My 10 minute makeup routine 😘✨
My 10 minute makeup routine 😘✨
Hi friends, this is the makeup routine I do when I’m in a pinch! No foundation makes for a more natural glow “my skin but better” feel. I don’t mind my acne showing through since acne is normal ✨ My skin tone is fair, and my skin type is sensitive/combination dry with rosacea & it is acne prone. Here’s my 10 minute routine: e.l.f. - Wow Brow Gel this brow gel is my favorite! It’s $4 at Ulta and the gel isn’t too thick but keeps my brow hairs in place all day and gives them an extra “oomph.” 5/5 vegan & cruelty free! I use the shade “brunette.” Milk MAKEUP - Flex Concealer my favorite go-to for evening out my skin tone. I use the shade “fair.” I dot it all around my red spots and any inflamed spots and let it sit for a few mins before blending it out. It’s not too drying, more of a satin finish. Available at Sephora. 5/5 Rare Beauty - Soft Pinch Liquid Blush this is a mini I have of the matte blush formula in “grace.” I would much prefer to try the dewy formula—this one blends out kind of patchy if you don’t work fast. Regardless, the smallest amount gives you awesome color payoff and this mini will last me forever. Available at Sephora. 4/5 BECCA - Shimmering Skin Perfector Liquid Highlighter this is my all time favorite liquid highlighter. I literally use the smallest amount on my ring and middle fingers and dab it out all over my upper cheekbones over my blush as well as on the bridge of my nose. I’ve had this mini for a long time and highly recommend it! Available at Ulta. 5/5 tarte - LIT Chrome Paint Highlighter this is such a good eyeshadow in a pinch. Shade “bronzed.” I take the smallest amount on the tip of my middle finger and apply and blend it all over my lid and crease. Super easy look! Available at Sephora. 5/5 FENTY BEAUTY - Full Frontal Volume, Lift & Curl Mascara a secret hero! I’m using the new merlot shade, I really want them to come out with a brown shade. It gives me more length and volume and doesn’t irritate my sensitive eyes. Available at Sephora. 5/5 URBAN DECAY - Perversion Waterproof Fine-Point Eye Pen super easy brush-tip eyeliner pen. A bit expensive, plus it mush be shaken up before using or it applies washy. I usually just apply a super small outer wing to extend my lashes. Doesn’t irritate my eyes. Available at Ulta. 5/5 essence - Soft Contouring Lipliner my all time favorite! This lip liner is $2 at Ulta. I apply it all over my upper lips and around my bottom lips. Not drying! 5/5 FENTY BEAUTY - Gloss Bomb Universal Lip Luminizer last but not least. The classic Fenty Glow gloss bomb. Shade “Fenty glow” the perfect glossy luminizer! Not goopy, and tastes great. Doesn’t last super long but is still a hit. Available at Sephora. 5/5 See any faves? #Cherie Partner

Makeup For Video Interviews 🖥✨#CheriePartner
Makeup For Video Interviews 🖥✨#CheriePartner
As a May 2020 graduate, I’ve been doing a lot of interviews and phone calls over the quarantine period for jobs and internships. Along the way I picked a few key tips for achieving a flawless, professional makeup look perfect for video calls. All I want is to make the impression that I’m put together and perfect for the role! Of course, everyone has different kinds of makeup looks, and specific parts of makeup that make it “signature” to them (like a strong winged liner, or bold lip, or even a super bare natural face!). But for me, my “signature” looks is something quite fresh-faced, glowy skin, defined eyes and a tinted lip! Tips: 1) Stay true to yourself! If you never wear a red lip, don’t wear a red lip to the interview. If you always have a beautiful eyeshadow look on, definitely put some eyeshadow on! The truth is, when you feel most like yourself, the more confident you will appear to others. 2) Video calls tend to wash you out, so if you’re applying a color product maybe add a little more than usual! Here is what I used: HOURGLASS - Illume Sheer Color Trio This is a the perfect product to bronze, blush AND highlight the face! The formula is super creamy and soft, but definitely packs a punch with its pigment. The highlight also gives off a beautiful glow on camera! ESTĒE LAUDER - Double Wear Radiant Concealer I don’t feel the need for a foundation on camera as blemishes are generally not visible depending on video resolution. But I have really bad under eye circles that can make me look tired, so I always want a little concealer just to brighten up my face and eyes. This one is medium coverage with a natural finish on the skin. COLOURPOP - Brow Boss Pencil I always define my brows because they help to frame the face. This is an amazing inexpensive one that has the perfect waxy formula for adding fullness to the brows that looks natural. NUDESTIX - Magnetic Luminous Eyeshadow Defining my eyes is important to me because it’s a feature of my face that I really like. So a little glowy eyeshadow helps to bring attention to my eyes, helps me look a little more awake and defines it a little more. MAYBELLINE - Lash Sensational Mascara Full Fan Effect I know it’s near impossible to see individual lashes on video call but it helps a lot with defining my eyes! It also makes me feel more put together too just because I’d feel off if I had a full face of makeup and didn’t have mascara on. lisa eldridge - True Velvet Lipstick in Velvet Muse This is one of my favorite matte lipsticks because it’s super pigmented, non-drying but gives a matte finish. I add a little balm beforehand to keep my lips moisturized and to sheer the color a little. This is definitely a my-lips-but-better kind of shade.

I’ve been out of town for 2 weeks; and this box from the creator event has been sitting here and I finally got the chance to open it. Really excited to try and review all the Flamingo products. As a social worker, I’m absolutely digging Flamingo as they really center the brand around diversity and partner up with mental health organizations! Thank you @cheriefor not only this amazing box, but being a great app that caters to its users. You promote real content for real people. For all other Cherie creators/partners, thank you for being sources of inspiration. I truly love exchanging product information and brand building with you all. Cherie is the epitome of a supportive beauty community. 💕💕💕 #cheriecreator #cheriepartner

🍒 Cherie made me buy it! ✨
🍒 Cherie made me buy it! ✨
I love affordable and effective skin care! However, I do love splurging on certain items especially if they are curated to my skin needs, and if they have good reviews. 🤩 I have always been intrigued by the brand HERBIVORE 🌿 but was always a bit hesitant about dropping my coins on their products. They are a bit on the pricier side (products averaging around $30-50) so I knew that if I bought something, it would have to be worth it! 🙌🏽 Since being on Cherie, I have definitely taken advantage of the multiple reviews that pop up regarding this brand, but more specifically, their PRISM products 🌈 and after much research and talking myself into it 😆 I finally made the splurge! Well, I actually got a good deal with this product because for $56 I was able to get a full size of the mask AND the serum! 😱 The HERBIVORE - Prism 12% AHA + 3% BHA Exfoliating Glow Serum is a great chemical exfoliation for people who have dry &/or sensitive skin. I purchased the Ordinary’s 5% LA back in March but Herbivore’s formulation is much more gentle and adds a lot of hydration back into my skin. It contains: Aloe & Rose Water 💦, Bilberry Lactic Acid, Sugar Glycolic & Malic Acids, and Willow Bark - a natural form of Salicylic Acid. All these are gentle forms of chemical exfoliatora that leave your skin feeling hydrated, bright, smooth and glowing! ✨ it has a gel like consistency and feels soothing to the skin unlike most acid products; a huge plus for me! I typically layer this on during my night time routine after cleansing and follow up with their HERBIVORE - Emerald CBD + Adaptogens Deep Moisture Glow Oil to calm any redness the serum might cause. What product(s) have you purchase due to this beautiful app?! 😍 #CheriePartner

🍒Cherie Made Me Buy It! Pt. 3🍒
🍒Cherie Made Me Buy It! Pt. 3🍒
🍒 I have combination skin so my t-zone is in the range of normal to oily skin and I have dry skin on my cheeks. My skin tone is warm ivory with a slight reddish discoloration in my cheeks I also have some freckles (sun spots) across my cheeks and my nose bridge (which bother me!). I also have very sensitive skin so I am alwyas cautious with new products or else my skin will becom super red and peel! 🍒I wanted to try out a new moisturizer since the moisturizer I was using was almost out. So as I was browsing through Cherie, saw a post by @AmazingStellaabout Kiehls products. After reading her review on the Kiehl's - Calendula Serum-Infused Water Cream I became interested and started doing my research. She did mention that she has oily skin so I wasn’t sure if this product would be good for me. After a few readings about ingredients and product claims I was super interested and... bought the product. This was truly a splurge for me since it was $50🙈 🍒This product is paraben free and includes some amazing ingredients that convinced me to impulse buy it. Hydrating ingredients include propylene glycol, panthenol, glycerin, and of course, calendula flower extract. It also has a really pleasant citrus scent that made me love it at first smell? The scent is super refreshing and light which I love! The citric acid, lemon peel oil, and citrus limon peel extract all contributed to the nice scent and exfoliating aspect of the product. Not to mention, these ingredients are also anti inflammatory and anti oxidants! It also includes as orbit acid which contributes to brightening and anti-aging! The only thing that I didn’t like about this product was the inclusion of dimethicone and sodium chloride since both of these are actually comedogenic. 🍒I absolutely love the texture of this product. Right when I lifted the lid, I was met with a beautiful smooth and bouncy gel like water cream. And if you know me, I’m a sucker for water creams and gel like textures. After applying this, my skin looks so dewy and plump. It glides onto my skin effortlessly and doesn’t leave a tacky feel since my skin absorbs it so fast (probs because I have hella dry skin). 🍒I did read that some people had allergic reactions to this product or that it clogged up their pores. This thankfully didn’t happen to my skin but I 100% recommend you to check out the ingredients for potential known allergens. And if you can get your hand on a sample size for free, do it. It’s pretty pricey for something that might cause a reaction. So make sure to test it on your inner arm if you do get a hold of the sample first. Don’t be like me and impulse buy. #cheriepaetner
