CHERIE APOSTROPHE GIVEAWAY PRIZE
⭐️I was one of the winners of Cheries Apostrophe giveaway!⭐️ As promised, I got a free dermatologist consultation and a free 3 months supply of the prescription made for me. It came in the mail last week, and these are my first impressions after one week of use!! • after sending in my pictures of my skin and providing information on what I use in my routine currently, I was prescribed with a topical cream Apostrophe - Topical Formulathat is 0.025% tretinoin and 4% niacinamide. This made me hesitant because I was already using 0.1% differin gel. I was worried the tretinoin was not strong enough for my acne, but I was reassured when the dermatologist let me know that the tretinoin is more effective and stronger! • when I got the package and opened it, the presentation was soooo cute. The box was simple and aesthetically pleasing, and the cream came in this cute yellow and white box shown. A how-to guide was provided with information about the brand, and also there was a pack of stickers!! I put some on my bottle and on my skincare fridge! • the topical cream feels like a cream, and I use a pea size amount every other night. I do notice it dries pretty fast, much like my differin gel. • I’m happy I’m starting with the 0.025%, because my face has been sensitive this week! I always use sunscreen but a noticeable difference so far has been the dryness. I have been irritated around my mouth mostly, which is expected. This should go away soon as my skin adapts. So far, I am liking the product. I need more time to see a difference in my skin and acne, but I am in love with the aesthetic of the brand! Thank you so much @cherieand Apostrophe for the prize!! *DISCLAIMER- during my use of the topical cream, I have NOT been using any exfoliators or my differin gel. I also have not been including my niacinamide serum.
How was my experience with Apostrophe? 😯
First, thank you cherie for having these awesome giveaways. They are doing merry cherie giveaways, so check them out on Instagram. 🤗 I received two codes in my email. One for my free visit. And the other one for my free prescription. Now, this was very new to me. I filled up some questions, and personal information. I took some pictures of my face to show them my skin problems. I submitted this form and used my code. I didn’t have to pay anything for myself pocket. 😃 Dr. Kyle contacted me within two days and informed me about my new prescription. She told me the way I should apply it. When, and with what. Like I said, I was new. But this all process my smooth and quicker than a common dermatologist appointment. After I read my prescription and went ahead and purchase a 3 month refill. Which was totally free was well with my prescription code. It finally arrived today, tell me why this is so cute. 🥰 The stickers are a plus. I received more indications and the stickers are supposed to make your prescription look more like you. I received a Azelaic acid formula 15% with Niacinamide 4%. I am really hoping this will help me with my redness and scars. As well for my breakouts. I still haven’t try it yet. I will began my treatment tomorrow and when I see results I will show them here. Thank you @cherie again!
So far I am super happy with how my skin is looking! I started on January 6, and today is February 16. The end of my 90 days will be either at the end of March or at the beginning of April, so I’m about halfway there. The struggle for me right now is that my skin changes day to day. One day I will wake up with lots of cystic pimples, and one dat, like today, my skin will have none. I definitely still have dark marks, but I’m okay with that for now! As long as they aren’t active I am happy lol. I still seem to get acne flares on my period, which is discouraging considering Spironolactone is for hormonal acne. I’m just trying to trust the process🧐 I realized that I haven’t talked about my daily morning and night routine, so here it is! Morning: -cleanse with either PEACH & LILY - Power Calm Hydrating Gel Cleanser or CeraVe - Hydrating Cream-To-Foam Cleanser -moisturize with either PEACH & LILY - Matcha Pudding Antioxidant Cream or FIRST AID BEAUTY - Ultra Repair Cream Minis Original & Cranberry Pomegranate -apply spf with Supergoop! - Unseen Sunscreen Broad Spectrum SPF 40 -my makeup routine At night: -remove makeup with DHC - Deep Cleansing Oil -cleanse with CeraVe - Hydrating Cream-To-Foam Cleanser -moisturize with FIRST AID BEAUTY - Ultra Repair Cream Minis Original & Cranberry Pomegranate -apply a pea sized amount of .025% Tretinoin formula from Apostrophe - Topical Formula -and of course some Aquaphor - Healing Ointment Skin Protectant on my lips before bed!

Update with the Process...
I'm going to be totally honest😔 I know it has only been a month with Apostrophe (and other recommended products by their derm) but so far I am not liking the outcomes. The first week I started off by putting the prescription on 3 nights a week. My face definitely got irritated the first night which led to my decision on limiting the usage. I started to use the prescription everyday by the 3rd week. Since then I have not felt like I've had any improvements on my acne. I am not giving up just yet, but I do hope to see some improvement at least by March. 🤞 🌼Apostrophe - Topical Formula 🌼CeraVe - PM Facial Moisturizing Lotion 🌼CeraVe - Foaming Facial Cleanser For Normal To Oily Skin 🌼CeraVe - Hydrating Facial Cleanser 🌼Neutrogena - Neutrogena Hydroboost Water Gel Moisturizer

3 months of tretinoin
I’m finally starting to feel confident and good in my skin from these products! ——- 2020 brought me the worst breakouts I have ever experienced. I’ve learned that I am a stress breakout type of gal. Any hint of stress and my whole face is covered in comedonal acne. I have been on such a journey to clearing my skin back up! I’m almost there 🙏 Apostrophe - Topical Formula I started using tretinoin with apostrophe back at the start of November. Getting started was really easy and I loved that I could get a prescription without having to head into the dermatologist. If you have no clue what else to do about your skin concerns, then I highly recommended checking out apostrophe. Getting some of my acne to clear up has really boosted my self esteem. Tho we are all beautiful regardless, it was sometimes hard to feel good with bumps all over my face. I’m far past feeling bad about my skin, I still feel beautiful and if you’re having acne problems as well, just know YOU ARE STILL BEAUTIFUL NO MATTER UR BREAKOUTS! - Products that have helped my skin: Kate Somerville - EradiKate Daily Cleanser Acne Treatment @katesomervilleskincare Eradikate Acne cleanser - this has 3% sulfur in it and it is actual magic. My skin has dramatically changed in the last two weeks from this cleanser. @florskincare Propolis toner has been great for aiding in clearing my skin with fighting off bacteria and soothing inflammation. Apostrophe - Topical Formula @hi_apostrophe custom tretinoin + clindamycin topical cream is what really boosted my skin to clear up. I have been using it for 3 months and it’s really the supreme of my routine. Dr. Jart+ - Ceramidin Cream @drjart ceramidin cream is my actual savior from dry and painful skin. Tretinoin will dry your skin out and this has been the only moisturizer to keep my skin balanced and hydrated. - It’s been quite a journey and an emotional one, but I’m happy to share it with this community because I know I’m not the only one who has struggled with their skin. My DMs are always open for help or advice for anything. Happy almost weekend everyone! *these photos are not edited, but all shot in different lighting.*
