ACNE WHO? 3 PRODUCTS TO HELP CLEAR YOUR SKIN.
ACNE WHO? 3 PRODUCTS TO HELP CLEAR YOUR SKIN.
These 3 products saved my skin from hormonal acne. Once upon a time I had perfect skin and I’m talking glossier model type skin.. WELP it all changed at 24 for me. I started to go through serious health problems and it eventually showed in my skin. I could feel the shift in my body and hormones and that’s when the cystic acne started to appear. I started breaking out and had no idea what to do and felt like I had tried everything until I came across these holy grail products: BLUME - Meltdown Oil for Acne-Prone Skin An oil for acne prone skin that helps to clear breakouts, calm inflammation, prevent scars, and shrink those pores! - does it really work? - DUH! I would not be giving it 5 stars if it didn’t! Nothing disappears right away, but give it a month and all those pesky breakouts will be smaller and clear skin will be on its way! + a little goes a long way + comfortable oil that absorbs well + use AM or PM (I prefer PM) + natural frangrance + clean + vegan! Flor By Alexandra - Royal Jelly Glow Face Cream This moisturizer has done more for my skin than any other product could. I’ve learned that honey is the best skincare ingredient. + fights the worst acne breakouts. + Not greasy or sticky. Sinks into the skin perfectly. + Doesn’t clog pores or cause irritation. + fades dark spots and promotes an even skin tone. + GIVES THE MOST AMAZING GLOW TO YOUR SKIN. + $34 and worth it and you need it. - So what’s in it? - + made with royal jelly for cell regeneration and antioxidant-rich eucalyptus honey for repairing broken skin. + organic jojoba oil for acne prone skin, aloe vera leaf juice for redness/inflammation/scars, and organic coconut oil for hydration AVERR Aglow - #3 Clear Skin Elixir This is newer to my acne fighting products, but it’s made quick and extremely visible results. I noticed a difference in my skin after one use. + wears as an overnight mask. Apply last in your routine. + thin clay like consistency. + made to help heal and prevent breakouts. + new breakouts forming are almost completely gone by the next morning. + slight fragrance, but it dissipates. - can get drying off used too often. I skip a day or two in between uses. - kinda sticky in a way. - pricey!! $50 :( but it works really well. I rotate this in my routine to keep my breakouts at a minimum. My skin has never been so clear since I started using these products.

My Favorite Serums for Combo Skin
My Favorite Serums for Combo Skin
I love serums and use at least two in my skincare routine every day! I have oily, combo skin that is breakout prone and hyperpigmentation. Serums help with all my concerns and are essential to my healthy skin goals! Hydrating Serum - every skin needs hydration! Since I have oily, combo skin I like using a lightweight, gel based hydrating serum so it isn't too much for my skin to tolerate and doesn't lead to breakouts. Hydration is also key to fighting pigmentation! My favorite hydrating serum is the iS CLINICAL - Hydra-Cool Serum because the lightweight, cooling and adds that extra layer of hydration that I'm looking for. It's packed full of healing antioxidants like centella asiatica, vitamin B5 and kojic acid and safe for all skin types. iS Clinical is clinically proven and the prices reflect that - this serum retails for $94 for 1 oz. of product. I will repurchase this and do recommend it, but there are tons of fantastic hydrating serums that are way more affordable than this! Treatment Serum - my favorite treatment serum is always going to be something to address my hyperpigmentation. It's my number one skin concern and I target it using Vitamin C. The BeautyStat COSMETICS - Universal C Skin Refiner is my go-to Vitamin C because it's backed by science, doesn't lose efficacy, and has lasted me months! It's also a high percentage vitamin C serum so the results happen fast! This product is safe for all skin types but because of the high percentage of vitamin C I would suggest sensitive skin test this product first! Retailing for $80 this Vitamin C is expensive, but in terms of high end Vitamin C serums it's on the lower side. I also always find discount codes for the brand and haven't bought it at full price yet! I'd absolutely recommend this Vitamin C, even over the beloved CE Ferulic by Skinceuticals. CBD Serum - my favorite "oil" serum to use is CBD because it's a lightweight oil that sinks into the skin and doesn't leave an oily finish. CBD has tons of benefits for the skin, but I use it to calm and soothe my skin if it's irritated by breakouts or if I'm having an side effects from using a retinoid. My favorite CBD serum is the FLORA+BAST - Age Adapting CBD Serum that retails for $77 at Sephora. It's made of 100% TCH-free cannabis oil and even smells like that plant which I find extremely calming. I use it mostly in my night routine as my final step after all my other skincare and moisturizer. I would definitely recommend it! I only need a few drops for my face and neck, so haven't had to repurchase yet but will be soon! All-Rounder Serum - this is the multitasking serum that does it all! For me this serum needs to be hydrating and support my moisture barrier, it's less focused on active ingredients. The LANCÔME - Advanced Génifique Youth Activating Serum does that for me! It's hydrating, anti-aging and supports my skin. #CheriePartner

The good stuff
The good stuff
This is an overnight mask that ROCKS. It’s not messy, doesn’t wipe off on pillows or sheets, and most importantly, it WORKS. I’ll use this more as a spot treatment than a full mask, but wow if this mask doesn’t clear it overnight, I know I’m dealing with a monster of a blemish. 90% of the time, I can put this over a pimple and the redness and size reduce significantly by morning (if it’s not completely gone). It has saved me SO many times after compulsively picking at my face (but hey it can only do so much before I wreck myself). This is a product I will continue to buy👏🏼AVERR Aglow - #3 Clear Skin Elixir

How I Treat Hormonal Acne
How I Treat Hormonal Acne
I have oily, combination skin that's prone to breakouts. Hormonal acne is the type of breakouts that I deal with most often. They are linked to my cycle and normal occur in the week before I get my period. So how do I deal with hormonal breakouts? Here's my routine: 1. After cleansing I use an exfoliating toner, my favorite is BIOLOGIQUE RECHERCHE - Lotion P50 because it's the most effective for me skin! It's not too harsh, but gets deep into the skin to fight those deep hormonal breakouts. 2. I follow that up with a spot treatment or mask. Recently I've been using the AVERR Aglow - #3 Clear Skin Elixir which is both a mask and spot treatment! It's filled with minerals and plant oils. It fights breakouts but doesn't dry out the skin! 3. Once I've removed the spot treatment or mask I then moisturize, but I add in the BLUME - Meltdown Oil for Acne-Prone Skin . This oil turns your products into an acne-treating machine! My goal with this routine is to treat my breakouts without drying out my skin. It's effective for me and treats my spots within a few days.

Product and Brand Inquiry - Averr Aglow
Product and Brand Inquiry - Averr Aglow
What are your feelings about Averr Aglow? Have you tried their overnight mask, the Clear Skin Elixir? Or their whole Clear Skin Kit? My Instagram has been flooded with advertisements from Averr Aglow for quite a few months now. The company makes big claims about helping to clear acne and their products are on the pricier side. Looking into the ingredients, I see that the products aren’t completely non-comedogenic. What are your personal experiences with the brand or products? Worth the price? Do they measure up to their claims?

Fenty Blushes : Great! You do need to make sure you do not layer them on top of powder. Did this and it was not pretty Fenty Bronzer: AMAZING. So smooth and buttery. Also, not too pigmented which I like! Jouer Concealer: Also great! Blends very well and very full coverage. Avera Algow : I am on the fence. Tried it one night and thought it worked, but then tried it again and my zits looked bigger. I want to continue to keep trying!!
