Asian Beauty’s Very Own ‘LA MER’
Asian Beauty’s Very Own ‘LA MER’
Pre-puberty everyone’s skin is amazing. So it begs me to question, can I get my skin back to what it used to be? I hopped on the Curology train and after almost 3 years, I achieved closer to clearer skin. Now with all the products I have used and raved about, I thought my skin looked pretty good but nowhere near what it used to be. 🌞 I’m missing that youth glow up with that bounce (((vibe))). My mom has been going on about The History of Whoo and Cheongidan Nutritive Cream (almost $400 😱) and how much it has helped her with its anti-aging effects and sent me a lil’ care package. I have to say that after using the luxury Korean skincare brand, The History of Whoo -- the return of that glow up MAY BE POSSIBLE!! 1. The history of Whoo - Gongjinhyang Essential Moisturizing Balancer 2. The history of Whoo - Gongjinhyang Essential Nourishing Emulsion 3. The history of Whoo - Gongjinhyang Intensive Nutritive Essence 4. The history of Whoo - Gongjinhyang Intensive Nutritive Cream 5. The history of Whoo - Intensive Nutritive Eye Cream Basically dubbing The History of Whoo as the LA MER of Korea and is most compared to Sulwhasoo products. The packaging gives you a traditional oriental vibe that makes you feel like an empress. The brand concept is: “Premium royal court cosmetics for today's empresses. A modern reinterpretation of the royal court secrets.” It does have a certain smell to it because it contains deer antler, snow lotus and wild ginger. WOW? I mean what is that?? But does it work though? After 3 days of use, my skin was already reinvigorated. 😽I just had a baby boy and I kept thinking how baby-smooth he is. Now our skin is the same softness. At first application, you will look dewy. It’s got a shiny look to it but it will absorb quickly and it doesn’t feel sticky at all. After 7 days, I’m in love. Forget my 🖐 TATCHA - The Dewy Skin Cream I’m moving on. Not only am I soft as a baby’s bottom but I’m looking whiter and more radiant. I achieved softness that I never achieved with using TATCHA for months! My acne dark spots are fading away, and my pimples are flattening out faster. I’m not sure if the eye cream is necessary. I mean I have crazy dark circles and eye bags from taking care of a newborn! 👶 Applying it does have a cooling effect. My eyes do feel more “awake” but I don’t think it does much for my starter wrinkles. Then again, I don’t think this is supposed to be super anti-aging. The cheongidan line is but not gongjinhyang. My mom lives in Asia and has access to asian beauty skincare products easily but I don’t. 😿 I’m going to need to re-up on this faster which will cost a hefty price. There is a Gongjinyang set for $117 on Amazon if you’re interested let me know in the comments for the link. I’m already checking out to get it on my iPad. 🤩
