How to get Healthy Silky Hair
First thing first, it is important to notice what causes frizz hair. Our Hair gets frizzy when it is dry and lacks moisture. Lack of humidity and heat caused by a shower are major causes of frizzy hair! My hair was highlighted for many years and I noticed my ends look lifeless and fried. I have a lot of breakage on my ends and they are super super dry and feeling like straw. I believe it is normally damage for most dark hair going lighter. I was recommended by a stylist friend who works in a salon and he said this was the best product selling last year and I have to try. I’ve always been a big fan of Kerastase and I love their oil. But this is my first time using their shampoo and masks. It is pricy and the result was amazing. KÉRASTASE - Blond Absolu Anti-Brass Purple Shampoo It is important that you use a moisturising or anti-frizzing shampoo that contains humectants like glycerin. This shampoo is a miracle treatment! It is actually the one work just as advertised - reverse and repair damage done to your hair done by bleaching or highlighting. It has an anti-static formula which leaves your hair shiny, smooth and strong. KÉRASTASE - Blond Absolu Anti-Brass Purple Mask I have to highlight this mask! It is an absolutely brilliant product! It does an excellent job on moisture retention, smoothing and protecting. At the same time , you can feel it works great on maintaining your hair’s own moisture and stopping frizzy hair after washing. I have to recommend my favorite product from Kerastase as well that always keeps my hair shiny. KÉRASTASE - Kerastase Elixir Ultime L'huile Originale Oil This serum has very light textures and feels comfortable when you put it on. I normally apply a few drops before going the sleep and next day wake up gorgeous

BASIC Hair Tips! (Part 1)
My journey with my hair care has allowed to learn a lot of basic things that we’re really not taught about. I’m sharing a few, and will be sharing more in the future, because good techniques help with the efficiency of the products. So, I hope that once you start applying them, that you’ll see some positive changes! Get to KNOW your hair! This is essential for us curly people because we REQUIRE EXTRA daily care to shine flawlessly. This includes knowing whether your hair strands are thin or thick, if the scalp is oily, dry or sensitive, and the strength of your curls quenchness (A, B, C). Once you know all of these, then you’ll be able to try products that are more TARGETED for your hair type. Many tend to not know their hair type, which is why they struggle with finding good products and changing products from time to time. DO NOT USE PURE OILS in your hair! There’s a huge misconception about how oils are great for curls and they’re really just providing an ILLUSION of what you can ACTUALLY ACHIEVE. Oils are INCAPABLE of penetrating the hair shaft deep enough to have any LASTING IMPACT. Plus, OIL and WATER do NOT MIX WELL, so whenever you add oil and then try to rinse it off with only water, it’ll take you a LONG TIME. In fact, you’re probably not removing the oil, which is also part of the reason for why the hair can get so dirty instantly. Also, if oil is left on your hair, then the hair shafts will get CLOGGED. If they get clogged, then it’ll be harder for the shampoo to do the DEEP SCALP CLEANSING, which would also attribute to the hair’s overall look of dirtiness. That being said, if you have been using oils, do not try to RUB IT ALL OFF on your next wash, because that will just IRRITATE your scalp. Treat your scalp with CARE, ALWAYS! The more washes you do, then the easier it’ll be for the shampoo to do its work and slowly declog the shafts as long as you don’t add extra oils to it. That being said, the hair needs oils, but only a minimum amount, so there’s NO NEED TO ADD PURE OIL TO IT, UNLESS YOU HAVE SUPER DRY SCALP (and be CAUTIOUS ABOUT IT, ONLY ADD A MINIMUM AMOUNT) BUBBLES/FOAM DO NOT EQUAL CLEAN! I feel that while many of us have noticed that more brands are releasing shampoos without sulfates, many of us also don’t understand why that matters. Part of it is because sulfates are what give rise to the bubbles, and I used to think that the appearance of more bubbles meant that the shampoo was working even better, but that’s not what that means. When MORE FOAM appears, that means that the shampoo’s sulfates have successfully removed a huge part of you hair’s ESSENTIAL NUTRIENTS and OILS. AVOID THAT by using shampoos with low sulfates or non-sulfate shampoos! Wow, wanted to add more, but I’ve written a lot for now. Hope this information helps, but please take the time to do more research on your own!

Rate my hair care routine for my curly/wavy hair
So I have been trying to mess with my hair routine to better define my curls. I have curly/wavy hair, more like beach curls is what my fam said..I am new to hair care so would love some tips on how to better define my curls more. Here’s what I currently use. I was about 2-3 times per week depending if I swam or not. I live in a hot/dry climate and love to swim when I can for exercise REDKEN - Extreme Shampoothis is new to my mix and bought during ultas jumbo sale. So far I notice nothing different to what I used before but it doesn’t seem to make it worse so still deciding. I use a handheld hair scrub I found on amazon to wash my hair and love how it got rid of my dandruff just from using a new tool REDKEN - All Soft Conditioner I was using this with its shampoo but ran out of the shampoo..loved the two together because I felt my hair getting softer and silkier with each use. May end up going back to this set if I don’t find something better for my hair SheaMoisture - Coconut & Hibiscus Curl & Shine Masque Packette I use this once a week in the shower and it does make a difference but I think it weighs down my hair too much so looking for recommendations! DevaCurl - WAVE MAKER Touchable Texture Whip I love to use this product to help define my curls more but wish it wasn’t so expensive so I took out one star. I use about a quarter size in my hair when wet and doesn’t weigh it down ogx - Nourishing Coconut Milk Anti-Breakage Serum I use this after my hair has dried and so far I really love this stuff! I notice the frizz decreasing and it doesn’t weigh my hair down. I was using Paul Mitchell’s skinny serum but that’s so expensive I found something else to help but at a better price and so far it’s great! Batiste - Tropical Dry Shampoo Coconut & Exotic love this for days 2-3 on my roots. I can see a big difference and don’t see myself getting a different kind ever! It cleans up my roots and I never see any residue or white powder look after I rub the product in. PANTENE - Pro-V Curl Mousse to Tame Frizz for Soft and Touchable Curls I have had this mousse for years and a friend with curly hair said to use a mousse to help hold my curls better..once this is empty I need to find something better to hold my curls without the crunchy feeling. I am trying to find better ways to hold my curls and get the curls more near the roots. I didn’t realize till recently that my hair was so curly so I just brushed it before and threw it up till I figured out what my hair was really about. So I’m new to curly hair care and would love tips and affordable recommendations on products! Thanks!!

Easy curly girl approved hair care routine for wavy hair 💇🏼♀️
I have been suffering from brittle wavy hair for many years until last year, my friend told me Curly Girl Method. After several months of practice and countless searches on Google, I simplify my CGM for my wavy hair. Can't wait to share it with you since I know we always have more important things to do than digging into long articles introducing CGM! Additionally, I can't spend so much time flattering my hair! I don't have patience! So if you like me who has brittle wavy hair, I recommend you try this most effortless hair care routine. Believe me, magic will dispel all hair issues.
My hair care routine
Hey guys welcome to my hair routine for my pinky pink hair!!! This is me looking good with my pink hair at its peak before I had roots :,(. I try to keep my hair very healthy generally but if I feel like it’s being especially weak or dry I’ll go in with olaplex before shampoo. Olaplex is a bonds builder you use before your shampoo, and it basically reinforces the bonds of your hair! It’s a bit pricey so I don’t use it often as 1 bottle runs for around 15, and I use 1 bottle per use (long hair tingz). OLAPLEX - No. 3 Hair Perfector First we’re gonna start off with this shampoo from L’Oréal. I like it so far because it does a pretty good job at keeping the colour in, and I really like the smell! I’ve been using it since March since my old shampoo was really expensive (I’m not out here trynna pay 20 bucks for shampoo consistently). L'ORÉAL - Elvive Color Vibrancy Protecting Shampoo I like to use it with this head massager brush I got from amazon because it helps reduce the oil on your scalp because I wash my hair every 2-3 days (But, I started doing this thing called cowashing though where you basically only condition when you wash your hair and I like it a lot). Basically when you lather your shampoo on you’re going to massage it in with this brush for around 15 seconds, leaving your hair to be really well washed at the top (which is what we want when we shampoo) Shampoo twice as usual and we’re moving on to conditioner. So my trick to maintaining healthy bleached hair is using a hair mask as a conditioner. These are the two I’m using right now: L’Oréal Mega Moisture Fructose Garnier one minute hair mask I mixed in my dye with these in a 7:3 ratio (I dyed using a 8:2 ratio I just made it a bit more pigmented because colour doesn’t stick as well on wet hair). The dye I’m currently using is Electric Paradise by Arctic Fox. I usually keep this in while I shave or brush my teeth (normalize brushing your teeth in the shower man) so around 3-5 min. And then after I’m done towel drying my hair I put in this Argan Oil From Morocco And yeah that’s my hair routine!! I discovered all these products by trial and error throughout my year and a half of hair dyeing, and it’s my time to impart this knowledge onto you! Thanks for reading until now and DM me on ig (@porojin) if u ever need any help and I’ll try to get to you! Farewell fellow mental breakdown enthusiasts, Chammy
