I absolutely adore all of these products and LOVE the results they have given me in a short amount of time (2-3weeks)!! I do a double cleanse first, starting with: BURT’S BEES - Cleansing Oil Balm This product literally melts off a FULL face of makeup!! Glitter eyeshadows and all. I rate it the full 5 stars but if I could rate it higher I Would Second I reach for: CeraVe - Renewing SA Cleanser For Normal Skin This non-greasy formula makes my skin so soft and clears up acne, current as well as past! I get acne mainly around my jawline and chin, with the most painful being on the sides of my cheeks, and this not only brings out all the puss, dirt, bacteria, and sebum, but also dries out my acne and helps with my oily skin!! After I make sure my face is washed and dried, I grab: The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% I LOVE THIS PRODUCT, but the only reason I gave this a 4/5 stars is because when you rub in the product it almost becomes like a soap and has the white cast that I’m not a fan of. That being said, I’ve learned to pat the serum into my skin rather than rub, and it’s light weight and helps with the over production of oil I used to have before using this “magic in a bottle”. Also, it helps with acne past present and future. Makes me want to go makeup-less more often! Finally, I reach for my: CHRISTOPHER DAVID - Vitamin C Serum This helps with brightening up my skin and giving it the proper amount of moisture back to it. I have oily skin as I’ve said up above and live in VA where it can get humid as HELL, and this helps gives the proper amount of oily to help my skin look flawless and glowy. The only downside I would say about this product is that A LITTLE GOES A LOOONG WAY; use it sparingly. One a week, I use: The Ordinary - AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution The HYPE is real with this one! I used to use hard scrubs like Saint Ives and charcoal sugar scrubs to help with the dead skin on my face, but I’ve learned that I was doing more harm than good, so when I saw all the amazing reviews, I just had to try it! I was impressed INSTANTLY after I washed it off!! The soft flawless skin almost brought a tear to my eye, and it was well worth the wait (it was sold out EVERYWHERE)!! ***Not pictured: hydrocolloid bandages from CVS: I love these better than the mighty patches or peace out pores. More cost effective for sure and in my opinion work better than the small patches. The second picture is how much puss was taking out of a pimple on the side of my cheek!! 😱😱 Having beautiful skin gives me such confidence in myself and I always thought it would be a constant battle with finding the right products and having to spend an arm and a leg on trial and error trusting to achieve the look of flawless skin. While I’m still learning to love my self all in all, I’m falling in love more and more day by day!
