My Go-to Eye Makeup
I always use these eye makeup products to make a everyday eye look. The RMK Ingenious Powder Eyes N 06 It's a ginger-colored base makeup that I'll use to cover my whole eyelid, then draw a natural eyeliner. This is a shimmery shade that can be applied onto a large area of the eyelids. It has the most delicate shimmers among all of my shimmery shades and it makes the skin around the eye area look great. laura mercier - Matte Eye Colour- Ginger: This shade is very versatile. If you have a more yellowish skin tone, the shade will appear to be earthy apricot. If you have a fairer skin tone, it will appear to be apricot orange. If you are going for a heavier makeup look, this can be used as a base. If you are looking for lighter makeup, this can be applied for deep set eyes. Shimity Eyeshadow/Eyeliner: It feels very soft and waxy and is very suitable to use as a brown eyeliner. It doesn't blend easily if the shade is too light or if the powder is too dry.

Eye Makeup ❤️
One of the ways I am able to make my eye makeup pop is through certain colors that highlight one’s eye color and skin tone! Through this one can open up the eyes! Not only that but by highlighting certain points on the eye including the inner corner and the brow bone, you can also open up the eyes making them look bigger! Along with this but simply wearing mascara can also open up the eyes by making the lashes look longer thus making the eyes look larger. Anyone can use these tips to make the eyes seems larger, more awake and just highlight the area more! ❤️

Which eyeshadow primer is worth it?
Preface: I used to be obsessed with makeup. I’d do a full face every single morning! So I have a stockpile of products in many categories, luxury and drugstore/affordable. Ask me questions in the comments if you want to know more about either of these products! Products: J.Cat Beauty - All About That Base Shadow Primer URBAN DECAY - Original Eyeshadow Primer Potion Price point: JCat: $4.99 for .35oz UD: $24 for .37oz Scent: JCat: smells heavily of chemicals, fades throughout the day. UD: has a “stale” scent, maybe similar to clay but not chemically. This one dissipates as you cover it up. Texture: JCat: “Goopy,” but easily spreadable and doesn’t dry down super fast so you have time to work with it. On the thinner side. UD: Kind of goopy but more of a thick “I will fill in your lines & pores” texture. Doesn’t dry down easily & IMO must be set with a neutral shadow. Color: JCat: This is a warmer shimmer base that I like to use for cutting my crease or as an all over base for more shimmer shadows. I would say it is more golden than champagne. UD: This is pretty versatile in that when it’s worked in it becomes translucent. However I can use it cut my crease as well, I just need to use another shadow/shimmer on top of it to set it in place. Wearability/longevity: JCat: this is very easily broken down by the natural oils your eyelids produce. Washes off easily with soap & water, is not waterproof by any means. UD: this definitely has a super long wear time especially if you set it with a neutral powder. I do have hooded eyes so I notice creasing but I don’t mind it as you never see the creases. My experiences: So I have used both of these as an all over base and a tool to cut my crease. While I really love the JCat shimmer base as a one step product to cut my crease, it doesn’t have a very long wear time, maybe a few hours at most. So it’s great for events! But if I need my shadow to last all day I usually go with the Urban Decay primer. Overall: This is a tough one because I like both of these products! The Urban Decay just has a longer wear time and is more versatile. Honestly, both products are worth it! I would recommend both of them, they just have different occasions and situations they could be used for and work fine.

Beauty Cocktail: Becca + Makeup Revolution 🥰
Something that I love doing is experimenting with makeup: mixing and combining products to make a beauty cocktail – something that performs even better than their original ingredients! Contouring and highlighting is one of my favourite parts of my beauty routine, but I can never find a highlighter that brightens AND conceals my under-eye: I find that combination concealers tend to be greasy and wear off quickly throughout the day. So I thought it was time to make my own! My favourite concealer is the Makeup Revolution Conceal and Hydrate Concealer, a $10 dupe of the iconic Shape Tape. I have also recently picked up the Becca Under Eye Brightening Corrector based on some glowing (pun intended!) reviews, but find it’s a little too pink-toned for my skin by itself. I have taken to dotting the Makeup Revolution Concealer under my eyes, then alternating with dots of the Becca Under Eye Brightening Corrector – then, taking a damp, small beauty blender, I blend the product together whilst buffing it into my skin. If I’m going on a night out and I want a more intense, brighter under-eye, I will apply a larger amount of concealer and corrector directly to the beauty blender and mix with a small, flat brush, then press into the skin. This beauty cocktail creates a beautiful and bright under-eye, which, when set with a translucent baking or setting powder, doesn’t budge – for lovely smooth highlight all day long!
