Amazing NUDE shades for tanned skin that you must try!❤
Amazing NUDE shades for tanned skin that you must try!❤
We love crazy manis but sometimes, the best neutral polishes goes with everything. Skin-complementing shades are utterly elegant, understated, and helps to elongate your fingers. If you are a warm undertone, warm nude shades are going to complement your undertone well. If you are a cool undertone, pick the cooler nudes. Lucky ladies with neutral undertones get away with all the nude shades. There is no single ONE nude color for all of us so I’m trying out two shades of neutral nude here. The first pick is Orosa Pure Cover Nail Paint in shade Pâtisserie. I love how Orosa nail polishes are cruelty-free and vegan, and free of 14 harmful chemicals typically found in nail products. The application is super easy thanks to the flat, wide, and curved brush that glides across the natural shape of my nail. The pink shade does not really suit my tanned skin but it would be an interesting option for pairing it with another complementary shade or for a French manicure. This shade would be perfect for cool skin tones. US$12 for 0.5oz orosa - Pure Cover Nail Paint The second pick is OPI nail lacquer in Pale to the Chief. At first sight, I wouldn’t think that the shade would be suitable for my skin tone but it looks elegant after application. The award-winning nude polish is heavily pigmented and appears beautifully even with just one single coat. Application is a breeze with the larger ProWide handle and brush as well. It dries quickly, perfect for busy girls on the go. A nail lacquer also typically lasts longer than a nail polish but I would let time tell if that is true. US$10.50 for 0.5oz OPI - OPI Nail Lacquer

Classy Nails for the LIBRAs ♎️
Classy Nails for the LIBRAs ♎️
When it comes to astrology, I do read my readings once in a while and take it with a pinch of salt. It is fun to understand my sign personalities and the same for my close friends and partner. A person who is a libra (yes, it is my birthday month) is generally infamously indecisive, and love balance and harmony. Librans are great team players, and can be little bit of a hopeless romantic sometimes. Like how Librans love all things beautiful and artistic, it is no different for nail art. This is a set of nail art inspired by my star sign, Libra. Ruled by Venus, Libra is associated with colors are all about balance, connection and harmony. Libra is linked to the endocrine system, kidneys and is associated with pretty pastel shades including baby blue, pink, pistachio, pale aqua, lavender and peach etc. For this set, I am using a lovely soft pastel pink color, balanced with a darker shade in the same color family. My pick is the clean + vegan Orosa Pure Cover Nail Paint in shade Pâtisserie, and balanced with an alternative pop of new shade Lobby Boy. Orosa nail polishes are cruelty-free and vegan. I like how application is a breeze with the flat, wide, and curved brush that hugs the natural shape of your nail. The polish dries quickly too. I strengthen the nail color and prolong its longevity with a matte top coat. orosa - Pure Cover Nail Paint

Game-changing nail DO’S and DON’T’S!
Game-changing nail DO’S and DON’T’S!
Alright ladies and gents, get ready for some major do’s and don’t’s when it comes to doing your nails at home! I’ve been painting my nails a lot more since COVID started; probably mostly because I’m bored and anxious and it gives me something to do. I’ve had some hit or miss nail looks over the past six months, and I’ve learned some do’s and don’t’s that work well for me and my nails. So let’s get started! First of all, DO: Make sure you eat a balanced diet and supplement with a multivitamin containing biotin. A lot of the time, weak/brittle nails are our body’s way of telling us something is off nutritionally. Nourish your nails from the inside out! Make sure to nourish your nails externally, especially if you use polish or other harsh nail products often. Use cuticle oil and hand cream daily. Give your nails a break from being painted or otherwise done (acrylics, dip powder, etc). Give them regular breaks so they can heal and grow. Now, for some DON’T’S when using nail polish: Don’t just do one coat. As you can see from the picture on the left, this makes nail polish look streaky. This is why I love to use a quick-drying polish like the orosa - Pure Cover Nail Paint : it lets me do multiple coats without waiting forever in between. Pn the other hand, don’t do TOO many coats/don’t do multiple coats without letting the polish dry first, because your nails can end up a gummy mess. 2-3 coats is typically enough, and waiting at least 5 minutes in between coats can help avoid this issue. Don’t paint outside the nail. This typically happens by accident because you have too much polish on the brush. To remedy this, simply make sure you wipe off any excess polish before painting. If you do get polish on your skin though, just use a q-tip dipped in polish remover to clean it up. Don’t paint without buffering your nails first. I used to think this was an unnecessary step, but buffering my nails helps the polish apply so much more evenly. Just don’t overdo it; a few quick buffs is usually enough. Does anyone else have any tips or tricks for at-home nails? #CheriePartner

Matching green mani 💚
Matching green mani 💚
For some reason i’ve been LOVING the color green lately. Maybe it’s because i’m such a plant lover? Either way, I’ve gotten a few green accessories lately, like this reusable baggu bag. It’s big enough to hold quite a bit at the grocery store or any other place I take it. I also recently got some new colors of the orosa - Pure Cover Nail Paint , including this dark green (called Saguaro). I decided to match this color with the bag and I love how it turned out! Both Baggu and Orosa are brands that seek to be environmentally friendly, so they go together in more ways than one. I usually have my nails long and in a square or almond shape, but I cut them recently and I’m in the process of growing them back out. As you can see, they’re pretty much a standard oval shape right now. Orosa nail polishes come in a variety of fun colors and they’re all free of 14 harmful ingredients, which Orosa calls the Nope List. On the Nope List are ingredients like formaldehyde, animal ingredients, and palm oil. All these ingredients are excluded due to their health, ethical, or environmental concerns. I can get behind a brand taking a stand against ingredients like that. For this simple monochrome look, I applied two layers of the Orosa polish and finished them off with the Olive and June clear top coat. I never used to think of green as a fall color, but since this is a darker shade, it definitely gives me autumnal vibes. Has anyone else tried matching your nail color with your bag or other accessories? #CheriePartner

14-free nail polish?! 🙀
14-free nail polish?! 🙀
Orosa kindly gifted me some of their orosa - Pure Cover Nail Paint to try and I just happened to have a moment today to do my nails, I attempted a yin-yang mani since I kept seeing all over Pinterest and it turned out pretty good in my opinion 😅 Orosa’s Pure Cover Nail Paint is 14-free formula, this means they left out a group of 14 questionable and harmful ingredients typically found in nail polish like formaldehyde and toluene just to name a few. It takes only two coats to get full opacity and the cuticle-hugging brush makes it super easy to use. Plus it dries super quick so you don’t have to worry about wet nails for more than 10 minutes . They have so many cute colors to choose from and they’re also vegan, cruelty-free and gluten-free. And it’s only $12! I’m very impressed with this formula and will pick up some shades myself soon!

The most unique nail polish colors!
The most unique nail polish colors!
Hi pals! Recently, I’ve gotten the chance to try the Orosa beauty Cool heat summer nail polish line, and I have to say - I’m so impressed!!! They’re formulated without a lot of toxic ingredients typically found in nail lacquer, and they’re fast-drying and don’t chip for at least 5 days! With a top coat, I can often get these polishes to last a whole week! The colors are so unique, and they’re so different from the regular pinks and yellows that I usually use during the summers! The shades, from left to right are: Cannonball Ring toss Splash Pink lemonade Piñata Snow cone In the last photo, I actually used a Bobby pin for the tiny dots in the middle of my nails! This is a great hack that I’ve been using for a few years, and it’s so easy to up any casual manicure! orosa - Pure Cover Nail Paint #cheriecreator #cheriepartner
