Comparing Aha/BHA masks
Here I’m going to compare two AHA/BHA masks! Aha works to exfoliate skin and clear dead skin cells. BHA works to get into pores and dissolve dirt and oil. HERBIVORE - Prism 20% AHA + 5% BHA Exfoliating Glow Facial herbivore Prism is a 20% AHA and 5% BHA mask. It has a gorgeous clear jelly texture. It feels powerful when you have it on, you can feel the tingle in your skin. I definitely see a difference in clogged pores and comodones due to the high levels of BHA. I highly recommend. DRUNK ELEPHANT - T.L.C. Sukari Babyfacial Mask Babyfacial is similar to prism but it has lower levels of BHA and higher of AHA, the concentration is 25% AHA and 2% BHA. I like babyfacial a lot, it has other properties that make this mask great such as chick pea flour along with pumpkin extract. I notice more exterior exfoliation with this mask due to the higher levels of AHA. So while these masks are comparable I think even so they work a little bit differently and have different strengths. For instance if you want to work on the outside exfoliation of your skin I would go with babyfacial but if you want to work on clearing pores prism might be for you! Overall I like having both so I can choose what my skin needs each week!

The Ordinary first time use ✨BEFORE & AFTER✨
I decided to order The Ordinary - AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution since there was such hype going on throughout TikTok. I think I need to use this product more than once for my clogged pores to really clear out. But it does left my skin feeling soft after a one time use. As instructed, I left it on for 10 minutes. It stung quite a bit for the first 20 seconds. But afterwards it was fine, I couldn’t feel a thing. I washed it off after 10 minutes with lukewarm water. My skin felt softer and smoother. So I think this product does work. But will probably need to be used for at least 5 times to see results of clogged pores being cleared out.

My Skincare Routine For Clogged pores/oily skin
The Ordinary - AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution Yes yes yes lol I hopped on the bandwagon with this one, and so far, I am PLEASED! It truly is a pick me up in this tiny bottle lol I have literally gotten a compliment on my skin within that day of use!! 🙌🏾 If I exfoliate before use I get a sting, but when I rinse my face with warm water before use it’s just a little tingle. I’m trying to see if one way or the other before I apply this makes a difference. Either way I’ll try to post both. The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% Ok so I rated this little baby 4/5 because of the sticky feeling it leaves in my face after I apply it. I read somewhere (which I have to go back and find) this was mixed in with a moisturizer and that helped with application and texture of the skin. This I will be trying as well, other than that this product works wonders for my pores. Definitely shrinks them!!Neutrogena - Pore Refining Cleanser My goodness this cleanser is awesome!! It’s gives my face just the right amount of exfoliation. Leaving my skin feeling so soft, and my pores? Shrunken!! So far no negative effects or purging. In the past when I would use a new cleanser I’d experience purging. My last cleanser I used this happened but I didn’t even continue to see if my skin would start to like it. I just switched up lol BUT I am glad I did.earthtoskin - Tea Time Anti Aging Face Toner Now I am rating this 4/5 simply due to the fact I have only used it once, and I could feel a bit of tightening in my skin but this was only one use. I usually have the best luck with most products within the first few uses then after that it’s either yay or nay. Now this toner does have a very light fragrance to it, but nothing to cause irritation. So I will continue to use it and see how well it works for me.Neutrogena - Sensitive Skin Oil-Free Moisture I really like this moisturizer and once I’ve put it on it gives my skin a nice sleek feel, but later in throughout the day my skin is so freaking oily!! I’m not sure if it’s because this isn’t the correct moisturizer for my OH SO OILY skin or what... Like I said I like it but not sure if those are the results I’m willing to look forward to. Recommendations/suggestions for a moisturizer for oily skin are welcomed and will absolutely be appreciated!!#Jean Pierre Cosmetics - 24K Gold Peel Off Mask[products]#[FourStars] I got this a few years back from Rue 21 and I can say it was a hidden gem! I don’t use it too often because when I do it somewhat dries my skin but once I apply my moisturizer, my goodness my skin look flawless! I looked it up and it doesn’t seem that this is sold on the site anymore but I did see it a few places and my go to was eBay. This peel is a PEEL. It is a MUST to watch your edges, eyebrows, and shoot the few tiny hairs above your lip lol because baby it..is..a.. PEEL lol

Holy Grail Peel for Sensitive and Reactive Skin!
This is my first use of a peel because I have been TERRIFIED. My skin is so reactive and I honestly haven’t even found a vitamin C I can use because they always hurt my skin. This product is a really gentle overnight peel with moisturizing ingredients like glycerine and Shea butter as well as more gentle lactic acid as well as glycolic acid. I have only use this product once and I woke up with baby smooth skin! The second pic is an unedited photo of my skin. Yes, I still have genetically large pores but look at how clean and smooth they look! I will only be using this product once a week (you can use it 1-3x/week) because I am so dry and sensitive. I used my barrier cream after washing this product off in the morning to be safe as well. I got the mini version for $9.99 at Target and it’s going to last me ages! If you’re scared of peels, this is the perfect starter one for you, it made me a believer! VERSED - THE SHORTCUT Overnight Facial Peel

Toner/liquid exfoliatant for acne/ pores/ kheads
This is probably my first Paula's choice products and I instantly fell in love with. This product is no joke and I use this morning mostly and total love it. The TEXTURE is liquid but lil thick more of a essence which absorbs into the skin quickly and I love how Hydrating it feels. It has salicylic acid in it and this product is not at all drying. My acne has reduced so much and this also helps in preventing them from coming. My pores look clearer and noticeably smaller and blackheads are slowly clearing. This is one must have for sensitive acne prone skin or for any skin type. It's so gentle yet super effective. It's has a very unique leave-on formula that’s gentle enough for daily use on all skin types. Exfoliates dead skin cells while clearing pores for a more even, radiant tone, plus visibly reduces fine lines and wrinkles to reveal remarkably smoother, younger-looking skin. Beta hydroxy acid (BHA, also known as salicylic acid) mimics the natural exfoliation process of younger skin by helping it shed extra layers while unclogging and clearing pores. This exfoliant has an optimal pH range of 3.2–3.8. It is priced at $29.50 for a 4 Oz bottle and I think it's reasonably priced since the product is such a good one. And currently they are also having blackfridaydeals so definitely check them out.

Affordable at home peeling treatment
I believe this is a product that needs no introductions. With its distinctive bloody red color, the popular The Ordinary - AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution is a concentrated exfoliating mask treatment that contains a blend of glycolic, lactic, tartaric, citric, and salicylic acid to provide deep skin exfoliation to help fight visible blemishes while improving skin radiance. Other notable ingredients in the formula include aloe, panthenol, sodium hyaluronate crosspolymer, glycerin, black carrot, and Tasmanian pepperberry which helps reduce irritations associated with acid use. This has a red slimy viscous texture that easily spreads onto the skin. Please proceed with caution when using acids especially ones as potent as this. Your skin needs to be completely dry after cleansing, before applying, otherwise you’re going to feel more irritations than usual. Upon application, you will start to feel some stinging sensations as I did. Compared to the sukari babyfacial from DE, this stings a bit more possibly due to the higher percentage of acids. For me, the stinging usually feels more intense when I haven’t exfoliated in a while but it doesn’t ever feel unbearable. If you’ve never used acids before, then please do not use this. This is for those who have had at least some form of experience with chemical exfoliants. Moderate users should begin with applying only one thin layer that should be left on for only 10 minutes as instructed on the packaging but I feel that more experienced users can possibly apply a second layer for about 10-20 minutes depending on how well their skin is accustomed to the product. I’ve been using this once a week for about 7 months now, and I usually apply 2 layers that I leave on for about 10-15 minutes. After washing this off, I can visibly see a reduction in size of my blemishes as well as visual skin clarity. I also noticed that my pores appear smaller, my skin feels smoother, and it looks brighter too. Remember that you should only use this a maximum of 1-2 times a week only. You should also be applying sunscreen immediately the following morning to protect your newly revealed skin. Also, I don’t recommend this for POC skin because the high concentration of AHA can cause problems such as hyperpigmentation. Please always patch test before attempting to use such a potent product. Another tip is that this should be cleansed off using the double cleansing method to ensure you get every last bit of it off. Overall, this is one of the most affordable at home exfoliating facial treatments. It’s easily an alternative for the more expensive babyfacial from DE. But regardless, you still need to take precautions as you can easily damage your skin barrier with negligence use. Take it slow and remember to patch test before trying anything new. If you’ve used this before, what are your thoughts on it? Rating: 4/5 🌟 #CherieCreator #TheOrdinary

My Mental Wellness Improved Through My Self AcceptanceWhen I was around 13 or 14 years old, I remember routinely taking one of my older sister’s black eyeliner pencils before school every morning. I’d arrive early so that I could slip away to the girl’s bathroom to apply a single black line to my eyelids. My parents didn’t allow me to wear any makeup at the time. Although this smudgy line on my eyelids didn’t make me look all that much different, I never felt comfortable at school without it. My teenage mind convinced myself that I needed some sort of cosmetic symbol in order to appropriately express my femininity. Up until that point in my life, society had told girls that looked like me - tall, Black, and with kinky hair - that we somehow weren’t as beautiful as the other girls. For far too long, I believed it too.Feb. 17
