Fragrance free cleansers
I received this cleanser from a gift with purchase promotion from Clinique a while back - I was pretty excited to try this out however it didn’t work out as I had hoped. What I like about this product is that it is fragrance free and is safe for sensitive skin. What I don’t like is the foam part - I personally don’t opt for foam cleansers as it strips my skin dry and I do not like that feeling and unfortunately this cleanser stripped my skin dry so minus 1 star for the rating. Another thing is that it made my skin break out? After using this product for almost a week straight consistently I have noticed that my skin - around my jawline/cheeks I was getting red bumps and my skin was red. Minus another star for that! Other than that, it did clean my face well. Taking all the makeup I had off (double cleansing) I don’t think this product is worth the money. I wouldn’t repurchase it nor recommend it. I would rate it 3 stars 🌟 CLINIQUE - All About Clean Rinse-Off Foaming Cleanser

Blume Daydreamer Face Wash
☁️ Blume Daydreamer Face Wash ☁️What is it? A calming, gentle, non- lathering cream cleanser (with a pump! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻) ☁️ Call Outs: Free of: Parabens, Sulfates, Alcohol, Silicone, Gluten, and Synthetic Fragrance. Vegan Cruelty Free ☁️Who’s it for? Suitable for all skin types. This is a great cleanser for dry or sensitive skin or anyone looking to calm down irritation or redness. This product does contain coconut oil and olive oil pretty high up on the ingredients list so if you are acne prone and sensitive to those ingredients this product may not be for you. Also if you are sensitive to essential oils this cleanser does contain lavender oil. ☁️What’s in it? This cleanser contains moisturizing emollient oils such as coconut oil and olive oil (these may not be the best for oily or acne prone skin but dry skin will love these). Additionally this cleanser contains skin soothing ingredients such as chamomile and grape seed extract as well as antioxidant rich grapefruit extract. ☁️My thoughts? I’ve really been loving this cleanser. Cream cleansers are my favorite and when they come in a pump, my head just about explodes. This cleanser feels a little more emollient and less...stiff? (For lack of a better word) than my other cream cleansers. The smell is a lovely light herbal scent and I do not find the lavender in here bothers me at all. This cleanser leaves my skin feeling soft and clean and not dry or stripped at all after using it.

The BEST cleanser for sensitive skin!
Avène - Extremely Gentle Cleanser Lotion This is my all time favorite cleanser for sensitive skin. Its marketed as a gentle non-rinse cleanser for sensitive, reactive and post-procedure skin and I’ve found it to be amazing for my sensitive, combination, acne-prone skin. Its supposed to cleanse and soothe the skin while leaving it moisturized and calm - and that is exactly what it does! I love when products deliver on their claims. The texture (as you can see in the photo) is a runny gel and has a lot if slip to it when on the skin. Its similar to the consistency of Cetaphil’s gentle skin cleanser but much gentler on the skin. It’s fragrance-free but does not overly smell of chemicals, it just smells of nothing (which I love!!). I have been using this cleanser for over a year now and have repurchased more times than I can count. I originally tried this when my skin was suffering from a major allergic reaction to harsh acne products and it completely calmed my skin and cleared it up within a matter of days! I definitely would recommend this to anyone with reactive skin or skin prone to redness as it noticeably soothes redness and never burns. The only cons for me regarding this product is that I do go through it quite quickly and it is a bit on the pricier side ($24 for 6oz). Also, it’s not the best at removing makeup at night or spot treatments in the morning so you will have to double cleanse. This cleanser is called a no-rinse cleanser and can be removed with a cotton round, however I always rinse off with water. Overall, I don’t find there to be many fragrance free, paraben free cleansers out there that actually work on sensitive skin so this is definitely worth a try for anyone struggling with their skin. I give it 5 stars and will continue to use daily!

Old vs. New: My go-to French and American cleansers
If you happen to follow French YouTubers (or even international actually), you’d know that they’re notorious when it comes to skincare. They don’t really wear much makeup but their skincare arsenal can give Jeffree Star a run for his money. I was living in France last year for 1 year, and man oh man, did I love their pharmacies there. French pharmacies are popular not for having the best selection of top-of-the-line medicines, but for having the best array of skincare products. Naturally, I dug in and bought some as I embraced my integration to the country of lights (and beautiful skin). This Avène extremely gentle cleanser lotion is one of my first skincare purchases in France. The bottle is so cheap, plus it lasted me for a really long time. It did its job of stripping off my makeup without stripping away the moisture out of my skin so I love that about it. When I ran out of it, I decided to try another gentle product in the market. Here comes the Glossier milky jelly cleanser. Like Avène, it’s super gentle, fragrance-free, and does the job of taking off makeup. I love that my face feels clean and supple with every wash. I don’t like splurging money for a cleanser because it’s there to clean my skin. As long as it does take off my makeup and dirt, it’s good enough for me.

A Cleanser for Sensitive Skin
The FAB Pure Pure Skin Face Cleanser has really impressed me these past couple of months. I love that it’s a gentle and fragrance free cleanser that aims to remove makeup and dirt. What impressed me the most about this cleanser is how gentle yet effective it is. Although I don’t think it doesn’t a great job of removing makeup, I think it gives the skin a great second cleanse without stripping the skin of moisture. I didn’t give it a 5/5 star review because I feel that it only reaches is full potential when used with a tool like the clarisonic or the Foreo, but for the price, I definitely think it’s worth both the effort and money. With the weather beginning to get more dry as winter approaches, I find myself reaching for the cleanser to soothe and effectively clean my sensitive skin. It’s a nice thicker cream like cleanser that doesn’t lather much. I enjoy this because I know that the formula isn’t going to leave my skin feeling tight or dry. I highly recommend this cleanser if you are looking for something to cleanse yet nourish sensitive skin.

Some cleansing balms for Oily/Acne prone skin
Here's a tower shot of some cleansing balms I have been using... I have tried some cleansing balms in the past that either broke me out or I didn't like, these are some I tried and liked : @banilacousa Clean it zero cleansing balm BANILA CO - Clean It Zero Cleansing Balm Original - ✨ Fragrance free ✨Removes makeup, sunscreen and other non-waterproof makeup ✨Glides easily and feels so lightweight ✨ Emulsifies so well and rinses off completely ✨ Doesn't leave a greasy film and doesn't sting/blur eyes @elemis Pro collagen cleansing balmELEMIS - Pro-Collagen Cleansing Balm - ✨ Has strong fragrance ✨Removes makeup, sunscreen and other non-waterproof makeup ✨Glides easily and feels so lightweight ✨ Emulsifies so well and rinses off completely ✨ Doesn't leave a greasy film and doesn't sting/blur eyes @lxmiofficial Pure nilotica oil LXMI - Pure Nilotica Melt Nourishing Balm-to-Oil ( Even though this isn't sold as a cleansing balm I really like how it removes makeup and also doesn't clog pores) ✨Fragrance free ✨Texture is thick, melts into oil ✨Removes makeup and sunscreen ✨ Doesn't emulsify ✨Leaves a greasy film on skin The cleansing balms I didn't like: @drunkelephant - Slaai makeup melting butter cleanserDRUNK ELEPHANT - Slaai Makeup-Melting Butter Cleanser (This has marula oil and surprisingly it broke me out.I out this to test in different scenarios but every time I used it it gave me small breakouts, so is a no for me) @ponds cold cream makeup removerPOND'S - Cold Cream Cleanser ( This is thick cold cream that is packaged and marketed to remove makeup and dirt but isn't the best experience. It's too occlusive and doesn't glide on skin easily. It also doesn't emulsify at all and leaves that crazy thick film on skin when rinsed with water. Well, it doesn't even rinse off to start with) @banilacousa Clean it Zero is my favorite so far. Works the best for Oily/Acne prone skin. I bought this value size tub on Amazon for 23$ which is truly a bang for the buck.
