Boost collagen with peptides!
Boost collagen with peptides!
If you’ve looked into anything to do with anti-aging,you've probably come across the term "peptide". Peptides are the building blocks that make up protein. They act as messengers to increase collagen production. While collagen has been a long-used ingredient in skincare, it was found to be such a large molecule that it had trouble penetrating the skin and didnt actually serve the purpose formulators wanted the to- aka boost collagen- because, well they wernt getting in! SO, we can use peptides! Turns out, applying topically may increase your body’s production of peptides for skin. In response to these signals, your skin may boost its production of collagen peptides. This is an amazing peptide-rich routine. If you want to look young forever- these products are IT. Peptides are the building blocks thats help aging skin repair and appear more youthful, and vitamin c combined with peptides in the two Vichy products boost collagen production! Glowing from the inside out with Glow Food
Glowing from the inside out with Glow Food
Glow Food is everything. This product comes with everything you need- literally. Today’s topic is EGF. Epidermal Growth Factor. So much research has gone into this protein- and the take-home is that it stimulates cell rapid cell growth. This means that it stimulates your skin to grow new skin cells, faster. Thats right, new, “young” skin cells- and in large numbers too! This is especially helpful because as we age because, cell turnover and proliferation slow down, and we dont generate as much as we used to, which is where the anti-aging properties come into play. It basically helps make up for what we’ve been missing as we age. Beautytechcosmetics research shows that the EGF in Beautytech - Glow Food increases cell proliferation, slowing the aging process down by reversing skin thinning, improving age spots and loose skin, boosts collagen and elastin and increases the skins capacity to store water- more hydration! #cheriepartner

Always matching my nails to my products
Always matching my nails to my products
Matching my nails to my products has been one of my biggest missions after starting my beauty platforms, and honestly this has got to me my favorite one! A rose gold flakes matched peefectly with the glittery, pink, rosy Beautytech - Glow Food mist. I had my nails done shellac at a salon, almond shaped with a very simple mission to have gold flakes on a transparent neutral colour. The OPI - Long Lasting Nail Polish Infinite Shine 2 base shade used here was Bare my Soul- literally the most perfect nude/neutral transparent colour. The flakes were placed on top of the colour coat with a tweezer. The flakes actually come pretty large but they’re very fragile and break very easily so it was easy to place small pieces and have the pieces look irregular. A clear coat was then placed on top to seal the flakes in place. I got these done at the nail salon so she already had the flakes, but you can actually find gold/silver flakes on amazon. Tips: -Pick up the flakes with a tweezer and as they touch the wet nails, allow them to rip apart. -seal with one or two layers of top coat and buff out the nails if needed to flatten the flakes if theyre not completely submerged in polish. #cheriepartner

Probiotics in skincare
Probiotics in skincare
I love @beautytechcosmetics so much, I’ve been following them for a long time and appreciate so much how in depth they highlight and explain the active ingredients in their products. They back up their claims with scientific research, and give awesome pictorials in their InstaStories all the time. I learn something new about their product every week, and I really love how technical they get in their explanations 🙌🏼Their mist and their serum have an amazing cocktail of ingredients including probiotics, peptides, hyaluronic acid, EGF, topical botox and ceramides. The conclusion: this is the product we all need and all deserve. All the active ingredients do something amazing for the skin, but today I’m going to talk about probiotics. This particular product is a probiotic and peptide mist. It contains lactobacillus ferment, a skincare probiotic ingredient that has been shown in clinical trials to calm rosacea-prone skin and acne-prone skin, as well as other dermatitis reactions. Bacteria live in all of us 🦠 They exist in our bodies in a mutual relationship with our organs in what is called “flora”- on the skin this is called “skin flora”. Probiotics are the “good bacteria” that exist in this flora and maintain a balance with the bacterial population in the flora. One of the reasons all those skin concerns happen is from an imbalance in the flora (bacterial population has skewed more to the non-probiotic bacteria) and a good way to solve that is to reintroduce a dose of probiotics to the skin, and rebalance the flora again. On top of that, research has also shown that probiotics can help tighten the spaces between cells where collagen, elastin and HA naturally occur, preventing toxins from traveling further into the epidermis, preventing breakouts and aging too! The less space their is for toxins to enter, the better, and the more these spaces can be filled with HA, collagen and elastin, the stronger and more plump your skin will be. All thanks to these little guys 🦠 #cheriepartner
