Blackheads treatments for acne skin
These products saved my acne skin! 👸🏼
La Roche-Posay clay mask 😃 I have had acne all my teenage life and into my 20’s, I’ve tried everything and until now nothing helps at all! This is a French drug store product that is sweeping the board for acne skin, hands down, no problem. It’s so great, what’s important to me, it’s not expensive 👍 This mask does exactly what it says on the box, un-clogs pores, controls shine, cleans without drying out my skin, leaving my skin feeling soft and clean and ready for my hectic day! I got mine on Amazon, it was on offer with the moisturizer, they do that from time to time! You really won’t be disappointed with the results, I promise! 💋 La Roche-Posey daily gel moisturizer 🙏🏽 Use this after the clay mask as it locks in all the benefit I got from the mask. This is so great for acne and I have found that it stops that horrible shine you get with oily skin and calms any breakouts. My purse is not unlimited, so I need something that is going to work that won’t break the bank and really gives me confidence. So good! What’s more, it works quickly to reduce the appearance of spotty skin, even blackheads. 👛 Primer by The Ordinary - ain’t nothing ordinary about this primer! 💥 Amazing product at an amazing price! So, so good. I love this primer because it hydrates my skin and blurs any acne spots or scars. What’s so great is you can use it under makeup or alone, it will make your skin look flawless, peachy even! 💘 Easy to apply, melts into the skin, feels SILKY to the touch! No heavy perfume smell you get with some products, so it won’t hurt your skin. The Ordinary brand seemed a little scary at first as it is all about the science, but it’s the science that makes this primer work and it works amazingly, all for a low price! So good! The primer keeps my make up in place all day long, morning till night and keeps those dry patches from coming back. At this price, it’s a win-win! You can thank me later! 😀
LA ROCHE-POSAY -Effaclar Duo Dual Acne Treatment
Do's and Dont’s for Acne-Prone Skin
Last year I suddenly suffered from breakouts and blackheads on my nose and my skin started to dry and sensitive. · Products Kiehl's - Calendula Herbal Extract Alcohol Free Toner LA ROCHE-POSAY - Effaclar Duo Dual Acne Treatment Kiehl‘s Calendula Herbal Extract Alcohol-Free Toner refreshed my skin. The toner helps to reduce the blackheads on my nose and clear the pores. The texture is thin and the smell is natural. I use pads to apply this toner on my face to release my dryness. I use La Roche-Posay’s Effaclar K(+) Moisturiser for Oily Skin after applying the toner. This product really controlled and healed my face. I found it is great for healing my acne-prone skin. I applied and massaged this product on my nose twice to three times a week and the rest of my skin kept the normal face routine. However, I found it is a bad habit to only apply this product on my nose because it cannot prevent generating new blemishes. The right way to do is to spread a thin layer of this evenly on my face. After using this for a few weeks, I noticed a difference in my skin. It unclogs my pores and reduces my blackhead. My skin becomes smoother and my lines lighter. My face turned to matte. Although this product contains salicylic acid, it is a mild product that brings my face a fresh feeling. · Tips Besides skincare products, there are still some tips to help acne-prone skin. I wash my face only twice per day and only use clean warm water in the morning. Washing face throughout the day could irritate the face and lead to more breakouts. What’s more, do not squeeze breakouts. It could cause inflammation and face could suffer from more serious problems. If squeezes the breakouts, the acne will be long-lasting. It also makes skin pain and the scar is very hard to disappear.

Are you troubled by acne, blackheads, and coarse pores? Follow the weekly skincare routine, and you may solve it!
Do you know the skin type could be changed? I was oily-skin type 4 or 5 years ago but now combination type with only T area oil while another area normal. If you are trouble by oily skin, or acne, blackheads, and coarse pores caused by it, you can try my skincare routine. Firstly, you have to know why the skin goes oil. One of the factors is sebaceous glands. When sebaceous glands go active, your skin will secrete oil. Except for metabolism, sebaceous goes active when the skin dehydrated. The other factor is cleansing. If you can not remove the dirt or makeup altogether when washing face, the skin will also secrete oil. Thus, choose the right cleanser and hydration product! You can do deep cleansing once a week (Twice a week is also excellent if needed). My weekly skincare routine is: EVE LOM - EVE LOM Cleanser Multi-award-winning product. The key ingredients are clove oil, eucalyptus oil, hops oil, Egyptian chamomile oil, and cocoa butter, which are all-natural ingredients that are good for cleansing and smoothing. You can put some balm on face and massage for a while (feeling the lotion spreading over as oil). Then, use the muslin cloth of the same brand (In some promotions, you could receive it as a gift) or wash your face with hands. ORIGINS - Clear Improvement Active Charcoal Mask to Clear Pores It is specialized for clear pores. Active charcoal can draw out deep-dwelling cloggers from the pore. It works better if you use warm towels to open pores first. You can wear the mask for a while. When you start to feel dry, you can wash the mask away. Normal skincare routine. Use product signature for hydration, for example, ORIGINS - Mega-Mushroom Relief & Resilience Soothing Treatment Lotionand Kiehl's - Ultra Facial Cream For me, I stick to the routine for a month; the skin showed much better than it was. Sometimes it even stayed oil-free for a whole day! Also, to improve the skin condition and make it healthier-looking, it will be useful to eat less fried food and sweets at the same time. Try it for a month, and you will see the difference!

Top products for hormonal acne!
A few weeks ago I made my first post about my top products and I thought I would add them in post with why I love them so much! THE BODY SHOP - Jumbo Tea Tree Oil The Body Shop’s Tea Tree Oil has been a staple in my routine for a few years. Normally oils I have tried clog me up or just sit on top of my skin drying me out. This was the first that was not only lightweight enough to absorb into my face but under a good moisturizer, made my milia bumps and blackheads disappear. If you do have hormonal acne and have been debating whether you should buy, definitely try it out. I’ll usually pair with their Tea Tree-based face wash and my skin feels extra clean! bliss - Micro Magic I only started using this as of late because I received it as my birthday gift from Ulta but all I have to say is WOW. I have a weird skin type that, according to Renée Rouleau, is type 3 (combination, sensitive skin prone to acne and clogged pores requires careful antibacterial and smoothing BHAs to deliver maximum clearing benefits without leaving the skin feeling tight or irritated) meaning I need to exfoliate more often than the average person. Most exfoliators are quite harsh, and being that my skin is sensitive, I can’t really afford to be making tears in my skin with St Ives and such, but this is a perfect blend!! It not only contains bigger beads that aren’t so aggressive but the cleanser also leaves a moisturized and hydrated feel. 10/10 definitely the best scrub/microdermabrasion I have used! LUSH - 1000 Millihelens This I won’t get too into because as much as I love it, they stopped selling it around Christmas time last year. This product was my miracle mask last year and I’m so sad they don’t make it anymore. It’s main ingredients are witch hazel and green tea so it’s made for acne and redness. I believe you can buy it on EBay but it’s much more expensive than I would like. The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% This product is probably the best acne product I have used. It is very lightweight, and also helps with milia bumps, acne, and most importantly redness. I highly recommend for any skin problems and for the low price of $6.50! Fourth Ray - Matcha Face Milk This milk is amazing! Super hydrating and smells great. TONYMOLY - I'm Real Red Wine Mask Sheet This is the best paper mask I have used. I see a few poor reviews but think it is one of the best for redness. SCINIC - Dual Rubber Soothing Wrapping Mask As much as I love the red wine mask THIS IS THE BEST MASK I HAVE EVER USED. Super hydrating and takes 15 minutes to sink into your skin. It may slide off but once you adjust it, you’ll wake up the next day with the most hydrated face ever. CLINIQUE - Limited Edition Moisture Surge 72-Hour Auto-Replenishing Hydrator MOST HYDRATING MOISTURIZER EVER
My go-to products for pore cleansing and acne calming
Here I want to talk about my go-to match for deep pore cleansing and acne calming after cleansing. I’m acne-prone skin, easy to get pimples during the period. These two products really save my life. Mario Badescu Silver Powder Silver Powder contains a super-absorbent formula that unclogs pores, minimizes blackheads and promotes an overall healthier complexion. It contains Titanium Dioxide and Zinc Oxide, natural astringents that clear and tighten the pores on your skin. Diminishes blackheads in just minutes. Since it is powder type, I usually use a small spoon to get a little amount of it, then add in some water to melt it. Don’t use too much water. If the texture is too thin, it is difficult to stay in the place where the pores are visible. After 10 minutes, it will dry out. Use a cotton pad with water to remove it. Then you will get a clean pore. This product really helps my pore congestion. I also felt tightening of my pore size. Thursday Plantation Tea Tree Medicated Gel for Acne Then comes Thursday Plantation Tea Tree Medicated Gel for Acne. After deep cleansing of pores, my skill will not be oily. Too much oily will congest pores and lead to acne. That’s the reason why I need to calm my acne after pore cleansing. This gel has a strong scent of mint, which makes me feel that it works. The cooling sensation will keep my skin calm. No more breakouts appear after this deep cleansing routine. This combination is good for pore cleansing and acne calming. But I have to say don’t use this match too frequently. Overly cleaning will make your skin not that healthy.

Affordable way to tame oily skin and acne
Some acne honesty: Just want to say first, that when I was seriously struggling with acne after going off birth control I know this helped, BUT this wasn’t a product that actually cured my acne. I think this mask is great and is an affordable way to treat oily skin and shrivel up blemishes, but for me it provided more short term relief. Just wanted to put that out there and be honest. I would describe this mask as a mini detox for your skin. Anytime I’m feeling like my skin needs a pick-me-up (feeling congested, noticing some blackheads or see a blemish starting to form). And I do see results almost instantly after using the mask. The good: + The salicylic acid does help tame clogged pores, acne and keep excess oils at bay. You will notice a difference almost immediately after and the next morning. + Doesn’t irritate the skin. + Provides some mild exfoliation, which leaves the skin smooth but not irritated. + AFFORDABLE. Gotta love it. + Easily accessible in Canada. We have a couple stores here where we can get the Ordinary products. Or you could just order from Sephora. + While the mask does harden after about 8 minutes, it doesn’t crack or get uncomfortable. + My skin feels clean after but not too tight or “squeaky”. The not so good: - I find the benefits to be fairly short-term (days / a week). - This won’t magically make your pores or acne go away. But it definitely helps! Worth it? Totally! It’s affordable, does its job and gives me an excuse to put on a face mask and watch a million YouTube videos. Would I repurchase? Yes, especially since it’s so affordable. PS The pic was supposed to be a play off of “mask and chill”... I tried 😅🧖🏼♀️
