AM I DOING THIS WRONG ?! 🥴
Along with everyone else, I’ve been gushing about Selena Gomez’ Rare Beauty line. The packaging, colours and purpose behind the products is all beautiful. I was so excited to get my hands on the soft-pinch blush, for me fall is the perfect time to switch over from a glowy bronzer to a soft pretty blush. I got the matte finish in ‘Love’ which is described as a warm terracotta colour. I hate to be this person, but I’m not quite sold on this liquid blush. 💪🏼 |PERFORMANCE| I honestly found this so difficult to apply, when following the website instructions to remove the excess from the applicator then apply one dot to either cheek I legit had clown cheeks. It’s truly SO pigmented. Also I have a lot of texture in my skin so I found that the product sometimes sat very obviously in my pores and it wasn’t easy to buff out. I started applying it by removing as much from the applicator as possible then lightly brushing a powder brush across it to pick up as little product as possible and THEN applied that to my cheeks. 🤲🏻 |TEXTURE| Creamy texture that buffs out to a lightweight powdery feel 👃🏻|SCENT| Normal cosmetic scent 💦 |INGREDIENTS| This formula contains a blend of lotus, gardenia, and white water lily to help soothe, calm and nourish skin. Its vegan and cruelty free and is also free of sulfates SLS and SLES, parabens, formaldehydes, phthalates, mineral oil, retinyl palmitate, oxybenzone, coal tar, hydroquinone, triclosan, and triclocarban 💸 |VALUE| This blush goes for $26 CAD for 7.5ml, with the amount of pigment in this blush 7.5ml will last you forever. I would like to try this blush again in a softer colour, and give it another chance. But for me right now, it’s not worth it for how challenging it is to apply evenly. Have any of you tried the blush ? What did you like/dislike about it? Rare Beauty - Soft Pinch Liquid Blush

Rare beauty review ✨
Hi Cherie! Welcome to my 1st review ✨ Shout out to @honeybrifor sharing this app with me!! SO, Rare Beauty.... I got these products THE day it launched and immediately filmed this video. It’s been a good few weeks since then & these are my thoughts.... Foundation: Off the bat..... LOVE IT 👏 Buildable coverage, very light and comfortable. Rare Beauty - Liquid Touch Weightless Foundation Concealer: Just like the foundation, buildable and very comfortable! Though I like it, it’s not my first pick when I’m looking for coverage. However, I do find myself reaching for it when I want a light coverage/natural day. Kudos for not creasing on me either! Rare Beauty - Liquid Touch Brightening Concealer Blush: YES. I’m a blush ✨freak✨. Very pigmented but that doesn’t scare me 😉 I will say (along with the liquid highlight) that it got VERY patchy over powders. Like, BAD. To the point where I had to take off my makeup & start over. For reference, I have my liquid favs that layer easily and great after I have set my face but that was not the case for these. Aside from that nightmare, once you use this correctly.... BEAUTY 👏 Rare Beauty - Soft Pinch Liquid Blush Highlight: Beware of my mistake stated above but love this for an everyday dew. Have been using it a lot but if I want something more blinding, I look elsewhere. Rare Beauty - Positive Light Liquid Luminizer Brow Pencil: EEEEKK. Pencil is 🗑. The Gel side is great though! I would def be open to buying the product if it was just the gel. The pencil is WAAAY too thick and pigmented for my liking when it comes to brows. Rare Beauty - Brow Harmony Pencil and Gel Primer + Setting Spray: The primer feels very nice and is illuminating for sure! Under makeup, it’s a nice glow from within but if you sometimes like to use an illuminating primer on no foundation days (I do), it’s a bit TOO much. Rare Beauty - Always an Optimist Illuminating Primer The setting spray has quickly become my fav!! I can’t say it helps prolong makeup but I LOVE a refreshing spray even when I’m all natural. It smells like a spa and melts makeup into my skin Rare Beauty - Always an Optimist 4-in-1 Mist Lip: LIP SOUFFLE. YOU NEED IT. I LOVE IT. Long lasting and VERY comfortable. Rare Beauty - Lip Soufflé Matte Lip Cream Brushes: Foundation brush is very nice and applied creams like a dream. Though I like the Rare Beauty Foundation, I actually like the brush for foundations that are a bit thicker!Rare Beauty - Liquid Touch Foundation Brush Same goes for the concealer brush, I prefer it with other products! The concealer is a bit too watery and hard to control with the brush, so I prefer my sponge. Rare Beauty - Liquid Touch Concealer Brush What are your thoughts on Rare Beauty?

🚨NEW RELEASE: Rare Beauty + ND Glam Palette 💞
Hey beautiful! I got my mini Sephora haul this weekend and tested out some new make up releases. I got some products from Selena Gomez’ rare beauty and the new Natasha Denona glam palette! Not going to lie, when Sephora announces Selena Gomez’ new make up line I rolled my eyes. Another celebrity makeup release. I thought it was just another cash grab, but when I found out that some proceeds will go towards mental health, I was intrigued. I am a huge advocate of mental health so I bit the bullet and purchased it along with the glam palette. This is my first Natasha Denona palette actually. I’ve been wanting the gold palette and the biba palette, but didn’t think that the $129 price tag is worth it. I wasn’t too intrigued with the bronze palette so I purchased this as my first one! Starting off with the Rare Beauty products, I am impressed with the foundation and concealer. Both are light weight and easily melted in to my skin and I didn’t spend much time blending. I was impressed with the finish as well. It is natural and a radiant finish. It truly is a “your skin but better” foundation. It looks like skin and doesn’t look like I’m wearing any face makeup. I am impressed with the shade range too. I usually have trouble matching foundations, but the Sephora skin shade match online really knocked it out of the park. The liquid blush is beautiful and really gives that glow from within look. I got the shade “joy”. This really packs a punch so a little goes a long way. I have medium to tan skin tone and this shade is LOUD. I had to spent extra time blending it out otherwise I look like I broke out and had a rash reaction 🥴 I might have to return this and trade it for another shade. If you have lighter skin tone than me BEWARE. Rare Beauty - Soft Pinch Liquid Blush The lip soufflé is a beautiful and comfortable on my lips. I’m not a huge fan of liquid lip products because my lips are on the drier side, but this doesn’t crack and feels so soft. I’m also in love with this shade. I got the “courage” shade. However, I don’t think it’s worth $20 because NYX has a similar product so I wouldn’t repurchase Rare Beauty - Lip Souffle Matte Cream Lipstick Natasha Denona eyeshadows feels luxurious. I didn’t spend much time blending because it pretty much blended itself. I can see why ND eyeshadows are on the pricy side. I also don’t own too many cool toned shades so I’m glad I got this palette. It’s subtle enough for everyday wear so I can see myself picking this up on the daily NATASHA DENONA - Glam Eyeshadow Palette Overall, I think Rare’s foundation and concealer are worth it. They are a little bit cheaper compared to other higher end foundations. However, I’m iffy about the lip and the cheek products. I love ND’s glam palette and can see myself using it often. Francesca 💋

New Holiday Set ✨Best of Rare Beauty ✨
The holidays are right around the corner and that means that holiday sets season is upon us! I love holiday sets because they're the perfect way to test out a brands products usually for a better price point. Since Rare Beauty launched last month I've wanted to try out everything from the brand, but I as a former makeup and skincare hoarder I'm trying to be a much more conscious shopper so I didn't pick anything up, until now. The Rare Beauty - Best of Rare Beauty Lip & Cheek 2 Piece Mini Duo is the best way to try out both of their liquid blush formulas - matte and dewy - and both the lip products. I picked it up from Sephora for $28. Lets jump into the reviews! Rare Beauty - Soft Pinch Liquid Blush so I wanted to love these so bad! They just didn't live up to my expectations. The matte shade was extremely hard to blend and left little dots all over when I tried using a makeup sponge to blend (check out my last photo). It basically dried down as soon as I applied it. The dewy shade was easier to blend and looks great, but both formulas required a lot of blending because they're so pigmented. I love blush, but these very quickly turned into clown cheeks on me. I ended up using a stippling brush to apply which was a lot better than the sponge, but left way too much pigmentation. I applied over unset concealer and had issues so can't imagine trying to apply over full coverage foundation. I don't think I'll be picking up a full size. Rare Beauty - Lip Soufflé Matte Lip Cream I love the shade Transform. It's the perfect deep red and feels extremely comfortable on the lips. I do wish it was a bit more full coverage and that it dried down completely so they wouldn't transfer. They aren't my absolute favorite but I would pick up another shade. Rare Beauty - With Gratitude Dewy Lip Balm was my favorite product of the set! It's super hydrating and has a beautiful dewy finish. I love that the color is buildable and the shade "Support" is a gorgeous deep nude. I'll definitely pick up the full size of this balm! #CheriePartner

Pop of Blue 💙 Khloe Kardashian Inspired
Hey beautiful! I finally tried RawBeautyKristi’s collab with Pür and used her double sided pressed pigments palette today 🎨 I was searching “fashion week” makeup and came across this image of Khloe K from 2017. She is wearing neutral bronze and browns with a pop of blue eyeshadow. I decided to try out this look using my new pür palette. Upon swatching , I had a feeling these were going to be pigmented on the lids and easy to work with...and I’m glad that I was right. These pigments pack a punch, but easy to blend out. Sometimes the downside of highly pigmented shadows is the difficulty of blending it out, but that was not the case at all with these shadows and they are buildable. The shimmer formulas remind me of the super shock shadows. This is so worth the wait and I’m glad I picked these up 💙 This collection is limited edition and I think they have a few left on pür’s website, but I’m not sure. I would pick this up if they do! PÜR - PÜR X Raw Beauty Kristi Double-Sided Pressed Pigment Palette To achieve this look, I used: 1) My Sigma E35 brush and applied camelot as a transition shade. Any fluffy brush will do 2) Using the same brush, I dipped in to my whole heart to blend out the edges 3) With my Sigma E25, I packed told you on my outer crease then blended it out 4) To deepen the crease, I grabbed my Sigma E30 and packed you’re not my real dad on the outer corner. Any pencil brush will do 5) I used my finger to apply golden ticket all over my lid 6) using my E30 brush, I applied hurtful all over my lower lash 7) using the same pencil brush, I used my whole heart to blend out the edges of hurtful 9) I grabbed my Morphe JH39 brush to apply cafe disco on my inner corner and brow highlight 10) I applied a sharp winged liner. I used my Stila liquid liner 11) to darken up my water line, I used a black pencil liner. I used Bodyography in the shade onyx 12) I was going to use a subtle falsies, but I couldn’t find my lash glue 😡 I think this would definitely make the look! Just apply 3 layers of black mascara. I used Essence lash princess 14) For the lips, I used Colourpop’s lip liner in Ashton and ultra glossy lip in rattler. Both are from the That’s taupe collection. I am super impressed with CP’s ultra glossy lip from this collection. The color is actually opaque and the wand reminds me of my Kylie’s lipgloss. It is actually soft and not stiff like my Kathleen Lights gloss. It seems they added a scent too. It smells like vanilla cupcakes! I’m glad CP finally fixed their shoddy gloss wands! This is the perfect middle ground between neural and dramatic. It is soft enough to wear in the day time while adding that little edge. I hope you try this out and thanks for reading! Xoxo, Francesca 💋 #CheriePartner
Rare Beauty-Liquid Touch Brightening Concealer
GRWM: Rare Beauty full face! Worth the hype?
10 minute makeup with Rare Beauty! YES WORTH IT! Rare Beauty launched last month and the crazy obsessed makeup junkie in me bought EVERYTHING and it’s been completely worth it! Overall the entire line is easy to use and can meet the needs of many who wear makeup! Products in order of video appearance: Rare Beauty - Always an Optimist Illuminating Primer The primer doesn’t do much, but add hydration, glow perfect for all skin tones, and soothes skins. You can do without this, but I am enjoying the extra glow! Rare Beauty - Positive Light Liquid Luminizer Highlight I’m medium/tan olive and the shade Flaunt is the perfect highlighter shade. I prefer to apply this under my foundation for a light from within glow. Rare Beauty - Liquid Touch Weightless Foundation Buildable coverage with NATURAL FINISH. Not for those who want a full beat, this is on the more natural side and I personally love it. I wear shade 360W (warm olive) the entire range runs on the warmer side. I absolutely love how quick and easy this is to apply. Rare Beauty - Liquid Touch Foundation Brush Honestly one of my new favorite foundation brushes! Doesn’t leave streaks, you can stipple, pack, or buff with this brush. Super light weight and the shape is great for everywhere on the face. Rare Beauty - Liquid Touch Brightening Concealer I personally love this concealer. You can match your shade to your foundation. This may not be the best coverage for someone who wants a full coverage. Minimal almost no creasing! Rare Beauty - Liquid Touch Concealer Brush AGAIN I love the brushes! This brush was modeled after our fingers and it feels pretty close to the soft touch of a finger blending in your concealer. Fits perfect under the eyes. Rare Beauty - Soft Pinch Liquid Blush A little goes a LONG way. Do not apply over powder!! This has to be applied a certain way for it to work. I prefer with a brush right on top of unset foundation. This has enough pigment to show still after setting powder. I have the shade LOVE - a warm terracotta. Rare Beauty - Perfect Strokes Matte Liquid Liner Docked a star because I am truly not a big fan of brush tip liners, but this liner did an EXCELLENT job. Easy to use and very precise. Rare Beauty - Lip Souffle Matte Cream Lipstick My favorite product and now my most worn red! A creamy airy texture that is very buildable for a soft or powerful look. Wearing the shade INSPIRE. Rare Beauty - Always an Optimist 4-in-1 Mist I’m not big on setting sprays anymore and I could probably do without this, but this is refreshing and revived my makeup if it looks too powdery. Rare Beauty - Blot & Glow Touch-Up Kit This is always in my purse, actually great for touch ups! #cheriepartner #cheriecreator
