Easy & Game-changing✨4 steps to perfect nails at home!
As a kind of impatient girl, I've searched on the internet so long to build a simple nail care routine for my damaged nails. Here's an easy one that I finally got and actually helpful: Step 1: Clean Starting with a quick clean-up of the cuticles with a flexible cuticle remover. First, I'd like to drop some #KellyKessa - KellyKessa cuticle softener[products]# on my nails, then massage the drops in and then gently push back the cuticles with a cuticle remover. After that, I'll rinse off my nails with warm water. Personally, I don't cut up all my cuticles as even a smattering of them help protect my nails and reduce the risk of infections. Step 2: Trim and file Use a flexible nail clipper to shape and smooth out the edges of my nails. You can trim your nails in whatever shapes you fancy but I'd kindly remind you that coffin nails are more likely to breakage. Step 3: Moisturize Next, I'll moisturize my nails using a nourishing cuticle oil also from KellyKessa, which smells amazing and quite hydrating. During this process, I'll also smooth my hands with TOCCA - Crema Da Mano Hand Cream Giulietta, which has a lightweight formula and never makes me feel sticky. Step 4: Treatment Later, I'll apply CND - Vinylux Rescue Rxx Treatment to my nails for extra nourishment. This nail treatment contains jojoba oils and sweet almond oils to strengthen nails powerfully. Finally, I'll end up with OPI - OPI Natural Nail Strengthenerto apply a protecting layer on my nails. This product is my favorite nail strengthener, as it makes my nails quite even and strong. Okay, that's my nail care routine! This is an easy nail care routine with only 4 steps and typically takes me 15 minutes. Hope you guys enjoy it! What're your nail care tips? Drop your words below xoxo!

DIY: At-home Mani!
My nails (pre-COVID) sucked. I had to wear bio-gel nails because of how much they would break. But when things closed, it forced me to change my routine (for the better). To be completely honest, my nails look better now than they ever did before so I might keep my own at-home routine going indefinitely! S T E P S : 1. NAIL SOAK: I finally found a use for all those facial cleansers that my skin simply couldn’t handle! I put a few pumps into a bowl with warm water to soak (and soften) the nails and cuticles. I leave each hand for about 3-5 minutes. NUXE - Rêve De Miel Face and Body Ultra-Rich Cleansing Gel 2. CUTICLE CARE: as a first step I will grab a cuticle pusher (got mine off of amazon for under $7), and push all the cuticle down to expose more nail bed. Then if there is a lot of excess cuticle skin (and some hang nails) I grab my cuticle nipper and gently trim those pieces off. 3. NAIL FILING: I usually won’t cut my nails unless I am losing some serious length (broken nail for example). I instead opt for nail filing with a medium grit (180 grit to be exact). I like to change up my nail shape depending on my mood or colour choice for that week too! Not sure what grit is? Don’t worry, it’s something I had to look up at first before purchasing too 😉 The grit is how course the nail file is. So, for example you will use a much lower grit for acrylic nails, and then increase the number depending on how thick your nails are. For very thin or brittle nails, I would suggest something 240 or higher. 4. OIL: CND - Vinylux Rescue Rxx Treatment I LOVE this product for my nails. I spread it around the nails beds then massage the excess onto the entire nail. I leave it for a few minutes to absorb before continuing. The keratin strengthens, while the jojoba oil in this product is fantastic for moisturizing! In my case I had really, really brittle nails that peeled easily. It didn’t matter what I used, they peeled or even got white spots. Since I began using this, I haven’t had this issue. 5. GROWTH TREATMENT: Nail HQ - Growth Sally Hansen - Nail Rehab I use both of these products interchangeably. I prefer the NAIL HQ, I find that my nails grew noticeably faster when I used this product regularly. The best part about this specific product is I can regularly find it at a Marshall’s for half price (so I don’t feel guilty over using it). 6. MOISTURIZE: THE BODY SHOP - Hemp Hand Protector I worked at The Body Shop when I was in College and honestly got hooked on this hand cream. It’s been my tried and true since 2008! The smell isn’t my fav, but it’s not awful. You also don’t need a lot of it to do the trick! If I recommended one thing to add to your routine it would be the CND RescueRXX, hands down. Nothing short of miraculous! Hope this inspires some DIY! ✌🏼
