feeling soft and moisturized 💦. 🇯🇵Texture/consistency The texture and consistency is a slightly viscous runny white milk 🥛 🇯🇵Packaging The packaging is a nice and sturdy glass pump bottle with a plastic cap. The pump allows for to product to easily come out and is easily controllable. With the plastic cap over the pump, there has been no leakage problems. Beauty story 📖 🇯🇵Overall experience As stated in the previous post in the SANA product review, the Japanese use a 2-step routine. Read my previous post if you want to learn about their secret to such great hydrated skin! 😉 Anyways, I wanted to try out this routine so I added this product to my nightly routine. After using a face wash, I use the lotion then this product, the milk/ moisturizer. 🇯🇵Verdict ❤️ I really like this product since it’s so milky and is not heavy on the skin at all. It provides the skin with intensive moisture despite how thin the product is. After using this, my skin feels comfortable and well hydrated. Even though I like floral smells, I like how this product is fragrance free. It is also alcohol free so doesn’t irritate the skin at all! With only a few pumps my skin feels soft and hydrated 💧. 🇯🇵Recommend? ✅ I would recommend this to people with any skin type since it does provide intensive hydration, i dont feel like it clogs the pores at all and it surely didn’t cause any breakouts in my oily areas of my face. I most definitely recommend this product to people with sensitive skin since it is pH balanced, fragrance free, and alcohol free. 🇯🇵Worth it? 💰💰 The product is slightly on the pricier end since it costs $30 for 120mL, however, I feel like it absolutely worth the time and money! My face has been feeling so dewy and soft. My skin has also brightened up and feels absolutely hydrated 💦

J-BEAUTY FAVES: BLACK LIPGLOSS?!
J-BEAUTY FAVES: BLACK LIPGLOSS?!
UZ - 38°C/99°F LIP TREATMENT This gloss is unbelievable!!! It looks crazy intimidating in the tube, but when you apply it to the lips, it just adds the most beautiful wash of color that deepens your lips by a shade. There is no fragrance, the shimmer is subtle and flattering and it’s not sticky! This “gloss” is marketed as a lip treatment that’s supposed to replace your lip balm. I wouldn’t go so far to say that it has, but I can definitely feel the difference between this and a gloss that dries out my lips. This shade, -4 (degrees Celsius), is supposed to mimic the shade that your lips natural become when in that temperature. I love the way this gloss looks on my lips and definitely want to pick up more shades- the green looks interesting! 👀

Pink Lululun!
Pink Lululun!
LuLuLun - Face Mask Pink Lululun is a famous sheet mask brand in Japan. This is my favorite kind from them! It’s their pink version that’s supposed to moisturize and keep skin balanced. It does both and I really like these masks! It comes in a big box like this since it’s for daily use! You get 36 sheets in here! A super steal. I think in the US they’re priced at $25 but in Japan it’s around $15. Either way I think it’s a good price and recommend these for people interested in jbeauty, want to cut a deal on sheet masks or is a sheet mask lover. You can add this to your daily routine as well to add the moisture in! I pop these in my mini fridge, that gives them the nice cooling effect whenever I use them as a part of my routine. They moisturize well and every sheet mask is soaked in essence in that little box.

J-Beauty Canmake Marshmallow Finish Foundation
J-Beauty Canmake Marshmallow Finish Foundation
Canmake is another popular drugstore beauty brand from Japan. Their base make up is wildly popular in Asia as are their affordable line of cheek, eye and lip colors. What is it? Canmake Marshmallow Finish Foundation with SPF50 PA++++ From the website: * A smooth, fine-textured powder softly envelops your skin, making pores and other forms of uneven skin texture less noticeable. * Creates a marshmallow-soft finish that never feels thick or heavy. * Contains 10 types of beauty ingredients - Beautifying and moisturizing agents: aloe vera leaf extract, rosemary leaf extract, chamomile flower extract, lemon fruit extract
- Skin-toning agents: horse chestnut extract, perilla leaf extract
- Emollient agents: squalane, olive fruit oil, jojoba seed oil, grapeseed oil My thoughts: A beauty blogger friend loved hers and I also saw that they were selling supersized versions of the finishing powder at Narita Airport! (It has to be good then! :D) I picked this up at my local J-Beauty store here in LA. It was really affordable - I think I got this for USD15? Even though it’s a foundation, it goes on light and smooth. It did as promised and wasn’t heavy or sticky. I liked that it was so easy to use and compact enough to take with me. The only down side is that the color range is limited. It only came in 3 colors: Matt Beige Ochre, Matt Light Ochre and Matt Ochre. I was actually surprised that I could use the color as I am olive skinned. But the powder goes on smooth and blends with the skin so it worked well. The coverage was light and very natural - so this means it does not cover all blemishes unless you layer multiple layers. I tend to have a light hand with make up and often don’t even wear make up, so it worked fine for me. It left me enough of a positive impression that I want to try more of their products. Would I recommend it? Yes, if the color suits you! CANMAKE - Marshmallow Finish Foundation with SPF 50 PA ++++
