Dry nail polish quickly
It can take 20-60 minutes for nail polish to dry completely. If you want to speed up the process, you can try using a blowdryer or ice water.
Favorite Drugstore Nude Nail Polish 💅🏼
I’ve searched for so long to find a quality nude polish that didn’t look weird when applied and I’ve finally found it! ✨This nail polish is the Sally Hansen Insta Dri Polish in “Buff and Tumble”. It costs about $4.47 so it’s a great price for a decent sized bottle of polish (0.31 fl oz). ✨This comes in a glass triangular bottle with a thicker brush that is a great length and a wide rectangular shape which I like for more control, coverage and easier application. ✨This polish dries quickly and lasts a while even without top coat. It also goes on smoothly and is a quality polish, meaning it is pigmented properly so it’s not transparent at all with enough product. I tend to do two lighter coats but if you do one thick coat, that would work too! I also feel like this color is truly great for any occasion. I’d definitely repurchase and purchase some of their other colors too in this line. A great buy! #CheriePartner Sally Hansen - Insta Dri Nail Color

review of my current fave nail polish
Today I want to tell y’all about my absolute favorite nail polish right now. The JINsoon - Demure Nail Polish is such a pretty color: it’s a little more lilac than it looks in this photo, but it still leans neutral enough to look professional AND cute. I’m very impatient when it comes to painting my nails, so I hadn’t been doing them very often until I got some JINsoon polishes. They claim to be fast drying and long wearing, and in my experience both of those are true. I do two coats of this color, which is enough to make it opaque, and I only have to wait a few minutes in between the coats. After that, I typically wait about ten minute just to be safe, but I haven’t experienced any smudging thus far. It tends to last about 5-7 days on me before it starts to chip, which is pretty impressive in my book. This polish is $18, but considering the quality, I think it’s worth it. If you’re someone who likes to have your nails done but you aren’t going right now because of the pandemic, I think this is a good option for a quick at-home manicure. Or even if you’re like me and you just occasionally paint your nails to feel fancy, this is still a great polish!

Favorite nail polish 💅🏻
These are the ones I use the most, ranging from affordable to a little more pricey. Essence shine last and go! These are only $1.99! They’re super affordable and they last a while. They come in 32 different colors on essence’s site. The colors are really pretty, I apply 2 coats and sometimes a top coat and they last me a couple weeks. essence - Shine Last & Go! Gel Nail Polish Sally Hansen insta dry nail color. These are $5.59 on Ulta’s site. There’s 48 colors and they’re super pretty. These also last about a couple weeks and dry quickly. Sally Hansen - Insta Dri Nail Color Essie nail lacquer. These are $9.00 on Ulta’s site as well. A little more pricey but not terrible. I think these are worth it. These have surprisingly lasted me 3 weeks with a top coat on. I wash dishes and use my hands a lot so these were great. essie - Longwear Nail Polish

💅🏼 Dry Your Nails Quick 💅🏼
I found a beauty hack in Tik Tok under #beautyhacks by @/kelseyvenkov about an easy way to make your nails dry quickly and wanted to try it out! . The purpose of this hack is to obviously dry your nails quicker, so you aren’t stuck just waiting for them to dry or worry about them messing up. All you need is the nail polish of your choice (mine is my alma mater, just graduated in December) and a bowl of cold water with ice. . I painted my nails and then immediately dipped a hand into the little bowl of water with ice and kept them in there for about 30 seconds and then took them out for a few seconds to let them thaw out 😂 then stuck them in again for a little bit longer. I then did another coat and did the same process again. The first time I kept pulling my hand out of the water because it was so cold, but the second time I kept my hand in as long as I could and definitely noticed less bubbling on the second hand. There aren’t many bubbles on the first hand (still less than when I just paint them and air dry), but the second hand has practically none. I definitely think this works, especially if you’re in a rush or are like me and are impatient and hard waiting for them to dry. It easily cut the amount of time it took to paint my nails by half because I didn’t have to wait for the first coat to dry before I went in with the second one. I really recommend this and will now do this every time I paint my nails 💅🏼✅
Magnetic Nails for the Holidays ❄
Have you tried magnetic nail polish? It’s the most magical nails ever with just one polish! The multi- dimensional effect makes it seem as if you can dive right in. So what are magnetic nails? Magnetic nails are nail polishes, either in a regular or gel base, that have magnetic pigments in it. The pigments are usually colored and with the use of a magnet, you can produce various designs. For reference, the darker polish is Live Love Polish’s Cosmic Dust, a regular nail polish with magnetic pigments. The mauvey pink polish is Ice Gel’s IM1152 There’s two different types of magnetic nails you can do, gel and regular nail polish. I’ll explain the two types and the pro’s and con’s between the two 💅 Regular Nail Polish With regular polish, you are limited to only a couple designs due to the drying time. As your nails dry, you will need to hover the magnet over the polish so that the magnetic pigment doesn’t spread and lose your design. You’ll also need to do this to every layer, including top coat. BUT! I have a little hack. If you use the Zoya Quick Dry Drops after applying top coat, you can quickly “save” the design you want. 💅 Gel Polish You can do so much more with gel polish! Since the base is much thicker, the magnetic pigment does not spread as easily. You can quickly cure your nails and lock in your design. The only downside is that gel removal can take a while. However, if you want the gel magnetic nail designs and don’t want to soak your nails in acetone, you can use Holo Taco’s Peely Base. The manicure will not last as long as a regular gel but you can remove your manicure in one easy step: just peel it off. It doesn’t leave your nails damaged and for those sensitive to acetone or dryness, this is a better solution. Let me know if you end up trying these! I love the effects that you can get with magnetic gel polish but also love the variety of colors and shades I can easily purchase for regular magnetic polish!
How I get salon quality nails at home!
People ask me all the time where I got my nails done 🙊 I always tell them I just do them at home! Why pay $30-$50 every 2 weeks when you can get similar results with nail polish at home? Lately I’ve been using the DERMELECT - Makeover Peptide Infused Ridge Filler Base Coat as a base coat. I love this because it gives my nails a smooth base for color and it really sticks to the nail! Then I go in with a color from Deborah Lippmann! (Allowing 2-5 minutes between coats!) She mainly releases limited edition sets so I can’t tag the ones I use which can get very annoying but I love her formula so I keep buying them! I’ve found the formula is very consistent among all the sets! Then I follow up with a clear top coat! This line from Rimmel is discontinued but you really can’t go wrong with any top coat! Then I will soak my nails in really cold water for several minutes. This helps set the nail polish and resist smudging and dents! Nail polish can take a few hours to completely dry and set so hang out and watch a movie! When it’s dry you can peel off any residue that’s left on your skin if you’re not a perfect painter like me 😂Then every day or every other day I will apply a fresh top coat to keep it glossy and prevent chipping! #cheriepartner
