At home wellness: what does this mean to you? To me it means getting creative, unfortunately with my anxiety I had to take time off work because I work in health care were we are constantly working at it was too much for me with recent events. I think at home Wellness is being able to express myself through makeup because this makes me happy. Do you want to see more makeup looks ?

With no end of sheltering at home in sight, I’m taking my solo solo time to the heart; I want this time to be relaxing yet productive, and to really just be in tune with myself. So here is my glow up plan: MIND: read read read. 1 hr in the morning, 1 hr in the night. BODY: workout every day! 3-4 miles running, arms (banded bicep curls, band pull apart, push ups), abs (plank, plank pushups, v-ups), glutes (banded squats, leg lifts, crab walk) NUTRITION: greens greens greens! Proteins and healthy carbs. But also, the occasional ice cream or cookie bc I gotta have fun too. SOUL: daily meditation and breathwork for 10mins at least HOME: keep tidy and clean, Marie kondo my closet AND vanity ( so.... much... product) HEART: pray, write, and talk to my loved ones each day FUN: dance, watch movies, and eat cookies! Clearly I love cookies SKIN: I just got a new, clean skincare routine that I’ll share in my next post. Hope everyone is healthy and happy. Please stay indoors and hopefully take this time to be grateful for your health! I hope our govt gets their ish together and better protects us in the future, too. And that small businesses make it out of this alive 🙏🏾

As a Chinese girl who is now studying in Australia and also has the certification from the American Council on Exercise as a personal trainer, I think this week's new topic is absolutely designed for me. And now I'm gonna talk to you about the wellness at home during this special period, and share some effective protection measures about the Novel Coronavirus from the Chinese experience. I was in China for my summer holiday from January to march, which was the worst time for covid-19 there. It was quite dangerous and irresponsible to go to the gym(enclosed space and crowded with people) or go running outside then. And I don't think anyone would wear a mask while running outside, which was obviously not in compliance with the government regulations. Since covid-19 patients may not have any symptoms for 1-2 weeks after infection, they could already infect others before they realize that. In other words, you would never know whether the "healthy" person you encountered has already been infected by covid-19 and whether they could infect you. Considering the worst situation, I chose to buy a home elliptical machine and did aerobic exercise at home. Apart from that, I also bought a yoga mat and several yoga bricks to do some self-weight training at home. Moreover, I purchased a Nintendo's Switch and the popular switch game "Ring FIT Adventure", which completely integrates exercise into the fun game. Even if you don't have any fitness knowledge, you can still enjoy yourself and achieve your fitness goal! There are a lot of fitness movements in this game, allowing you to complete your training in the process of breaking through the levels. I really recommend this game to all of you guys!! Back to mid-march, I returned to Melbourne, intending to continue my graduate courses. Sadly, as the covid-19 in Australia started getting worse, residents in Australia were required to stay at home and minimize unnecessary outings. That means I still couldn't go out and have to exercise at home. Given that Australia would not be a long-term place for me to live, it seems unnecessary to buy large fitness equipment such as elliptical machines. So I decided to give up aerobic training during this time. Promise me, do not go to the gym or go out for jogging at a time like this. Compared with the aerobic training interruption for a while, we should be responsible to ourselves, others, and our hometown! Although I dropped the thought of the aerobic training, the self-weight exercise on yoga mat can still continue by, for example, using some big bottles of water as the dumbbell. If you never go to the gym before, and have no idea of how to training, I can recommend some good fitness app for you, like seven, workout for women, 30 day fitness, 8fit and so on. Some need to pay, while others are free of charge. You can pick the one that makes you feel great to complete your home training goals. 🙆🏻‍♀️Tl;dr 👉🏻Elliptical machine: suitable for reducing weight and strengthen cardiopulmonary function, but the price is high 👉🏻Switch Ring FIT Adventure: Ideal for fat burning, highly entertaining, most recommended, not too expensive 👉🏻Self-weight training: The most cost-effective way of home wellness and suitable for everyone. All you need is a yoga mat, and you can follow the fitness app to complete your exercise. Finally FYI, everyone should wash their hands frequently and go outside as less frequently as possible. So I’ve finally convinced my 8 and 10 year old that green smoothies are fun and tasty! We’ve been trading in sugary cereals for healthy morning smoothies made with tons of fruit and lots of greens! Add a ripe banana or honey and watch them drink it all and ask for seconds! I’m happy to provide nourishing at-home wellness foods to my family.

Okayyyy so, we all are stuck at home...but we gotta stick through it! This is in our best interest right now so we can do it! I’ve been loving some online shopping and sales & these are some of my new Sephora purchases! I love to plug in my twinkly lights & salt lamp, make some coffee and yummy food, and relax. We rarely get a time to breathe and just simply be, so take that time now! Read a book, take a walk, do some yoga, color a picture, do a face mask...anything that puts your in a great state of mind! My at home wellness routine is keeping me positive and cozy through this anxious time 🤍🤍🤍🤍💕💕💕💕

Hope everyone is staying safe and healthy at home! I've been working at home and spending A LOT of time sitting at my desk. I created this mini wellness corner on my desk to keep me calm and every time I look at it it makes me feel so happy 🤩 SOL de Janeiro - Brazilian Bum Bum Cream I got this one as a sample and it smells amazing! I use it as hand cream and it gets the job done. Wish it was more moisturizing but I've got multiple hand cream products here😝 REN CLEAN SKINCARE - Rose O12 Moisture Defence Oil I bought this face oil a looonngggg time ago and I'm pretty sure it's expired already. I feel bad just throwing it away so I've been using it on my hands. Probably won't buy it again since I've found a better rosehip oil from the ordinary. billie - Super Salve this is a part of billie's new skincare line. It's a hydrating lip balm with interesting flavors (mine is parsley😉) and many healthy oils (sunflower oil, avocado oil, etc). I've been using it everyday and it works great! Maybe I'll try the other colored ones next time. Jo Malone - Peony & Blush Suede Body Crème Oh Jo malone, I wish I could love you. I know a lot of people like their peony fragrance but this body creme smells way too strong and it even gives me headache sometimes. Definitely won't buy again 👎 Candle is from P.F.Candle Co. It's their sunset series. This one is called "swell" and it's pretty swell indeed. 🥰
