Essential oils for the win, and scar fader!!
Kiehl's - Midnight Recovery Concentrate I’m really not big into the essential oil scene. A long time ago I got this crazy ass cyst on my face... like no joke the size of a fricken dime. It left a little scar behind, kind of like a scar from a burn. I was crazy and tried to burn it off with saylic acid pads. I’ve tried bio oil and all types of things to get rid of it. It really is barely existent but of course I notice it. I tried this because I got it in a sample pack. It really is a Christmas miracle, it has made such a difference with that scar and the texture and coloration of my face. My skin looks so even in the morning. I only use this 3 times a week, 2 to 3 drops or if I’m feeling pretty dry. It’s pricey, all of this brands products are but it’s worth it and it will last forever. Are Essential Oils in Skincare Worth It?
Essential oils in skincare – what does that mean? Essential oils are the essences of plants that provide unique fragrances and properties. They can be extracted from any part of the plant, and sometimes its fruits. For my combination-dry skin, I look to incorporating oils in my skincare to help lock-in hydration on my skin surfact. Rich creams and moisturizers help but some essential oils could provide relief as well. Face oil are one of my favorite heavy-duty remedy and the Grand Facial Oil by created by J Bloom Cosmetics is one of my favorites. J Bloom Cosmetics - Grand Facial Oil Handmade small batches in Texas, the nourishing face oil is suitable for all skin types, although sensitive skin types should still proceed with caution. Sell: The face oil is created with 9 different "sustainably sourced ingredients" from around the world such as baobab seed oil from Ghana, geranium oil from Egypt, rosehip seed oil from Chile, and tamanu seed oil from Vietnam. I was hunting for a face oil and I'm definitely happy to support this homegrown brand launched by Jordan. Love the natural calming scent, thanks to geranium and ylang-ylang. To use, apply a few drops of oil onto palms of hands and rub together, then gently press hands onto face, neck, and décolletage. I use this 2-3 times as the last step during my PM routine. I also amp up that summer glow by adding a drop into my foundation before application, or lightly pat the oil on the high points of my face and anywhere else that I would like for a gorgeous glow. Good to Know: Cruelty-free, vegan, no parabens, sulfates, phthalates, synthetic fragrances. 30ml / USD$60

Essential Oil Soap
Have you ever used Essential oil soaps? This is one that Ive tried and fell in love with. For a cheap price you will feel so smooth and clean after using this soap. If you don’t like a lot of fragrance in your soap and don’t mind seeing the dead skin float off your body down the drain then this might be for you. This is a very basic soap but it gets the job done well I have never had an issue with irritation or over drying it’s just right. Can you recommend any other types of essential oil soaps to give a try please let me know. Honestly with hygiene less is more in my book. The less fragrance, dyes and soap suds the better. I like feeling naturally clean and not stripped down of everything on my skin.. if you’d like to know what body butters are my favs stick around and I’ll tell you about it in a later post!
Definitely try this‼️‼️
When I was in London, windy weather always caused my skin to be unstable, dry and sensitive. I bought this essential oil in the summer. As a combination oil skin, I actually don't like to use essential oils at hot periods. It makes me feel uncomfortable to apply a layer of oil to the originally greasy skin. So after I bought it and just using one time, this essential oil is lying idle. The weather has gradually turned cold recently, and my lazy skin care mode was turned on! After cleaning my face, I will apply it directly by pressing. The absorption effect of this essential oil is very good, and it does not feel greasy. Its texture is moisturizing and the smell is light lavender. Very cost-effective. This product can replace night cream from my experience. So, this is my lazy routine: cleansing, toner, essential oil. From official and others recommendation, this essential oil should in the last step, which means you can apply it after any of the cream. Because this essential oil can lock in moisture and nutrients for previous skin care. This product contains a variety of essential oils, of which squalane can replenish skin sebum. Evening primrose is a restorative vegetable oil, and lavender can help sleep. So this essential oil is very suitable for night use. In addition, this essential oil contains fragrance, so it is recommended to use it after testing for sensitive skin. The overall feeling is that this oil is relatively mild. Although it is not the kind of emergency essential oil, you can feel the skin condition gradually getting better after long-term use. I still recommend it! Kiehl's - Midnight Recovery Concentrate
