Mario Badescu Facial Spray
W/ Aloe, Chamomile, and Lavender- I honestly had mixed feelings about this. My redness is one of my issues when it comes to my skin, so when I saw that this has ingredients to calm my skin I decided to try it. Pros: it worked great as a refresher when my skin needed it and good for after make up cause of the fine mist. Cons: the first few days of trying this my skin got more red, felt very irritated. Although my skin was irritated at first I kept being consistent to see if maybe it would go away with time and consistency which IT DID. This product smells relaxing, is not too expensive and makes my face feell more moisturized for my combination skin. ALWAYS A + MARIO BADESCU - Facial Spray with Aloe, Chamomile and Lavender

It’s more Acwell today, y’all! 👍🏾 Got this full size of their Licorice pH Balancing Essence Mist Soko Glam Gym Set and I love it even more than the toner. 😍 I’m a sucker for mists. They’re convenient, quick, and prep the skin perfectly for other products. This one is no exception. 💯 It’s hydrating without being sticky. It helps wake your skin up if you’re looking tired & is soothing if your skin is feeling irritated. ✔️ There’s no fragrance which is a bonus for those with sensitivities. Plus, I love that you can use it 3 ways: an essence, a refresher mist, or to set your makeup. 🙌🏾

The only mist you need for sensitive skin!! 😍
I have been trying out the @eauthermaleaveneca Thermal Spring Water for a few weeks and I am in love with it! 💦 If you are a sensitive skin girl like me you need this mist in your life! I tend to stay away from misting sprays due to their alcohol content but the Avene Spring Water only has two ingredients (Spring Water and Nitrogen) How amazing is that? The Thermal Spring Water is a naturally soothing source for sensitive skin and its unique composition is clinically shown by over 150 studies to calm, soothe, and soften the skin. It is ideal for red, sensitive, irritated skin. It is perfect for post-workout, travel, outdoor activities, and to freshen up your makeup. The Avene Thermal Spring Water claims to: Soothe, soften, and calm skin Reduces skin sensitivity and helps restore skin balance Soothes redness Calms Itching sensations It also has low mineral content so does not dry out the skin and a neutral pH of 7.5 I have been using the spray to freshen up my makeup, after my workouts, as well as on hot days to soothe my skin. Since I have rosacea my skin tends to get red and irritated quickly and the @eauthermaleavencaca thermal water has done wonders at keeping my skin calm. feel instant relief after misting it on my face. I highly recommended picking it up and giving it a try!

SOS (save our skin) to the rescue!
This clean product by Tower 28 is so unique; the website states that it’s for safe for all skin types, safe for all ages & anywhere on the skin! It also has the National Eczema Association's Seal of Acceptance! And I LOVE IT! It’s a “Daily Rescue Facial Spray”, yet it doesn’t smell like much, only has 3 ingredients, and really feels like my skin enjoys it! 💃🏽 Ingredients; • water • sodium chloride • hypochlorous acid (stimulates healing & helps defend your body against harmful bacteria) It says you can use AM/PM; Use throughout the day & post-workouts I like to use before I put serums on! (I heard it’s good to moisten your skin before hydrating serums like Hyaluronic Acid) $12 for 1oz OR $28 for 4oz (I have the 1oz!) (from website); “When applied to the skin, HOCl triggers an immune boost, which then signals your body to repair and heal irritated skin. This unique solution is pH balanced (4.5) and formulated for facial skin, but is safe to use on all ages and anywhere on your skin!” 10/10 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

This beauty deserves a post of its very own. The youthtothepeople Adaptogen Soothe + Hydrate Activated Mist is the ultra-fine mist of my dreams. My skin has been particularly finicky and this baby instantly calms any redness that I may have. I consider it to be more of a light serum than a basic mist. With reishi, ashwaganda, pentapeptide, and hyaluronic acid, this mist is designed to seriously soothe and heal reactive or irritated skin. It’s a little bit of magic in a bottle and it will most definitely become a permanent addition to my skincare collection. 🍄

Healing My Skin with a New, Simplified Routine
With my forehead acne that has struggled to surface for weeks along with large pores and irritated skin, I decided to reach out to my cousin who is an esthetician for some product recommendations. As a result, I’m trying out a new simplified skincare routine with some product suggestions from OSEA that she recommended! After healing and repairing my skin as suggested, I do want to look into additional products that were recommended in my previous post. So, onto the products I’m now using! DHC - Deep Cleansing Oil I use this in the PM 🌃 only if I need to take off makeup. I use a cotton ball to remove any eye makeup and rub additional oil onto the rest of my face to thoroughly remove all makeup (including long-staying lipstick). It does a good job of removing makeup and I always follow this with a cleanser (double cleansing). OSEA - Ocean Cleanser I use this in the AM and PM 🌇🌃 It contains lactic acid which is the gentlest of the acids which is great for my more sensitive skin. Because it’s so gentle, you won’t get that intense foaming effect as you might expect from “other” cleansers. However, this cleanser left my face feeling incredibly clean and soft, but not stripped. OSEA - Sea Minerals Mist I use this in the AM and PM 🌇🌃 This mist is gentle and contains aloe. I use this as a toner after cleansing my face. Hanskin - Hyaluron Skin Essence I use this in the AM and PM 🌇🌃 This hyaluronic acid based serum is very gentle and leaves my skin feeling hydrated and plump. OSEA - Atmosphere Protection Cream I use this in the AM and PM 🌇🌃 This moisturizer is light and leaves skin feeling moisturized without feeling oily! Haven’t used it underneath my makeup yet, but I imagine it would perform well since it really soaks into the skin. LA ROCHE-POSAY - Anthelios 60 Face & Body Melt in Sunscreen Milk SPF 60 I only use this in the AM 🌇 This sunscreen works well and rubs in easily. However, it does leave my skin feeling a bit oily. Any recommendations for another SPF is welcome! Have you tried any of these products? If so, please share your thoughts and experience along with any recommendations you might have (looking for a new eye cream)!
