Hyaluronic acid face cream & gel

The Sephora collection super matte moisturizer is an oil controlling and mattifying face moisturizer and primer. It is for oily and combination skin, and targets shine with hyaluronic acid and mattifying powder. It has a lightweight gel-cream texture and a pleasant smell. I got this as a gift for my birthday last year but only used it a few times. I am undecided as to whether this is a good product or not. It works well at first, and leaves skin very smooth. However, the effects wear off very quickly and it feels a bit overly drying, dispite the hyaluronic acid. I would recommend this is only I f you have combination skin because it is a delicate balance between overly drying and mattifying. It would not work well on very oily or very dry skin. This is only worth it if you have combination skin and know this works for you. Otherwise, get a cheaper primer because it most likely will have the same effect as this for a lower price. glow recipe pink juice moisturizer
How cute are those watermelon emojis?! Today I’ll be reviewing the GLOW RECIPE - Watermelon Glow Pink Juice Moisturizer ! Claims: — plumping — soothing — good for all skin types — hydrating Key Ingredients: — watermelon extract — hyaluronic acid — peony & jasmine My overall thoughts: — $39 for 60ml or $21 for 25ml — smells like fresh watermelon in July! — not for all skin types at all, I have normal to oily skin and this was hardly enough hydrating for me! I recommend using this as a serum instead. — i thought that since its very fragranced it would be irritating, but it hasn’t been! — a little tacky upon application but after I apply a moisturizer it goes away. — would not repurchase as it’s not hydrating enough as a moisturizer and overkill as a serum; I much prefer basic hydration!

💦Key ingredient- hyaluronic acid 💦what is hyaluronic acid used for?(function and effects)- alleviating dry skin, reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles and speeding up wound healing. 💦why do I like this ingredient- Hyaluronic acid is a frequent component in acnetreatment systems, and it really helps to treat any acne I get on my face! 💦does hyaluronic acid really work in the peter Thomas roth cloud cream and the youth to the people kale and spinach green tea moisturizer? Yes definitely I see huge results! In the Peter Thomas Roth moisturizer I see big results in my fine lines and wrinkles! It also helps amazing with acne! And the youth to the people really helps with dryness on my skin! 💦advantages and disadvantages of the Peter Thomas Roth cloud cream- a good thing is that the texture is absolutely amazing it is so refreshing on the skin and it feels exactly like a fluffy and moisturizing cloud on your face! The effects on my fine lines and acne are amazing! And one disadvantage is that it is very pricy it is $52! 💦advantages and disadvantages of the Youth to the people kale and spinach cream- the texture is amazing and keeps my skin hydrated all night or all day depending on when I use it! Also another advantage is that it is 2oz which is a great size for a moisturizer! A disadvantage is that it is $48 which is a little more pricey then other moisturizers! 💦I absolutely love using these products and will always continue to use them even though they are more pricey, they do what I want them to do to my skin which makes me happy! I think my favorite and my preference is the youth to the people kale and spinach cream because it is super hydrating for my super dry skin and feels super refreshing on my skin, it also smells super fresh and is very pleasant! 🥀fresh Rose Cream w/time-release ‘hydropatches‘
I was using this face cream for about a year & hadn’t noticed any issues until a couple months ago. I may not have been paying close enough attention before, or it became an issue over time... 🚨REDNESS🚨 fresh - Rose & Hyaluronic Acid Deep Hydration Moisturizer A lot of things about this cream are great... the texture is a medium weight gel-cream that smells like a lovely bouquet of roses. It absorbs nicely with a slightly dewy finish & truly does offer lasting hydration. My issue is a redness reaction I get immediately after applying. I’ve experimented with different products underneath it & also determined the irritation is not physical (from rubbing in) 💔I took some photos today (this will be my last time using it on my face! Ever! I did this for you guys🥰) As you can see, it didn’t do the same thing to my arm... So definitely something to consider when patch testing products, the skin on your face will possibly behave differently than other areas of skin on your body, like your arm. There are more capillaries on your face & the skin is thinner. So my face gets really red, especially my cheeks & jaw area— Though it does dissipate, my skin obviously isn’t happy, so I stopped using it. When I read some reviews of the product, I found a few individuals with the same issue. One thought it could be a reaction to the rose oil. I thought I’d had a good track record with rose oils, but I’ve heard that some can find it irritating. 🌹*in the photos, my “before” is about 30 minutes after washing my face, toning, serum & eye cream. The “after” photo is immediately after applying the fresh Rose Cream. This contains both extract & oil of the Damask Rose, as well as Plum seed oil, Cucumber extract & Ashitaba: a species of flowering plant in the carrot family, native to Japan. It also has the smaller molecular form of Hyaluronic Acid, Sodium Hyaluronate as well as Vitamin E. 🚨Due to my reaction I think I’ll just finish this off as a body cream, why not? Has anyone else had this reaction? Or know which ingredient may be causing it? (I don’t usually have any reactions to products with fragrance ftr)

first aid beauty Ultra Repair BarriAIR Cream, a whipped , moussey Moisturizer for normal and combination skin types. ☁️ Key Ingredients: Ceramides (skin barrier strengthening), linoleic acid (fatty acid in skin barrier), licorice extract (brightening), hyaluronic acid (hydration). No fragrance (and no weird smells), which I love - the brand’s Ultra Repair Cream has a funky smell to me, but this one is pleasantly neutral. ☁️Experience: This has a cloud-like texture that emulsifies into a gel on application. It actually leaves a matte feeling, which I like in the morning for makeup application, even without a primer. It’s not the most hydrating moisturizer, so I would recommend this for normal to combination skin types in the spring and summer; It won’t cut it out alone in the winter. ☁️VERDICT: This is a good product. It’s reasonably priced at $30 for 1.5oz at firstaidbeauty and sephora, and it’s light as air but not *too* light.
FIRST AID BEAUTY-Ultra Repair BarriAIR Cream Safe for Sensitive Skin
Key ingredient Hyaluronic Acid
Skin type: light with rosacea and dry skin Age:40 The key ingredient for both these products is hyaluronic acid. Unsure what of what hyaluronic acid is, think of it as a BIG drink of water for your skin. Its natural & helps alleviate dry skin, helps with breakouts, smooths fine lines & wrinkles. With rosacea I tend to have dry skin and break out easy. That’s why I love products with hyaluronic acid in them. HA makes your skin super soft and hydrated and perfect for people with sensitive skin. How well does hyaluronic acid work in H20 and cloud cream? They both leave your face feeling equally soft, refreshed and hydrated well into the next day. With cloud cream seemed to smooth out my fine lines better than H20. Advantage and disadvantage of cloud cream? Cloud Cream texture feels amazing, light almost like water, it sinks right into your skin. You can instantly feel the added moisture layer. Another advantage is that it smooths out my fine lines. The only Disadvantage is the price $52.00 Advantage and disadvantage of Tarte H2O? H20 texture feels close too cloud cream light watery, non greasy, it’s just a little thicker in consistency. While cloud cream has no scent, H20 has a amazing smell like cucumbers. You can feel your face being instantly hydrated as you massage it in. It is a great price at $39.00. Disadvantage: I feel that it doesn’t smooth out my fine lines as well as cloud cream. I love both products and feel that both equally hydrate your skin but I will be repurchasing Peter Roth’s cloud cream because I feel it does a better job smoothing out my fine lines .PETER THOMAS ROTH - Water Drench Hyaluronic Cloud Cream tarte - SEA limited-edition drink of H2O hydrating boost

My Mental Wellness Improved Through My Self AcceptanceWhen I was around 13 or 14 years old, I remember routinely taking one of my older sister’s black eyeliner pencils before school every morning. I’d arrive early so that I could slip away to the girl’s bathroom to apply a single black line to my eyelids. My parents didn’t allow me to wear any makeup at the time. Although this smudgy line on my eyelids didn’t make me look all that much different, I never felt comfortable at school without it. My teenage mind convinced myself that I needed some sort of cosmetic symbol in order to appropriately express my femininity. Up until that point in my life, society had told girls that looked like me - tall, Black, and with kinky hair - that we somehow weren’t as beautiful as the other girls. For far too long, I believed it too.Feb. 17
