Fenty Skin Journey - Total Cleans’r
So, it’s been 2 weeks since I’ve received all 3 of my Fenty Skin products. Since the products came out there have been mixed reviews. Due to fragrance being in all 3 of the products, many people have been seeing dry, textured, skin after a few days of usage. For me, it’s been going a bit different: In the first couple days of me using the Total Cleans’r Remove-It-All Cleanser, I noticed that my skin was becoming more textured. I had grown a bunch of tiny little bumps around my chin area and on my cheeks closer to my nose. This really concerned me because after watching reviews a lot of people who claimed to have sensitive skin were the main ones with issues. I never thought my skin to be sensitive so when this started happening I thought maybe I knew nothing about my skin at all 🤷🏾♀️. Fast forward to using the cleanser now, my skin responds by being more supple and softer like Rih keeps saying in all her tutorial videos. I’ve also been trying out this new technique where I don’t dry my face off and I rinse my face with cold water. After doing this with the Total Cleans’r, I found that my enlarged pores on my cheeks around my nose looked as if they were filling out. They weren’t completely gone but they seemed to be a bit more shrunken. Rihanna also speaks of the Cleans’r doing a great job of not completely drying out the skin after a wash and I would agree with that to a certain degree. Definitely feels more hydrating than most cleansers I’ve used in my lifetime. Still I would recommend this more for people with oily skin because I have oily skin and the product still dries me out just a little so I couldn’t imagine how it works in dry skin. Lastly, things I just disagree with completely would be to use this cleanser as a makeup remover. My skin is not sensitive to the fragrance in the product but using it to get rid of mascara and concealer really leaves my eyes irritated and I think that’s because of the fragrance. And overall, the peachy smell of the cleanser is just not my favorite. It’s not overpowering at all but it surely just isn’t something I care much for. Smells very perfumy to me. All in all: I love the Total Cleans’r and recommend it to my oily skinn’ed people and think it’s worth the $25 FENTY SKIN - Total Cleans'r Remove-It-All Cleanser

blackheads? large pores? this is for YOU
COSRX - BHA Blackhead Power Liquid I received this product from the cherie best post leaderboard and I am so happy that this was the prize !! I have oily skin with large pores and blackheads all in my t zone. I have tried so many products, and although I have only been using this for a few days, I have high hopes and have already seen some results. ingredients willow bark water (controls oil and redness) betaine salicylate (fights bacteria and cleans clogged pores) niacinamide (brightens skin and improves appearance of pores) what this product claims to do gentle exfoliates dead skin cells refines the look of enlarged pores keeps pores clean of impurities my experience this is definitely a first impressions post since i’ve only used this product a few times, BUT, I am seeing progress !!! whenever I use this product, my pores look cleaner (almost a matte look) and my skin feels softer. this product is a BHA (beta hydroxy acid), so it is oil soluble and works beneath the skin to target impurities. a little definitely goes a long way !! it has a water like consistency and one pump can easily cover my whole face. it doesn’t sting or irritate my skin either! on the box, it says to start using it once a week and then increase to 2-3 times a week as you feel needed. however, i’ve been using it both day and night most days because this product is not only super gentle, but my skin is also very used to BHA’s. I am so excited to see how this product will continue to work in the future and I will definitely post another update on how it’s been working for me. ULTA- $24 for 3.38oz

Derm Tips for the Ordinary Peeling Solution
The Ordinary - AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution The Ordinary Peeling Solution is one of the best products you can buy for less than $10. When used correctly, there are so many benefits to this product! Here’s my review of the product with safety tips first. Safety Tips: -If you are new to skincare, this product is not for beginners. You want to have a consistent skin care routine for at least a month before adding this in -Patch test an area on your inner arm prior to applying this to the face. I’ve seen many people end up with chemical burns from this product -For first time use, use only for 5 minutes prior to washing off with water -Do not apply this on the same night as other strong actives (retinoids, other acids) -For darker skin types, glycolic acid in this product can lead to hyperpigmentation if used for too long. Do not use longer than 5 minutes if you are prone to hyperpigmentation Benefits: -Exfoliates the skin -Improves skin texture -Improves skin tone -Helps fight acne -Improves acne scars -Makes pores less obvious -Improves fine lines and wrinkles -Fades hyperpigmentation How to apply: 1. See safety tips above 2. Wash face with gentle cleanser 3. Apply to finger tips 4. Apply to dry skin in treatment areas 5. Leave on for 5-10 minutes 6. Wash off with water 7. Pat dry Conclusions: I absolutely love this product and I highly recommend it. However, I’ve seen people injure themselves badly from using this product incorrectly. Follow the safety tips above and you will see so many benefits to your skin. This is a product that I personally love & use in my routine!

How to Treat Orange Peel Skin (Enlarged Pores)
Muffin top, crows feet, lunch lady arms… we have become so creative in coming up with ways to describe our body and the aging process. “Orange peel skin” is just another dramatic description of what our skin may look like as enlarged pores creep up on us. As we age, our skin loses collagen and elasticity, making our pores look more obvious. I was reckless with my skin in my early 20s so as a result, I have visibly enlarged pores on my cheeks and throughout my t-zone. For the past several years I have been experimenting to figure out the best way to “treat” my enlarged pores and have found some goodies to share with you. I have normal to dry skin, but these products would work on any skin type since the active ingredients are mild. First off, there is no such thing as reducing your pore size. Products claiming to “shrink your pores” are simply marketing to our insecurities. It is possible, however, to reduce the appearance of your pores but it’s important to note that distinction. To treat the appearance of my “orange peel” skin, I focus on keeping my pores clean, skin hydrated and treat from within. 1. For keeping my pores clean I love the PACIfICA - Sea Purify Balancing Clay Mask. Clay and charcoal work together to unclog and detox pores within minutes. The kelp and green tea further help to cleanse the skin and at $15, it’s a steal. 2. After clearing out your pores, plump your skin back to its youth with hyaluronic acid. I love the GOOD MOLECULES - Hyaluronic Acid Serum which does as good of a job as any at only $6! 3. Lastly, I use HVMN Keto Collagen+ for quality collagen peptides and to balance out my diet.
