This is by far the most underrated drugstore foundation ever. I have been using this for years and the finish genuinely looks like your skin but perfect. It provides enough coverage to cover any uneven tones in the skin but still let your skin shine through. It has a satin-dewy finish depending on how you apply it, but my favorite way is with a beauty blender for that extra glow. This is my holy grail foundation

Battle of the Foundations: Matte or Dewy?
Wet n Wild’s Photofocus foundation gets a lot of genuine platitudes, and for good reason. It’s cheap, blends easily, and has a nice medium coverage. I recently picked up the new “dewy” version meant to look more glowing than their regular matte variation. After swatching the two versions I have (one is much lighter and a different undertone as it is my husband’s) however, I don’t see much of a difference in effect, though both work well. Each foundation has been blended onto e.l.f. - Oil Control Primer Mist to see how they stack up. I’m sure you’re looking at the second picture and asking, “what the hell am I looking at?” You’re not alone. It was nearly impossible for me to take a pic that shows the minuscule subtle astronomically tiny difference between the two. Yes, the dewy version has a sheen to it absent in the other, but unless you fly to my house and come wiggle my arm around in the sunlight you’ll probably miss it. So what does this all mean? Well, I’m sure by layering a different primer under each you’ll get different results. I chose to use one of my only primers that isn’t specifically trying to be either matte or dewy. I actually use the dewy version consistently enough to say that it does have a sheen to it, but that’s because I tend to use a dewy primer (and it tends to be almost too shiny). At any rate, both of these foundations work very well for the price in terms of coverage and texture. I’ve even mixed this into my SPF moisturizer and it blends well. They offer coverage while looking like real skin, and I find that they layer onto various different primers without issue.

Having fun with pink!💕
So I just got the James Charles eye shadow palete and what can I say other then IM IN LOVE!! What I did for this cute pink look: 1. I put the neon pink color in my crease. 2. Then I wanted to darken it up just a bit so I added the burgundy color with just a touch of the neon pink. 3. I then attempted to cut my crease. 4. Then with that same burgundy color I put it on my outer corner and blended. 5. Then I added some eyeliner (completely optional). 6. Add some mascara (maybe add a lash) and finish up with whatever you use for your base makeup. Kim Possible Villain💚(attempt)
Well it’s that spooky season so why not do a cute Halloween look inspired by the infamous green villain from Kim possible😈💚 -How I did it?✍️ 1. Applied my base makeup as I normally would. 2. Started doing my black smokey eye using lighter browns and slowly darkened my crease with darker browns. 3. Then I applied black eyeliner (pencil eyeliner) and slowly made my lid black. 4. Added my black shadow and I blended away to try and make it look as seem less as possible. 5. Then in my inner lid (tear duct area) I added a light green and topped it with a light highlighter. 6. Finally for my under eyes I just smudged some brown at first then did just a touch of black. 7. And of course did black only on the top of my lip (even though I think it looks like a stash) -What I would have done differently🤔 I would have done a more neon green smokey eye instead of black. And I also would have topped it off with a cat eye liner flick, I feel like I would have looked more like the character but oh well. -Products Used💄 Eyes -tarte - Maneater Eyeshadow Palette V2 -MORPHE - The James Charles Palette -benefit - BADgal BANG! My first ever “balm” foundation 🖤
I’ve used liquid, powder, and stick foundations but never a balm before. Kevyn Aucoin Beauty gifted me their foundation balm. This unique foundation retails for $52 for .07 oz. It comes in 20 shades which I personally find really lacking. I really like the slim packaging as it’s really easy to store in my collection and it does come with its own buffing brush. I’m personally a sponge kind of person so I use a sponge to apply this to my face. I was shocked at how lightweight and natural it looks when applied. I was expecting it to feel really heavy because it is a balm but it feels and looks like skin. It’s full coverage but I still have a few spots that peek through (which is expected and happens for me with any foundation). I just take a little bit more on my sponge and I can easily build up in areas I need without it looking cakey. I personally think this foundation looks better without setting it with a powder. That being said with or without a powder this does transfer on me. If anything slightly touches my face it does rub off. I personally have oily skin and it does break apart the tiniest bit on me because it doesn’t “dry down” like other foundations I own but that’s also to be expected with the formula. I think this would be a fabulous winter foundation or a really amazing option for someone with more dry skin. It does have hyaluronic acid and avocado oil so if you need a foundation that has a little bit more to it for hydration this would be it. I have the shade Light 02 and I find it matches me pretty well and I don’t notice any oxidizing. All in all this isn’t my absolute favorite foundation but I do like it under certain conditions. I do think it’s over priced and I don’t like the fact you don’t get a full fluid ounce but if it’s something you’ve been interested in I think it’s definitely worth a try.

Smoothest base / no pores or fine lines
Who doesn’t want smoother base ? 💕🙋🏻♀️#clarinsgiftedme . . I really never believed in primers and base before , I mean ya they help somewhat for your foundation application until I found this OMG ! . . . It has ultra-light melting texture, which smooths out wrinkles like a dream and leaves an velvety veil over the skin ! This formula is the perfect combination of makeup and skincare. My pores , smiles lines were gone like they were never there. It has amazing ingredients like Acacia micro-pearls smooth while Vitamin E hydrates and nourishes. . . . 💕I apply it before foundation application only where I see some pores and smile lines and my foundation looks so flawless and beautiful! Sometimes I wear it in it on when I’m not doing any makeup and my skin looks smooth and matte! . I absolutely love this base/primer and must try in my opinion if you are looking for one ! 💕✨ $39/14 g
