Innisfree Seawater: frootloop fragrance?
I have most of this Innisfree Seawater line and the fragrance IS a bit strong at first. Not bad in any way, just noticeable. But what is it? Reading the reviews, I came across descriptions such as ‘fresh’ and ‘clean’ but also ‘smells like frootloops’. Frootloops?!! I thought to myself, surely that can’t be right! But applied the serum again last night and yes...there has a distinct fruit or citrus scent. If I had to put money on it I’d say orange or tangerine as my closest guess. But why a citrus scent in a ‘lava mineral seawater’ product? Innisfree didn’t even bother to respond to me with what the actual fragrance IS, so probably won’t be getting an answer to either question. Now don’t let my talk about fragrance put you off of this stuff! The Toner, Emulsion, Serum and Cream Mask are all wonderful products! They all do what they promise and make my skin feel like the most delicate soft touch of a rose petal. The fragrance isn’t overpowering or headache inducing in any way. Its not flowery or chemical at all. Don’t let my queries on the fragrance steer you from trying it, especially if you can get ahold of a trial set! And if you have this line, or have tested it, I would love to hear your thoughts!innisfree - Jeju Lava Seawater Lotion
