KERACARE Curlessence Line & My New Fave Tool!
Hey guys! So it’s not too often that I actually have a full line of products from start to finish from the same brand. Today, though, I had the chance! While visiting my friend I saw her collection of hair products and just had to ditch my originally planned post and ransack her cabinet. I was able to find not only KERACARE but KERACARE’s curly and natural hair line, Curlessence. I’ve always been a fan of KeraCare and their salon grade products so I had high expectations. Let’s get into it! KERACARE - CurlEssence Moisturizing Shampoo This shampoo was good in the sense that it did clean my hair, however, perhaps because I am used to using African Black Soap and SheaMoisture - Jamaican Black Castor Oil Strengthen & Restore Shampoo that I am more familiar with a deeper clean. My hair felt clean but not as clean as it could be. KERACARE - Moisturizing Leave in Conditioner Loved using this conditioner! I used it with a plastic bag(of course round out there plastic caps after the fact). I went under the dryer for around 25 mins. Then took a shower and rinse at the end with cool water. My hair felt super soft. Would definitely use again! KERACARE - Moisturizing Leave in Conditioner Above average leave-in conditioner but I have tried others that are just as good if not better. Like the amount that came in the jar though. It would definitely last you. KERACARE - Moisturizing Coco Water I loved this! It had a pleasant smell and I liked using as a base for the other styling products I followed up with. This reminds me of a light curl refresher. I see a lot of curl refreshers marketed as milks and it’s nice to see a super lightweight yet super moisturizing product that kinda does the same thing. KERACARE - CurlEssence Curling Jelly I honestly think I could of skipped this step. As you can see in the video, this jelly is kind of the goopy gel texture. Like it’s it jam but it’s not jelly either. I could do without it. KERACARE - CurlEssence Curl Activator Now this stuff right here is the truth! I can definitely see myself buying this to use. I loved the consistency of this product and now it absorbed into my hair pretty easily. Smelled great too. I’m always cautious about using creams and gels for my thick 4b, 4c hair but this worked well! Lastly, I used this amazingly cool device for my hair! We got it at a near by beauty supply store and it did not disappoint! Similar to the sponge method, this tool creates the prettiest coils super fast. I can’t wait to use it again! Have any of you guys tried this brand! What do you think about it?

Keracare Shampoo and Conditioner
Shampoo and conditioner is like the foundation to a good wash n’ go. It’s always hard for me to find a shampoo that doesn’t dry out my hair, and a conditioner that actually moisturizes. The Keracare Curlessence Moisturizing Shampoo and Conditioner really surprised me in those departments. The shampoo didn’t leave my hair brittle, and the conditioner made my curls super soft. I found that my hair was moisturized and soft even after rinsing out the products! This company sent me these products for PR. I don’t know too much about the ingredients, but I know they are sulfate and paraban free. This was my first time using these products and I definitely l will be reaching for them more often. I used the conditioner as a deep conditioner by leaving it in for five minutes and putting on a shower cap. I noticed that this made the conditioner a lot more effective and locked in the moisture for a lot longer. This is a product I would re-purchases because it is affordable and great for curly hair!KERACARE - CurlEssence Moisturizing Shampoo
