Desire luscious Wavy hair? Use these Five Techniques
Most people, if not everyone, love changing up their look once in a while to get beautiful wavy hair. You can both dress it up or dress it down making it perfect for any kind of occasion.
I tested this heatless Curling Tool
Today I want to share my secrete tool for this heatless curl look. This technique I’ve seen trending all over the internet. I also see really horrendous results. I’ve been hesitated for a while. But how bad it could be? Worst cases, I’ll just turn it into a bun. This tool is surprisingly working well. And from practice, I noticed that it is also the prep you did with your hair. I want to share some of my hacks to create this heatless curl look. This tool I got on Ebay. It is like a dupe for curl foamers. Curl foamers have been around for a long time. A regular pack is around 50 dollars. These I got it only for $15 for a whole pack. But it took over 1 month for shipment. These curls comes in 2 colors. Mine is blue and yellow. The reason why is it in to colors I think is because thy spiral in different directions. There are around 40 pieces in a whole bag. I have regular hair and it works well for me. It may not be enough for thick hair in my opinion. It also came with a stick that you can grab your hair and pull it through the curlers. The curlers are like strings and there is a rubber like openings on each end where your hair is suppose to go in with the help of the stick. It is best to use this tool on damp hair. I let my hair dry to 60%. When I did it I just kind of combine the 2 colors together one after the other, alternating on each side to create this kind of natural curls. I dont want to ended up with spring like firm curls. I have to say this whole process is time consuming. Literally, it took me one hour to put it on and I was super tired after finishing the whole head. I kept it on for 4 hours since my hair is neutral. But if you got soft hair or you want your hair supper curly, you might want to let it stay longer or even over night. I am happy with the result. It is supper curly when i took it off, but after brushing it is this soft wavy look which I really like. To conclude, this tool is fun and helps to create good curls with no heat damage. The down side is that it is time consuming when you put it on and you cannot do many things with this on. Overall it is a fun experience.
Overnight Waves Tutorial
I am allllll about overnight hair styles. Gone are the days where I regularly use heat tools to style my hair. Every once in a while I’ll do it, but for everyday I can’t be bothered! Heatless styles are also great for reducing heat damage and breakage. This is a tutorial for my preferred overnight waves using two twists. This style works best for wavy and straight hair types. About my hair: thick, naturally wavy/curly, frizzy, dry What you’ll need: -comb -small elastic bands -leave-in spray -styling cream/gel/mousse -finishing spray/hairspray Steps: 1. Start with damp hair. 2. Apply leave-in conditioner and disperse through your hair with a comb or fingers. 3. Apply your preferred styling product(s). This will help your hair hold the style’s shape. 4. Either air dry your hair or wrap in a towel for about 15-30 min (less if your hair is fine, more if your hair is thick. I do about 30 min) 5. Take hair out of towel (if using) and comb it. 6. Part hair in desired area in front and part about equally down the back. 7. Work with one side at a time. Take a small section of hair at the front of your head, and another section from the back of your head. 8. Twist the pieces together like a rope braid. I start just above my ears. 9. Add in a section of hair from the front and from the back to continue the twist. 10. Continue adding hair and twisting down. Secure with an elastic. 11. Repeat on other side. 12. Go to bed! Let this style sit for 8-10 hours. The longer the better, especially if you have thick hair. 13. In the AM, remove your twists and gently shake your hair near the roots to loosen waves. 14. Spray hair with your preferred finishing spray/hairspray. Products I used: KRISTIN ESS - Ultra Hydrating Curl Leave-In Cream KRISTIN ESS - Hair Hydrating Curl Defining Crème R+Co - FOIL Frizz + Static Control Spray Notes: You can twist your twists around each other into buns or clip them on top of your head if the twists will bother you when you’re sleeping! You can modify this style by starting father or lower on your head, or doing two 3-strand braids. #CheriePartner

How to curl your hair without heat
Okay, so personally I love to have beautiful wavy hair. Like I’ve just gone to the beach. Bad luck for me I have very very straight hair. Plus it’s very thick, so curls don’t usually last very long on my hair. So I had to come up with a technique that I can do every day without damaging it. That meant that I wasn’t allowed to use heat. I usually take very good care of my hair. So I just use heat on it when I have an important event. So how do I do it, stay with me and you can know to. First of all I washed my hair like a normally would and let it dry a little bit. We don’t want it soaking wet. The only tool you are going to need for this tutorial is a rope. For example, I use the rope from my bathrobe, it has the perfect thickness and material. Take into account that the thinner the rope, the tighter the curl is going to be. I put the middle of the rope in the top of my head and secure it with bobby pins. You can remove them later on. I separate my hair in four sections. Two on each side. And all you have to do is wrap the two sections in opposite directions of the rope. just like this. If it’s more comfortable for you, you can wrap the two “braids” around your head. I do this when I’m going to bed. The next day all you have to do is to remove the rope. Be very careful not to damage the curls. They should look like this at first glance. Then you only have to style it to your preferences and there you have ire Curls that don’t damage your hair!
Achieve Overnight Waves
As someone who naturally has wavy/curly hair, my hair has a mind of it’s own most of the time. Giving my hair directions on how to dry is almost futile. That is why I like to style it over night to have a more uniform wave pattern that is not only cute but also more manageable. It also helps me tame my frizz and keeps the heat damage to a minimum. I like using a mixture of curl cream and mousse. The curl cream is more so to keep my hair feeling moisturized and protected. The mousse is to help keep the style to last longer and give it holding power. My hair is normally already detangled from my shower, so the first thing I do is squeeze out any excess water with a t-shirt and apply my curl cream. I love using the Curls Creme Brule Whipped Curl Cream for this step because it has so many amazing ingredients that help nourish my hair. I let my hair air dry for a while before attempting the next step. This is because if I go in to style while it is very wet, I will wake up to hair that is still damp. I then go in with my favorite Herbal Essences Totally Twisted Curl-Boosting Mousse. It has great hold without the lasting crunchy feeling other mousses have. After all of my products have been evenly distributed, I like doing two French braids, one on each side of my head. Sometimes if I want extra dimension I will do three braids, one in the center and two on the sides. After the braids are done, I like doing an extra squeeze out of the product and water with my t-shirt and its ready to go! I like going to sleep with my braids in. When I wake up, I delicately open up the braids and separate the waves. If my hair has a cast from the mousse, I like to scrunch it out so the wave can loosen and fall more naturally. Now I have ready to go hair that I don’t have to worry about! This style usually lasts me a couple of days, especially if it is re-braided over night. Happy braiding!

No heat mermaid waves #cheriepatner
My first time doing this with my hair in awhile I used to have my hair braided like this when I was little and my hair would turn out so wavy and I loved it so much. I try to not use as much heat on my hair and just style my hair naturally and instead of crimping my hair I can braid it and it turns out just like crimping my hair I frost take sections of my hair and braid around my head and after I tie it in a low ponytail and leave in over night and take the braids out in the morning and I get the best and pretty results My hair is pretty thick so I love a good wave For shampoo and conditioner I love using PANTENE - 2 in 1 Shampoo and Conditioner for a good wash and to give my hair some strength and I use color protection TRESemmé - Color Revitalize Shampoo but the conditioner as well I looks to use both and I love Pantene as well . I couldn’t find the conditioner but this is the shampoo to use with it too and it’s amazing they both are for a strong revitalize color and hair
