My top 3 brightening cream
1. SKINCEUYICALS discoloration defense SKINCEUTICALS - Discoloration Defense Skin Discoloration Serum It contains 3% Tranexamic Acid. This synthetically-derived ingredient minimizes the reoccurrence of skin discoloration and stubborn brown patches with continued use. besides, 1% Kojic Acid and 5% Niacinamide are also very helpful. It targets skin discoloration often caused by accumulated sun exposure, hormonal shifts, and the natural aging process. I received a sample of this two weeks ago. I used it once a day in the morning after my CF serum and it’s greatly reduced my redness and evened out my skin tone. It does leave a slight tint to my skin but it just makes me look tanner so I’m not complaining! I definitely suggest pairing this product up with our Phlorentin CF, this is a patented daytime vitamin c antioxidant face serum that delivers advanced environmental protection and diminishes the appearance of fine lines and discoloration. 2. CLARINS bright plus CLARINS - Bright Plus Serum It contains not one but two super oxygenating plants extracts that help skin 'breathe' better and look brighter. I loved that product so much I was really disappointed it was the first serum to actually make my brown circle on my left check disappear. I was thrilled but realized you discontinued it. I mostly gave dark spot from acne scar and it is now fading. I was told that this new product would be even better. I bought it and it felt nice on my face but it did nothing to my brown spot and I ran out of it very quickly plus the push vial is kind of. Messy. I now see there are 2 sizes but I didn't see it and how much it is. I'd love my mission perfection back but will buy this new one again. 3. SK-II genoptics aura essence SK-II - GenOptics Aura Essence Serum This is SK-II's best-selling brightening serum for radiant, smooth skin. Packed with radiance-enhancing ingredients, this lightweight serum absorbs quickly to improve dullness and help reduce dark spots caused by sun damage for even, glowing skin. After using it for a month, I find it can improve radiance by diminishing cloudiness under the skin's surface caused by UV exposure, and smooth the skin for a uniform surface that reflects light gently. This lightweight, milky serum spreads easily and can be quickly absorbed by skin. With a specially designed auto-fill dropper, one full drop will provide the optimal dosage for each application. I highly recommend it for all skin types.

Fresh, bright, glowing skin with brown sugar, honey and lemon juice scrub
Spending too much time indoors is definitely not ideal for the skin. And since I’ve started working from home, I noticed that my skin was getting more and more dull. The combination of too much air con, not enough sun and fresh air made my skin look tired, lifeless and dehydrated. And this is when I saw an article online about fruit acids and how they are used to exfoliate the skin for more brightness. Of course, they were talking about ingredients to look for in skincare products, but I didn’t have time for this! I wanted to try it right that moment! So, after another quick google search, I came up with my own, all natural, homemade scrub! I used a spoon of brown sugar, a teaspoon of honey and a few drops of freshly squeezed lemon juice, just enough to help me get a thick paste. I mixed all ingredients together on a plate as I didn’t have a glass jar available. I used a teaspoon, but you can mix them with your fingers too. Once I got what I thought was a good consistency for my scrub, I cleansed my face and applied the paste. I applied it with my fingers while rubbing gently with circular movements. I avoided the eye area (lemon juice and sensitive skin!), but I’ve applied plenty on the lips as honey should be great for hydrating them. After about 2 minutes of massage, I let the paste on the face and waited for another 30 minutes before rinsing it off with plenty of warm water. It is sticky and I ate most of it from my lips, but my face got all smooth and bright after. The brown sugar is great for mechanical exfoliation and I needed to be careful not to damage the skin when rubbing. Lemon juice is packed with vitamin C, so it is good for chemical exfoliation. For me the combination worked so well that I decided to use it about once per week!
Tired sensitive skin to lively glowing skin
I have sensitive skin (her red and irritated by May products, heat, etc). So I started using Acure’s soothing line. Immediately I noticed my skin didn’t sting and didn’t get red. Score! (And the price was reasonable: $12-19 depending on the product). The blue tansy night oil smells amd feels amazing. Once that helped my sensitivity I decided that since I was going to be in my mid thirties soon, I better get a good retinoid. So I was going to see a dermatologist, but then I saw that I could see a derm online and get a custom made product just for me: I’m on a low dose of .03% tretinoin with hyaluronic acid . I’ve using it for three months as prescribed (had to put it on every two-three nights to make sure my skin adjusted) Now I do it every day or every other day. Also, my derm dr placed vitamin c on my regimen so I went to an Acure product because I love them and it had ferulic acid as well as vitamin c, something. I learned about form someone here! I randomly got excited about the custom aspect of Atolla so I got some. I’ve only been using it for a month so I’m not sure yet. But it feels nice! No sensitivity issues, but it might just be an extra I don’t really need. I’m very happy with my progress! SKIN GLOW 101: SPF ✨
Hey friends! Do you find yourself glowing immediately after you finish your AM routine, but feeling dull or too matte throughout the day? Oh boy, I have an exciting product for you 🤩 let’s talk about Biossance’s new SPF formula! BIOSSANCE - Squalane + Zinc Sheer Mineral Sunscreen SPF 30 PA +++ To preface this, I want to say my skin tone is fair—so often times I don’t have to worry about white cast—I fully acknowledge my privilege in that aspect. The cool thing about this screen is that it is a mineral formula with NO WHITE CAST! I saw Jackie Aina applying it in a video and I was floored. I also want to add that my skin type is acne-prone and sensitive with rosacea so I typically prefer mineral sunscreens since they’re less irritating *to me* than chemical screens. Biossance’s “gimmick” is their plant-derived squalane—you can find it in every single product in their line. The spf is no different. Due to that, the texture is a bit heavier than other sunscreens I have used. Think traditional “sport” coppertone-esque levels of heaviness. Due to this, on days that I use this sunscreen, I use it in place of my moisturizer or else it feels incredibly heavy on my skin. That’s where this loses one star for me. Even though I have to rate this 4/5 stars, it gives me an INSANE dewiness throughout the day that doesn’t look oily. It’s amazing! It also hasn’t caused any breakouts in the time I’ve been using it (1 month). It runs on the pricy side—$30 for 1.7oz. I recommend getting a mini size or a sample before purchasing. I would recommend this for normal to dry skin types, not oily as it might make the situation worse. 4/5 What are your favorite sunscreens?

glowing skin with no makeup✨
hello everyone! today i am showing you how i make my skin glow without makeup! tbh i hate posting this bc i look awful without makeup but whatever😂 sometimes we dont have the time to do makeup, but we still want to look good. so, there are ways you can do that with JUST skin care! the most important thing is to be aware of your skin type. i have excessively oily skin and acne prone skin, so i have to moisturize to prevent oil, and use products that combat acne. of course most people can use these products and get similar results☺️ the best way in my opinion to keep your skin glowing is to find the right moisturizer. everyones skin is different but EVERYONE needs moisture, especially oily people. without moisture, our skin will compensate by OVER producing oil, which can cause acne. my favorite moisturizer to use is The Ordinary - Natural Moisturizing Factors + HA . its for all skin types and keeps my skin very hydrated. in combination with this, i use The Ordinary - Squalane Cleanser . this is also for all skin types and is really good because it doesnt strip your skin and is very moisturizing. it feels like an oil but it is oil free, and it also removes makeup! i then use The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% . this is a great affordable product. this is for all skin types, and niacinamide is a great ingredient for all skin, but it is best for acne. it reduces inflammation and can help minimize your pores appearance over time. this stuff soaks into your skin fast and feels watery! i then use Fourth Ray - Watermelon Face Milk . this is a great hydrating product to help keep moisture in the skin. it feels like milk, and they make different ones for different skin types. this one is for oily skin. by hydrating my skin, it helps prevent oil i use the moisturizer as mentioned before, and i finish off with a face spray. i ran out of my mario badescu, so now i am using Fourth Ray - Glisten Up Vitamin C Face Mist i havent used this long enough to know what its benefits are, but it feels nice😂 a face spray is a great way to let your skin shine- and this one is shimmery so it makes you glow! the last step is to be confident:) i hate not wearing makeup, but if i smile i feel like i look a lot better. make sure to know you are beautiful no matter what. dont forget to comment and cheer! #CheriePartner

My Mental Wellness Improved Through My Self AcceptanceWhen I was around 13 or 14 years old, I remember routinely taking one of my older sister’s black eyeliner pencils before school every morning. I’d arrive early so that I could slip away to the girl’s bathroom to apply a single black line to my eyelids. My parents didn’t allow me to wear any makeup at the time. Although this smudgy line on my eyelids didn’t make me look all that much different, I never felt comfortable at school without it. My teenage mind convinced myself that I needed some sort of cosmetic symbol in order to appropriately express my femininity. Up until that point in my life, society had told girls that looked like me - tall, Black, and with kinky hair - that we somehow weren’t as beautiful as the other girls. For far too long, I believed it too.Feb. 17
