Hair styling creams
Strong hold, beautiful shine, and style versatility... All of these benefits can be found in one product, and that's hair styling cream.
A primer that does not leave your hair stiff!
📌My skin type: Dry/ Combination 📌Product information: Gisou Propolis infused polishing primer ($34 for 2.6oz). All products are honey infused. It is a prepping primer for your hair before and after it gets styled. It claims to diminish frizz, prevent frizz, it enhances hair texture, gives definition and volume to the hair. The ingrident Mirsalehi Propolis contains numerous oils, flavonoids, minerals, vitamins. It prevents hair from damage and dehydration. Upon diving deep into the brand and all the formulations I learnt - 📌Product texture: Gel like texture. 📌My Experience: To be honest I do not style my hair much. But when I do I try and use this primer before and after styling my hair. One really needs a tiny amount to run through the hair. To be honest, using a primer which I know protects my hair a bit from the heat makes me feel good but thats pretty much it. I have not seen any noticeable voluminous benefits from it. But I like how it does not leave my hair kinda greasy and stiff like other primers do, and hence I keep using it. 📌Like/ Dislike: LIKE 📌Would I recommend it? Depends on how often you style your hair. 📌Rating of the product: 4/5 (due to high price rate)

For My Curlfriends! ☺️
// Products that saved my damage hair \\ For my curly/coily/wavy girls, this one’s for you!! I have 4B/4C hair, which is on the thicker, more coiler spectrum of curly hair. It can be prone to breakage, which damages my hair. I am ALWAYS on the hunt for new products to try because well my hair always needs moisture & lots of slip to detangle. That’s where Emerge comes in! Created for naturals in mind, they’re a brand new hair line that is found at Target (my favorite place + second home of course !) & these products are $7 each! I was skeptical at first, but I figured if I don’t like them, I can return them. Let’s just say I am SO SO happy with purchasing these products. This hair care brand has definitely saved my hair! 🌿 It’s Knot Happening Shampoo - This shampoo is freaking EVERYTHING!! It does not strip your hair at all, leaves your quite soft & moisturized (which is unheard of for a shampoo), & it helps to detangle my hair at the same time! What shampoo you know does that? I was shocked by how much definition my hair had once I rinsed out the shampoo. With two washes, my hair feels so soft & clean. 🌿 Smooth Mover Conditioner - Whomever made this conditioner, I literally want to thank them myself! This conditioner is AMAZING!!! I can’t even tell you how super soft, moisturized, hydrated, & nourished my hair felt with this conditioner. My hair seemed to absorb it immediately & BABY! When I tell you detangling was a breeze 😩 Like what!? Whomever made this magical product, THANK YOU! It’s the right amount of thick & creamy. I will leave it in my hair as a hair mask if I’m too lazy to use the actual hair mask. My hair feels so so lush afterwards ☺️ 🌿 Back to Life Hair Mask - I was very hesitant to try this mask, just because I loved the conditioner already on it’s own. I also am super hesitant to try masks; they can always be a hit or a miss. This one is definitely a lot thicker than the conditioner (I wish it were at least the same as consistency or a tad bit more creamier than the conditioner). At first I didn’t like it, but then I saw how moisturized my hair was after washing it out, which is a plus. A lot of products can have hydrating shampoo & conditioners, but the mask lacks so much! This definitely complimented the shampoo & conditioner. However, I would do one or the other, not both the conditioner & hair mask. 🌿 My Everything Butter Cream - This butter cream is superb! It’s very creamy, it isn’t too thick & I feel my hair instantly defines with this product. It does not weigh down my hair & I feel like it smells like roses. All of the products have a seemingly faint scent to them, which I’m very okay with. I’m sensitive to smells, & I hate products that are masked with fragrances. Overall, the butter cream is great for twistouts, or even to style the hair when needed ☺️ If you’re a curly/coily girl, try out this brand. You won’t regret your purchase 😁 *second photo is of my hair after shampooing*

make your twist-out last with the Zotos All About Curls Starter Kit~ set includes: •NO-LATHER CLEANSER •DAILY CREAM CONDITIONER •HIGH DEFINITION GEL •BOUNCY CREAM *I received this complimentary kit from influenster in exchanged for review* I have thick 4b/4c hair. I only wash my hair once a month and style my hair every 1-2 weeks. This kit is cute and convenient The shampoo and conditioner work well. The shampoo cleanses without stripping and the conditioner makes detangling super easy. My favorites from the kit are the 2 styling products. They really make your curls soft and pop and last without the crunchy feeling 🙏🏾 <swipe> to see my hair using the 2 stylers only Only con is the size. My hair is short but very thick so it takes a lot of product. So the full size products would work better. 〰️ #allaboutcurls #contest #complimentary @zotosprofessional @influenster 〰️〰️〰️ #hairproducts #curlygirlmethod #curlyhair #naturalhairproducts #naturalhair #4bhair #4chair #hairproductreview #naturalhaircare #twistouts #naturalhaircommunity #twa #hairgel #sulfatefree #sulfatefreeshampoo #ZOTOS - ALL ABOUT CURLS deluxe moisture starter kit[products]#
Heat Protectant Creme 💁🏻♀️
Makes your hair smell great! I use this all the time when heatstyling (blowout, curling, or straightening) and my hair always turns out great (shiny, soft, less frizz). I apply it on all over damp, towel dried hair starting from the ends working up to my roots. Briogeo - Farewell Frizz Blow Dry Perfection Heat Protectant Cream My hair feels smoother as soon as I put it on, and my blowouts don’t have those scraggly ends anymore. I tend to let my hair dry naturally a lot in the summer, and even when I do that I can’t believe how smooth it dries when I use this.

Cute high ponytail for short hair 💁🏻♀️
Summer is here and some days I just can’t stand having my hair on my face! This is my go-to hairstyle for when I want to put my hair up but still look cute and fun! I have medium thick, wavy hair that tends to get heavy so I need to be careful not to over condition it so I’ll often skip conditioner in the shower and just use something to style it and add some moisture like the amika: - Supernova Moisture and Shine Cream which also helps a TON with frizz 🙏🏼 For this hairstyle I just put my hair up in a classic high ponytail, top it off with a scrunchy and curl the hair on the pony with a good, ol’ regular curling iron 🤗 What’s your fave go-to cute summer hairstyle? 💗

My Mental Wellness Improved Through My Self AcceptanceWhen I was around 13 or 14 years old, I remember routinely taking one of my older sister’s black eyeliner pencils before school every morning. I’d arrive early so that I could slip away to the girl’s bathroom to apply a single black line to my eyelids. My parents didn’t allow me to wear any makeup at the time. Although this smudgy line on my eyelids didn’t make me look all that much different, I never felt comfortable at school without it. My teenage mind convinced myself that I needed some sort of cosmetic symbol in order to appropriately express my femininity. Up until that point in my life, society had told girls that looked like me - tall, Black, and with kinky hair - that we somehow weren’t as beautiful as the other girls. For far too long, I believed it too.Feb. 17
