COLD WATER QUICK-DRY 💅🏼💦
COLD WATER QUICK-DRY 💅🏼💦
BY FAR THE BEST TIP I HAVE EVER LEARNED...HOW TO QUICKLY DRY YOUR DIY NAILS AT HOME 🤍 All you need is WATER! 💦 After your nails have been painted, wait about two minutes to let the polish set (Don’t forget to apply a base and top coat). I use the OPI - Nail Lacquer Base Coat - it’s so soothing for your nails, I love it! I also use the OPI - OPI Top Coat after I’m done. This top coat allows your polish to stay on for so long!😍 WARM WATER:💧 Dip your nails in warm/hot water for around two minutes. Warm water helps to smooth the polish on your nail ensuring that there aren’t any ridges or bumps or bubbles. COLD WATER:💧 Then, dip your nails into a bowl of ice water for around five minutes. The icy cold water helps push the particles together and solidifies the polish, which dries it. 🧊 Your nails won’t be completely dry at the end of this however, they will be touch dry and will not smudge. 💅🏼 I applied theOPI - OPI Nail Lacquer to my nails. I love this brand as it lasts so long and never chips off! Stick around for more little tips and tricks💙 Paula x

Diamond Nails 💎 Gems and Bling - French nail
Diamond Nails 💎 Gems and Bling - French nail
Today im showing you how to do the at home diamond french manicure, with no skill needed! super quick and it turns out to be perfect! And ended up looking like a really professional gel french diamond nail that you get from salon. I started off with a coat of just a sheer pink polish because my nails are kind of stained by wearing manicure for so long. White french nails has been trending for years. I want to share this Swarovski Crystals french nail that is absolutely gorgeous gorgeous. The finish look is so stunning with just 2 types of gems and nail glue. You will need: square gems 2 pieces per nail some small clear gems On the tip of your nails where you normally use white polish to create french nail, we are going to replace white polish with gems.today. Use nail Glue to secure the 2 square gems in the center of the nail, on the side, place small gems to fill in the gaps and blank area. You want to make sure the tip of your nail is as shine as possible. Put nail glues around the gems and wait till it dry. Cure that for 30 seconds and finish up with a clear top coat. And voila you are done. I personally love love this nail look. It is shining and bling. Those crystals makes this french nail to a different level and you can match that with different styles or outlooks. 💅A crucial step that you shouldn’t skip when doing manicure
💅A crucial step that you shouldn’t skip when doing manicure
As a person who changes nail colors and styles quite often, I know well about the importance of taking good care of my nails. Nails can be very brittle sometimes. Here’s what I usually do to properly care for them. Before I do my manicure at home, I always clean my hands and nails beds thoroughly by removing leftover polish. Then I completely dry your nails before application. A base coat is a crucial step which you shouldn’t skip. It helps to protect your nails and to keep the colors for a longer time. If you put the polish color directly on your nails, it is very likely to result in staining. OPI - Nail Lacquer Base Coat One of my favorite base coat products is OPI natural nail base coat. Price: $10.5 for 0.5 oz Claims: has an extended-wear formula; prevents staining of natural nails and promotes a long-lasting manicure. My thought: I feel like this product does help to extend the wear of my polish. The formula is gentle. What surprised me a lot was that even when I mixed and matched it with polish from other brands, such as Essie, it still worked well and presented good results. I always get compliments on how my nails look like gel nails, but they’re actually natural! The secret is to apply one base coat, two coats of color and then a top coat. It sounds so easy but I find it perfect for a home manicure.

Easy French Chevron - For Beginners
Easy French Chevron - For Beginners
Today I want to share my hacks of creating this French Chevron nail art. Its supper easy and good for summer. You can customize it with your own choice of color. Materials Required: 1. A base coat - You will probably see nails getting yellow and soften after too much chemicals build up from polish. You want to get a good base polish to help protect your natural nails. 2. Straight-edge nail clipper, to get a square shape 3. Nail polish remover - to clean up the edges 4. 2 colors of your choice and a metallic or glitter polish 5. Top Coat - Using the right top coat makes a huge difference in the longevity of your manicure. Step by step Tutorial: 1. To start with, I apply this clear base coat and wait till it dry. 2. Next I am using a tile blue striping polish and painting left corner of my nail. Once its dry, using a while paint to fill the right corner. and create this V-shape. Normally a French manicure would be in a curve. Here we want to create this strong V-shape 3. Then you will need a thin brush (you can also use a toothpick to create a straight thin like with glitter polish) 4. Finish up with a clear or matte coat. One take away from me is that When I paint, I start in the center and move down then outward. In addition, I like to make sure that I am painting in thin coats. and Voila! This Easy French Chevron nail is done. I recommend at least 15 minutes before you touch other things. It can actually take up to two hours for your nails to dry fully. Once the nail color is dry, I also massage this oil into my cuticles for added moisture. OPI - Nail Lacquer Base Coat OPI - Rapidry Top Coat OPI - ProSpa Nail & Cuticle Oil

Create 🌈 Ombre at home
Create 🌈 Ombre at home
Starting off, as always, shape, sand, buff your nails before moving onto nail polish. If you have extra time, give yourself a massage and soften the cuticles. Lets get directly to the paining Here are the tools you will need for this nail art and I will be link the tools and polish I used in the end. Materials Required: 1. A base coat - You will probably see nails getting yellow and soften after too much chemicals build up from polish. You want to get a good base polish to help protect your natural nails. 2. 3 or more tones of regular polish and a makeup sponge. 3. Nail polish remover - to clean up the edges 5. Clear nail polish What I did here is to apply those different colors on the sponge and slightly sponge it on to the nail. You may want to repeat this 2 to 3 times until you get the look you want. Sometimes if the color is too light, I’ll wait about a minute for the layers to dry and repeat the same process by adding more polish to the sponge. And I also like to use a gold polish apply on the tip of my nail with my thumb to add some metallic element. Then clean up the excess polish with nail polish remover before using the clear nail polish to finish up. If you are a beginner or you dont want to get nail polishes around your fingers, it is also a good way to apply a latex around you nail to protect skin while getting a clean finish look.
