THIS DERMATOLOGISTS FAVORITE NEW CLEANSER
THIS DERMATOLOGISTS FAVORITE NEW CLEANSER
Cleansers are an essential step in everyone’s skincare routine, but it can be difficult to find the right one for your skin. The new Aveeno Calm + Restore nourishing oat cleanser has been my new go-to daily cleanser and I love it. ❤️🙌 Aveeno has always been a brand to create formulations that target dry and sensitive skin and this cleanser is no different. This cleanser is great for people all skin types but would likely benefit dry or combination skin most. The incorporated oat complex helps restore build the skin’s moisture barrier and soothe itchy skin. There is no stripping effect with this cleanser, which is something too always look for with your cleanser. Other pros about this product are its fragrance free (limiting any irritant reactions) as well as great pricing. On amazon, you can find a bottle for under $10.‼️‼️ TRUTH: If you are trying to fight acne or blackheads I recommend against this cleanser and try finding something with salicylic acid. Have you tried the new Aveeno cleanser? Let me know your thoughts in the comments! ⤵️

Simplified My Skincare Routine
Simplified My Skincare Routine
This is the best my skin has looked I think ever! My boyfriend actually commented on how good it looks (he doesn’t notice things like that). My skin looks brighter, my dark sports are less noticeable, I have less acne on my chin line, and the texture on my forehead is basically gone now. Here’s my routine: AM: Sometimes I cleanse in the morning. When I do I use:Aveeno - Calm + Restore Nourishing Oat Facial Cleanser I then use: Mad Hippie - Vitamin C Serum I recently started using this and it has made a WORLD of difference After vitamin C it is super import to use a sunscreen. I’ve been using: Krave - The Beet Shield PM: If I have done a workout or had work (12hr shift in the ER) I use: SMACNE - Acne Treatment 30 Day Kit If I have had an easy day I cleanse with the Aveeno mentioned above. Next I put on: e.l.f. - Holy Hydration! Face Cream - Fragrance Free then I’m all done! My review of the products: e.l.f. - Holy Hydration! Face Cream - Fragrance Free I’m not in love with this moisturizer but it gets the job done and is not crazy expensive. Put your recommendations below:) Krave - The Beet Shield I like this sunscreen it doesn’t leave a white cast and does not have a strong fragrance. It is a little oily which works for me during the winter but if you have very oily skin you might want to stay away. I gave it 4 stars because even though I like it, it is pretty expensive especially for the small package you get. SMACNE - Acne Treatment 30 Day Kit This has got be to where I am today! Look at my previous review to see how much it helped me. I can’t seem to completely get rid of it. It started becoming irritating to my skin during the winter months so I only use the cleanser 3-4 times a week and the treatment as a spot treatment on occasion. I would highly recommend to someone struggling with acne Aveeno - Calm + Restore Nourishing Oat Facial Cleanser have been really enjoy this cleanser for a light clean (I don’t wear makeup) Mad Hippie - Vitamin C Serum LOVE LOVE LOVE this is the only new thing I have added to my routine and it has made such a difference!!! Even my boyfriend has noticed how wonderful my skin looks and I my diet has no changed if anything it’s gotten worse. (These changes are after 2-3 weeks)

My new holy grail in skin care

I tend to have itchy, dry skin and the cold weather only makes it worse! I decided to look into finding a body wash that helps with dry and itchy skin. After having such great results with Aveeno’s ultra calming night cream, I decided to try their skin relief body wash. I feel like this body wash works so much better for me then CeraVe’s daily moisturizing lotion, which genuinely shocks me! Aveeno - Skin Relief Soothing Shampoo The body wash claims to gently cleanse and leave skin feeling slightly moisturized and soothed. I can say that it left my skin feeling just that!! I have heard quite a bit of buzz on Aveeno’s calm and restore sensitive skin nourishing oat cleanser. I was so curious and I really wanted to try it! I honestly was surprised with how soothed my skin felt! I will still be using my dermatologist prescribed wash for acne, however this will now be my go to. The body wash and the face wash claim to be fragrance free. I will say the face wash did have a slight smell. I think from what I’ve heard is that the “no fragrance”part on there means they did not addartificial fragrance, and that the natural fragrance, from the oats, is what I smell!

I’m tired of trying
I’m tired of trying
Hello! I just wanted to start off with saying that I have posted a picture a few months ago and asked for advice. My skin was breaking out with cysts and was very irritated. I took the advice from others and started using less harmful products. I started using a Tea Tree oil wash from trades joes and my face got a bit better. I also included the The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% . After using that I noticed more breakouts and stopped. Jump ahead a few months. My skin was getting worse, the scars got terrible and I decided to go to a dermatologist. She wasn’t much help. She told me that if I was using any face washes/produce with acid, such as salicylic acid, that I should stop and start using a gentle cleanser, which I used Aveeno - Calm + Restore Nourishing Oat Facial Cleanser . She also recommended DIFFERIN - DIFFERIN Acne Treatment Gel When I started this I was a bit skeptical because I was used to washing and using all sorts of products but still continued. I noticed my breakouts were going down, but the scars were still there. After using the DIFFERIN - DIFFERIN Acne Treatment Gel for a few weeks, I noticed no change. My redness wasn’t going down, nor were my scars disappearing. I was so frustrated from trying so many things, and trying to be patient with a lot of products. I then decided to visit the dermatologist once again, because now I really needed help. It was a different doctor and he told me that to clear acne, and scars, it has to be from the inside out. He prescribed me medication, Doxycycline Hyclate. I’ve been taking it for almost 4 weeks, and still had no results. He said to be patient, and I am, but I’m just getting discouraged because my face is very bad. I want to know what truly helped you guys with acne scars, or what helped you guys with actual acne. Thanks to all those who took their time to read 💞

Trying the New Aveeno Calm + Restore Line
Trying the New Aveeno Calm + Restore Line
I was so excited to finally get my hands on the new Aveeno - Calm + Restore Nourishing Oat Facial Cleanser , Aveeno - Calm + Restore Oat Gel Moisturizer and Aveeno - Calm + Restore Triple Oat Serum . I have been using it for about 3 weeks now, and I wanted to share my thoughts with this line! I was so excited to see Aveeno come out with this line for sensitive skin. My skin is SO sensitive/acne prone and I’m always worried trying new products. I really like the face wash. It has no fragrance which I really appreciate. This is one of the only face washes that actually leave my skin soft and moisturized when I’m done washing my face. The only thing I don’t really like is that it does not lather or suds at all. I like to have a little bit of lather when trying to remove makeup, so I use my trusty CeraVe - Foaming Facial Cleanser For Normal To Oily Skin first if I have makeup on my face, then use the Aveeno to finish. If I don’t have makeup on, I just use the Aveeno. The moisturizer is my FAVORITE of this line. It’s actually my favorite moisturizer I have used. It is definitely thick, but it absorbs into the skin very well as well as having no fragrance. It leaves my skin so soft and moisturized. Last but not least, the serum. I do like this serum, it also leaves the skin very moisturized. It does feel a tiny bit thick on the skin and a tiny bit sticky, but not terrible. This has no fragrance as well! Overall, I truly love this line by Aveeno! I think all the products are great for sensitive skin, beings that I have had no reaction or issue with it on my extremely sensitive skin. I also have acne prone skin in which none of these products caused a problem with that. I truly hope they continue with this line, because I will continue to buy it, ESPECIALLY the moisturizer. Have you used this yet? If so, what are your thoughts?

I like to do my makeup just to wash it off🤡➡️😊

If you’re a heavy make up user you have to double cleanse. My favorite to double cleanse with is SKYORGANICS - Organic Jojoba Oil You can pretty much use any oil that is non comedogenic, vitamin E oil, castor oil, rose hip oil. Try to stay away from coconut oil studies have shown that it’s likely to cause acne. I lather this onto my dry face & neck and just massage, I let it sit for 1-2 minutes. Letting it sit for a few minutes will really lift the mascara or eyeliner by the eyes or your lipstick and will be so simple to just wipe away! I than will go in with FIRST AID BEAUTY - Pure Skin Face Cleanser gentle and sufficient, I’ve not changed this cleanser out of my routine for about a year now and I love it. It lifts up the oil and the makeup leaving my face still nice and soft. I sometimes do one more cleanse because I’m alway scared of un wanted makeup stuck by my hair, even though these two steps will be more than enough. I will follow up with a basic gentle cleanser whether that’s my VANICREAM - Gentle Facial Cleanser or LA ROCHE-POSAY - Toleriane Hydrating Gentle Face Cleanser or Aveeno - Calm + Restore Nourishing Oat Facial Cleanser All of these cleanser are great option for safe ways to make sure all your make up is off. I hope you guys enjoyed this post!❤️
