How To Pick The Best Curly Hairstyles With Bangs？Look at this!
I'm a curly girl with bangs. Recently, most of my curly haired friends complain about how unmanageable their hair is. But on its good days, you can’t deny that you love your curls. We search day in and day out for the perfect hair accessory, only to miss one that’s been right in our face the entire time. Yes! I’m talking about bangs!!! Here I collected some pictures of curly bangs from pinterest to better show how to pick the best curly hairstyles with bangs. 👉For round face If you have a broad forehead, or a round face, then consider these bangs. Your bangs should be graphic, thick and fall just above the eyebrows. The curly bangs will make your face look slim and conceal the length of your forehead. 👉For Long Face If you have a long face, then short bangs are a no-no as they will enhance your forehead. Try long bangs that are either full center or side-swept, and I promise it will look amazing. 👉For Heart Shaped Face A heart-shaped face is the widest at the forehead and gradually narrows down to the chin. Side-swept bangs tapering on the same sides look amazing on heart-shaped faces. Consider feathered shaggy bangs as well. Wispy bangs look incredible on heart-shaped faces. 👉For Oval Face An oval face is angular at the jawline. If you have a pointed jawline, then you have a diamond face. The thing about an oval face is that all fringes look great on it. So, take your pick! It also depends on whether you have a high or short forehead. The way to check that is to see if your forehead is smaller than or bigger than your nose. 🌟Tips For How To Maintain Your Bangs Use a tried and tested shampoo and conditioner that you know works well for you. Don’t change shampoos in between. You can check with a hairstylist on which shampoo and conditioner to use. Trim your bangs regularly. Watch your bangs when you moisturize your face. Make sure you don’t get any cream on your hair. The ingredients you use to moisturize your face might not be suitable for your hair. Hope these tips helpful to you! Curly Hairstyle Routine
For reference, I have type 3A curls and thin hair! This before picture is how my hair looks after going to the beach and after not washing it for 3 days. This is my routine for prepping my hair for any type of activity immediately after I wash it. I’ve already provided information on the shampoo and conditioner that I use, so be sure to check that post and the curly hair tips posts for further details that will help during the washing process. When I’m done with my hair washing, I proceed by adding the aussie - Miracle Curls with Coconut Oil Paraben Free Detangling Milk Treatment . For a more thorough review on that product, please take a look at my previous posts. Following this, I proceed to by brushing my hair with Wet brush - Original Detangler . This is a MUST is you have curly hair and want to avoid losing excess hair. Plus, it is SUPER CHEAP. The Intelliflex Bristles are firm yet soft and covered with SofTips. The bristles are firm enough to pull through the tangles, yet they’re soft enough not to get caught and rip through the hair. It has helped me reduce the amount of time when it comes to detangling and the amount of pain I used to go through. Just remember to always start from the tips and work your way to the top when brushing. I then proceed by wrapping my hair with a cotton t-shirt to help lock the moisture. Depending on how my day goes, I sometimes leave it longer, but generally I leave it on for 20-30 minutes. Then I proceed with the actual hairstyling using a diffuser. CONAIR - InfinitiPRO 1875 Watt AC Pro Hair Dryer Rose Gold Using this hair dryer has accelerated and simplified my hairstyle process! It is pretty affordable and has both ceramic and ionic technology. Ceramic technology is what releases non-damaging infrared heat to your hair, while ionic technology works by using electrons to break the water molecules and, thus, allows the hair to dry faster and more hydrated while reducing frizz. In addition to this, it has a cool setting AND cold setting, which are the ones that I use when I’m styling. DON’T DRY USING THE WARM OR HOT SETTINGS! While this hair dryer does a GREAT job at preventing damage with its technology, hair styling regularly with warm or hot settings diminish the levels of moisture that your hair is able to retain, so you wan’t to avoid that as much as possible. It also comes with a diffuser, so you don’t have to buy one. I finish by adding hairspray. aussie - Sun Touched Shine Hairspray I know many shy away from hairsprays for various reasons, but hear me out. I avoid at all costs mousse and gels, which tend to be much more harmful than hairsprays. Besides, this is ONE OF A KIND. It has UV PROTECTION, JOJOBA OIL, & SEA KELP. There’s no way that this harms your hair. Just avoid soaking your hair in it and you’ll see WONDERS! And VOILÁ! The results are clearly seen with the after picture!

this curly cut completely changed my look!
I can’t believe it took me this long to achieve my super floofy halfway mullet dream do!! (photo 1: my hair now, 3 weeks post cut, hair tucked photo 2: my hair now, 3 weeks post cut, hair untucked photo 3: my hair when it was Long photo 4: my hair right after the cut) after YEARS of thinking about cutting my hair short, i am SO glad i made the leap! i have 2c/3a curls with fairly fine hair that easily gets weighed down with all the length. I had always wanted to boost the volume of my hair and encourage curls beyond just the ends. i had also been considering bangs for a long time but was unsure if I could pull them off as someone with curly hair. with long hair, i found myself putting it up in buns all the time to avoid dealing with messy day 2/3 curls, which ended up being terrible for my hair health and just wasn’t ideal. I knew it was time for a chop what i asked for: big layers with the longest layer just touching my shoulders when curly, thick just-above-the-brow bangs that frame the face and taper down reflections: i loooove this cut! i wanted something that would grow out well since I’m not sure when i’ll be at a salon again and so far so good! i loved the super short look in pic 3 but I’d have to get more frequent haircuts to keep it at that length as my hair grows fairly quickly. it’s super cute and curly now and it becomes a more mullet-like look when i tuck my hair behind my ears. I love that it has a more edgy and interesting look & can easily transform depending on how i wear it that day. if i take the time to diffuse it, the short layers really fluff up to add volume to the roots! (i typically air-dry btw). I’ve also taken to finger-curling (just twirling my hair while wet) to encourage my curls, as they’re v sensitive and aren’t used to curling near the roots. The bangs were something I was so hesitant about but i really like them! As someone with a fairly round face, I was afraid it’d be unflattering, but they frame the face beautifully and have my brow routine super minimal lmao. if you want to avoid having sparse bangs, don’t be afraid to ask for more hair to be included! last benefit of this cut (aside from being able to show off my earring better) is that it’s so SO much easier! Easier to wash, easier to upkeep, easier to style! I use so much less product and don’t have to spend 15 minutes in the shower detangling and fussing with my hair. it’s so much more manageable and stays looking cute for longer! my hair feels so much healthier and no more constantly tying it up and ending up with tons of hair coming out the only cons I have are that you’re more limited in updos. I use a v long claw clip when i need the hair completely out of my face, or a soft headband when I’m washing up (which does push back the bangs and causes a little fuss to deal with). all in all, im so happy with this haircut and can’t believe it took me this long to get it!
