Glossier stretch concealer
Glossier stretch concealer
Felt like swatching my Glossier stretch concealers for those who need to find their shade, since I'm currently quarantining while most likely having corona (I got tested yesterday and it's the 3 day test). Anyway, here's the comparison of Glossier's 3 lightest shades: ✨Note: on Glossier's website, they say to get the concealer shade that's the same as your skin tint's, but I find that the concealer usually needs to be lighter, so I recommend getting one shade lighter in the concealer. The undereye area is usually paler for everyone, so getting the same shade in concealer & skin tint sometimes doesn't help. The Glossier. - Stretch Concealer doesn't cover my undereye bags well, but goes a long way and I love the formula, since sometimes the liquid ones get annoying and are hard to set. This one is easy to set and really stays put - unless you have oily skin, and then you need lots of setting products. Overall, it's a great product and is best bought with the skin tint for $36, so you save $8 and can see what goes together for your individual skin tone. ✨FYI - the undertones of the concealers match the skin tints, making the shades literally identical to the skin tints. G10 - it's pretty tan and it's best for light/medium skin that's a little tan, or as a body foundation, since our faces tend to be lighter than our bodies. It's best to test out the Glossier skin tint & concealers since the undertones don't always suit everyone. G11 - good for yellow and pink undertoned skin, so it's good for light & light/fair skin with some tanness and for year-round use. G12 - best for fair skin since it has pink undertones and is pretty light, making it best for the palest peeps. Hope this helps!! Stay healthy everybody! Also school's starting soon and I hope everyone is able to adjust 💕

Most Frequently Used Concealer
Most Frequently Used Concealer
Skin type: Combination | Skin tone: Light Here are my three frequently-used concealer I want to share with you gals! Glossier Stretch Concealer #Medium| Moyen 20 Glossier concealer is the most moisturizing one among three of concealers. It could blend into skin seamlessly that gives skin a dewy finish. It won’t cake the makeup look, as it’s formulated with elastic micro-waxes that moves with the skin. The shade of concealer should be a bit darker than the skin that could cover the blemishes. So I pick the Moyen, which provides a full coverage. Bobbi Brown Creamy Concealer Kit #Sand I got this one from Sephora. Sales associate recommend it to me, I’ve tried view shades in the store and finally pick the sand color. The formula is very creamy and very easy to apply. This kit also come with a sheer finish pressed powder which surprised me. It works very well with the concealer. I like take this one during travel as it’s convenience. The only thing is it’s a bit pricy, 38 dollars, which is almost twice price as the glossier’s one. Ipsa Concealer (Spf25) This is a J-beauty product and I like it a lot. It’s not as dewy as glossier concealer. But won’t be cakey. The highlight part is it comes with three colors that could meet variety needs. I use the light colors to cover my dark circles, and dark colors to cover pimples and redness area. It provides medium coverage. I love them all as they have different highlight parts. So, it’s kinda tough to pick the top one. I will give them all five stars!

MAKEUP TIPS FOR ZOOM CALLS #quarantinemakeup
MAKEUP TIPS FOR ZOOM CALLS #quarantinemakeup
With all meetings and classes being held online on Zoom now, I have realized the essential makeup tricks to make myself look presentable and glowy on-screen! I know with social distancing no one leaves their home anymore (including me!) but a little makeup always makes me feel mentally prepared to tackle anything! 1) Conceal darkness! Webcams always accentuate the dark circles under your eyes or any dullness in the skin. So concealer is always a must! ESTĒE LAUDER - Double Wear Radiant Concealer in 2W This is my go-to concealer. It has medium/full coverage and a natural satin finish. It never looks cakey no matter how much I build it up and always makes my skin look smooth and flawless! 2) Define the brows! Brows frame the face. So if I want to define my face, it starts with the brows! Even if it’s just “beefing” them up with a volumizing brow gel or filling in the gaps with a skinny pencil, a little goes a long way with brows! benefit - Precisely, My Brow Eyebrow Pencil in 4 This is a great skinny brow pencil. It’s a little creamier compared to my favorites (Fenty Brow MVP & Anastasia Brow Wiz) which tend to be more waxy. Though it lasts really well and works fast! 3) Flutter those lashes! Mascara is a huge game-changer for my face. It adds depth to my eyes and definitely makes me appear more awake on video calls (I’ve tested it out!) HONEST - Extreme Length Mascara + Lash Primer This is one of my HOLY GRAIL mascaras! Surprisingly it’s not waterproof, but holds a curl very well and adds length and volume! I love that it’s a primer/mascara duo because it just allows me to really build up my lashes and fully customize my look! 4) Add a glow!✨ To me, glow means color and shine on the cheeks; a little bronzer or blush and some dewy highlight on top. HOURGLASS - Illume Sheer Color Trio My favorite cream cheek palette ever! The shades are perfection for someone with a light/medium skin tone. The formula is extremely creamy and dries down to a nice satin finish that doesn’t budge! CHANEL - BAUME ESSENTIEL Multi-Use Glow Stick in Sculpting I love the glow that I get from this highlight! It’s pure shiny, dewiness and I love the way it finishes off my cheeks and adds a literal *glow*! 5) A touch of color on the lips! My natural lips are quite light and can sometimes make me look a little unwell on camera if I don’t apply anything with color. Glossier. - Generation G Sheer Matte Lipstick in Like This is favorite MLBB lip color! The formula is a soft-matte formula with a unique creamy texture. The result is always nothing short of a fade, blotted stain on the lips- I love it!

My Favorite under eye Concealer Tips👍
My Favorite under eye Concealer Tips👍
A eye concealer is a commonly used product for permanent blemishes and discolorations. Generally speaking, we want to use a concealer to mask dark circles, age spots, large pores and other small blemishes visible on the skin. And we know the skin around under eye area is more sensitive and thinner. Because of the eyes work a lot throughout the day, from blinking to expressing your emotions, this alone can cause premature aging - eye bags and dark circles. In fact, eye bags are harmless-yet-frustrating skincare woe most of us have had to deal with from Time to time. Concealing under eye area is not hard. I want to share how to conceal under eye areas. Concealing dark eye circles is kind of like a 3 step process 1. First thing first is to counteract the blue or deep purple bags. (If you go straight in with a highlighting concealer or light colored concealer, you are not actually concealing the dark areas underneath the eye since the darkness is still gonna show through) - this step is essential for those with really dark under eye circles. If you have light green circle you can skip this step. 2. Secondly go with a fair light concealer (based on your skin tone) normally you will need to find a color that is a little bit darker than your foundation. Apply it directly to the areas you want to cover with a brush. little by little. With a tiny brush like this, would help the thick concealer to blend out easily and look naturally. Less is more. If you are applying with bare fingers or a sponge, it would ended up with good coverage at the beginning but looks heavy and crease through out the day. 3. The you need to set all these in place by a loose powder. ( A translucent pressed powder would be a good choice here since you dont want to add too much extra product.) Just apply a fine amount underneath the eye just to set the previous steps in place. The product I’m using is LANCÔME - Effacernes Waterproof Protective Undereye Concealer I really like this one since It looks natural and blends easily. The medium bisque 250 W is great for me. My undertones are somewhere between yellow and pink.I love that you only need a small amount, it lasts longer than any of the other high end concealers. The good thing is that It isn't cakey as long as you remember not to use a lot.

This concealer is super lightweight with medium buildable coverage. I use the shade light medium. For my skin tone I usually go for warm medium foundations and choose light medium shades for concealer. This concealer has a small doe foot applicator. There is about enough for both under eye areas. It blends easily into the skin. I bake and set the concealer with translucent powder. It leaves a nice matte finish. I just wish this came in a bugger size like the other Too Faced concealer! I am oily skin/acne prone. Too Faced - Born This Way Naturally Radiant Concealer
