My 10 minute makeup routine 😘✨
My 10 minute makeup routine 😘✨
Hi friends, this is the makeup routine I do when I’m in a pinch! No foundation makes for a more natural glow “my skin but better” feel. I don’t mind my acne showing through since acne is normal ✨ My skin tone is fair, and my skin type is sensitive/combination dry with rosacea & it is acne prone. Here’s my 10 minute routine: e.l.f. - Wow Brow Gel this brow gel is my favorite! It’s $4 at Ulta and the gel isn’t too thick but keeps my brow hairs in place all day and gives them an extra “oomph.” 5/5 vegan & cruelty free! I use the shade “brunette.” Milk MAKEUP - Flex Concealer my favorite go-to for evening out my skin tone. I use the shade “fair.” I dot it all around my red spots and any inflamed spots and let it sit for a few mins before blending it out. It’s not too drying, more of a satin finish. Available at Sephora. 5/5 Rare Beauty - Soft Pinch Liquid Blush this is a mini I have of the matte blush formula in “grace.” I would much prefer to try the dewy formula—this one blends out kind of patchy if you don’t work fast. Regardless, the smallest amount gives you awesome color payoff and this mini will last me forever. Available at Sephora. 4/5 BECCA - Shimmering Skin Perfector Liquid Highlighter this is my all time favorite liquid highlighter. I literally use the smallest amount on my ring and middle fingers and dab it out all over my upper cheekbones over my blush as well as on the bridge of my nose. I’ve had this mini for a long time and highly recommend it! Available at Ulta. 5/5 tarte - LIT Chrome Paint Highlighter this is such a good eyeshadow in a pinch. Shade “bronzed.” I take the smallest amount on the tip of my middle finger and apply and blend it all over my lid and crease. Super easy look! Available at Sephora. 5/5 FENTY BEAUTY - Full Frontal Volume, Lift & Curl Mascara a secret hero! I’m using the new merlot shade, I really want them to come out with a brown shade. It gives me more length and volume and doesn’t irritate my sensitive eyes. Available at Sephora. 5/5 URBAN DECAY - Perversion Waterproof Fine-Point Eye Pen super easy brush-tip eyeliner pen. A bit expensive, plus it mush be shaken up before using or it applies washy. I usually just apply a super small outer wing to extend my lashes. Doesn’t irritate my eyes. Available at Ulta. 5/5 essence - Soft Contouring Lipliner my all time favorite! This lip liner is $2 at Ulta. I apply it all over my upper lips and around my bottom lips. Not drying! 5/5 FENTY BEAUTY - Gloss Bomb Universal Lip Luminizer last but not least. The classic Fenty Glow gloss bomb. Shade “Fenty glow” the perfect glossy luminizer! Not goopy, and tastes great. Doesn’t last super long but is still a hit. Available at Sephora. 5/5 See any faves? #Cherie Partner

Makeup For Video Interviews 🖥✨#CheriePartner
Makeup For Video Interviews 🖥✨#CheriePartner
As a May 2020 graduate, I’ve been doing a lot of interviews and phone calls over the quarantine period for jobs and internships. Along the way I picked a few key tips for achieving a flawless, professional makeup look perfect for video calls. All I want is to make the impression that I’m put together and perfect for the role! Of course, everyone has different kinds of makeup looks, and specific parts of makeup that make it “signature” to them (like a strong winged liner, or bold lip, or even a super bare natural face!). But for me, my “signature” looks is something quite fresh-faced, glowy skin, defined eyes and a tinted lip! Tips: 1) Stay true to yourself! If you never wear a red lip, don’t wear a red lip to the interview. If you always have a beautiful eyeshadow look on, definitely put some eyeshadow on! The truth is, when you feel most like yourself, the more confident you will appear to others. 2) Video calls tend to wash you out, so if you’re applying a color product maybe add a little more than usual! Here is what I used: HOURGLASS - Illume Sheer Color Trio This is a the perfect product to bronze, blush AND highlight the face! The formula is super creamy and soft, but definitely packs a punch with its pigment. The highlight also gives off a beautiful glow on camera! ESTĒE LAUDER - Double Wear Radiant Concealer I don’t feel the need for a foundation on camera as blemishes are generally not visible depending on video resolution. But I have really bad under eye circles that can make me look tired, so I always want a little concealer just to brighten up my face and eyes. This one is medium coverage with a natural finish on the skin. COLOURPOP - Brow Boss Pencil I always define my brows because they help to frame the face. This is an amazing inexpensive one that has the perfect waxy formula for adding fullness to the brows that looks natural. NUDESTIX - Magnetic Luminous Eyeshadow Defining my eyes is important to me because it’s a feature of my face that I really like. So a little glowy eyeshadow helps to bring attention to my eyes, helps me look a little more awake and defines it a little more. MAYBELLINE - Lash Sensational Mascara Full Fan Effect I know it’s near impossible to see individual lashes on video call but it helps a lot with defining my eyes! It also makes me feel more put together too just because I’d feel off if I had a full face of makeup and didn’t have mascara on. lisa eldridge - True Velvet Lipstick in Velvet Muse This is one of my favorite matte lipsticks because it’s super pigmented, non-drying but gives a matte finish. I add a little balm beforehand to keep my lips moisturized and to sheer the color a little. This is definitely a my-lips-but-better kind of shade.

Hey guys! So today I’m gonna be talking about some of my new fav skin care trends and how they’ve helped my skin so far! I have combo sensitive skin and I struggle with hyper pigmentation and moisture during the winter months. Recently I’ve started using a method that has been referred to as glazing as well as slugging. I personally like the glazed donut name lol it’s cute! But I discovered this method via a very reputable esthetician on Twitter (@MakeupForWOC) she’s this amazing esthetician and I’ve been following her for years and all her recommendations have come in handy. She personally uses Cerave healing ointment but y’all I can’t find this stuff at any of my local stores. Everyone is sold out. So I heard from her that you can also use some sort ointment like petroleum jelly. Vaseline - 100% Pure Petroleum Jelly, Original I decided to use one infused with coco butter and let me tell y’all it’s a great dupe until Cerave becomes available! 🍩Now I’ve been doing this for about a week and a half now and I already notice a difference in my moisture barrier. My skin feels more hydrated and soft. It seems to help everything sink in better! Now I only do this at night as my last skin step before bed and just do my normal skin care routine when I wake up. I definitely recommend this if you’re someone like me who struggles in the winter months to keep your face moisturized and hydrated! Another Trend that I’ve recently incorporated is a retinol serum. This is meant to help diminish dark spots and even out skin tone. I’ve only been using the CeraVe - Resurfacing Retinol Serum for about a week and I can’t really say it has done too much of anything. I do like that it is a lightweight formula containing ingredients like licorice root extract. Licorice root is said to help with inflammation and gentle brightening effects. I’m going to give it another week or two and check back in! Have you tried any of these trends? And if you have do you like them? Let me know below! BESOS 😘

🍒Cherie Made Me Buy It! Pt. 1🍒
🍒Cherie Made Me Buy It! Pt. 1🍒
🍒 I have combination skin so my t-zone is in the range of normal to oily skin and I have dry skin on my cheeks. My skin tone is warm ivory with a slight reddish discoloration in my cheeks I also have some freckles (sun spots) across my cheeks and my nose bridge (which bother me!). I also have very sensitive skin so I am alwyas cautious with new products or else my skin will becom super red and peel! 🍒I have never used Th Ordinary products before but I keep seeing them over and over on my feed in Cherie. One that stood out to me in particular is a post by @Glossy.glossary. She has tried a whooping 21 The Ordinary products over the span of 3 years!! Her review made me look into The Ordinary products and which ones are best for my skin type. Since it was my first time using one, I wanted to try out a product that is not too harsh on the skin so I targeted dryness first. 🍒I chose The Ordinary - ''Buffet'' because claims that it is good for dryness and I feel like I suffer from dryness more than oiliness. This produt is good for pretty much all types of skin: normal, oily, combination, dry, and most importantly, sensitive skin! Not only does this product help with drynes, it also claims to help with fine lines, wrinkles, dullness, and uneven texture. It is vegan, cruelty free, gluten free, fragrance free, and paraben free! I used this product for about 3 months and I feel like its pretty good. I like how there is no fragrance and absorbs into my skin pretty well and preps my skin for the next step. It is water based so it definitely provides high hydration and plumps my face. #cheriepartner

Euphoria is a t.v show on HBO that I do not watch so I honestly can’t tell you too much about it. What I can tell you is the show is known for their makeup done by artist Doniella Davy. The show uses bright and daring eyeshadows, bling around the eyebrows etc. This look is definitely not everyday wearable for me but I had so much fun trying this trendy makeup out. Products used: Eyeshadow: MORPHE - Morphe X Maddie Ziegler The Imagination Palette $25 -Beautiful range of colors -Slightly chalky in texture but did not have a problem with blending/fall-out Mascara: L'ORÉAL - Voluminous Lash Paradise Mascara -One of my fave drugstore mascaras. -The brush is fluffy which allows for volumized lashes. Highlight:URBAN DECAY - Naked Illuminated Shimmering Powder for Face and Body -This highlighter is extra glittery and very buildable. -Apply with a damp brush to add even more shine. Rhinestones: from my local $ store How to: (follow along with video) I would love to see any Euphoria-inspired looks you come up with!
