🌱All Natural Skincare #Farmacy 🍯
Today I want to share another all natural skincare brand - Farmacy. Along with Echinacea GreenEnvy, Farmacy Beauty's products combine natural botanicals & extracts like honey, antioxidants, hyaluronic acid to create clean hydrating products that are cruelty-free, paraben-free, mineral oil-free and free of synthetic fragrance. Here are two of their star products which is also my most recent favorites. FARMACY - Green Clean Makeup Removing Cleansing Balm I got a sample size from sephora during checkout and fall in LOVE with it. I’m usually a Clinique Take the Day Off Balm girl. I am a balm remover lover. I used 3 big cans of clinique. Now it’s over the spot of clinique and sitting on the top of my remover list. After finishing the whole jar, I can feel it helped improve the overall appearance of the skin and leaves skin hydrated and silky smooth but not stripped or too dry. This cleansing balm is a 2-in-1 makeup remover + face cleanser. It is softer and more buttery comparing to Clinique. It melts and removes makeup easier. It also gently exfoliates the skin clean and fresh. No rubbing needed. Almost takes off everything. I normally do not go for a second cleaning if not wearing too much makeup. FARMACY - Honey Potion Renewing Antioxidant Hydration Mask I have to say, this is mask changes my attitude to honey skincare products. It is a renewing antioxidant hydration mask. I didn’t like anything with honey in skincare before. I’ve tried many products that’s either irritating or too sticky that leads to break out. Compared to other honey masks the texture and quality of the mask are unbelievable. I started to use it when my skin is super dehydrated and flaky. I tried from my bff who is a super sensitive dry skin. After cleansing, I just put it on rub to activate and relax for 15 minutes. Once the mask started turning white, it became warm. I was worried about irritation first time trying. When I washed it off, my skin is soft and fresh. What’s amazing about it is that it blur the appearance of my pores! For me it’s like a cleansing and hydrating mask. Now it’s on my weekly mask routine for extra hydration. Definitely recommend to dry and combination dry. You will LOOOOOOVE it.

Farmacy Green Clean Cleansing Balm Review
Farmacy Green Clean Cleansing Balm Review
FARMACY - Green Clean Makeup Removing Cleansing Balm This cleansing balm is a 2-in-1 makeup remover + face cleanser that is advertised to be good for all skin types. It supposedly helps with dryness and dullness; all the while melting away your makeup.  My first thoughts on the product was that it smelled delicious (lime sherbet anyone?), and that it had a really nice texture; just imagine a whipped sorbet that melts into a rich oil upon skin contact. I’m usually a Clinique Take the Day Off Balm girl or Dermalogica Pre-Cleanse Oil kinda girl; however, when I ran out of both products I decided to try out my mini Farmacy balm. I’ve used this balm for a few weeks, and I would put it in 2nd place, with the Clinique in 1st place (only because it’s less $/oz). Although I really liked the product, the biggest issue I had with it is that originally, after trying to remove eye makeup, it would leave an oily film across my eyes, which tbh freaked me out. So instead of applying the balm directly to my skin and then rubbing it in, I would actually warm it up in my hands first, then gently rub on my face, and then add water to emulsify it. This seemed to fix the issue for me personally. Aside from that, I found it did a good job of removing my everyday makeup and sunscreen. When following up with a gentle cleanser, I didn’t have any issues with any leftover film or residue. I also didn’t find this product to be drying or hydrating on my skin. However, unlike the Dermalogica oil, it didn’t sting my eyes which was a huge plus. And I personally find the smell to be very pleasant and calming after a long day, but that might be just a “me” thing. Although it is a little pricey at $10/oz, it does last a long time which makes it worth it in my book. I would definitely recommend this product to those looking to start double cleansing because it works well to remove makeup/sunscreen (+ it smells great)!  4 - out of 5 stars

2 Skincare Tips I Learned On TikTok💕
2 Skincare Tips I Learned On TikTok💕
☀️I have sensitive combination skin that is acne-prone. Normally I get my information from Paula’s Choice’s skin ingredient dictionary but I like seeing other skincare lovers share their tips on social media. I found these two tips on TikTok that have actually worked for me that I hadn’t heard of before! ✨1. Cleansing with oil based cleanser for 10-15 minutes I was scrolling on TikTok and saw that this girl had been massaging oil into her face for a longer period of time and was having lots of success removing blackheads. This of course makes sense because oil removes oil and that’s essentially what blackheads are. In the past I had just massaged it around for a minute or two but now I really take my time and I do find that massaging oil on for a longer time period is very effective for cleaning my pores! For this, I like Farmacy’s Green Clean cleansing balm but it has microplastics in it so I’m planning to switch to the one by Then I Met You or Deviant Skincare for my next purchase. Besides that, I love this formula. A liquid oil-based cleanser would work too! ✨2. Reapplying sunscreen with beauty blender over make-up I’d struggled a lot in the past with the idea of adding sunscreen over make-up. Besides the sprays or powders with SPF, it just didn’t seem realistic until I saw this video on TikTok of someone wearing a full face of makeup and using a beauty blender to reapply. I’d never thought of that before and it didn’t mess up her make-up at all! Reapplying sunscreen is so important for skin health but I think a lot of make-up wearing people don’t do this because it’s so tricky and this is a game changer! Purito Unscented Sunscreen is my current favorite but I’ll be trying Beet Shield by Krave Beauty soon too which is also supposed to be amazing. ✨What tips have you gotten online? REAL HYPE! ALWAYS DOUBLE CLEANSE!
REAL HYPE! ALWAYS DOUBLE CLEANSE!
Ever wash your face and still have left over makeup or dirt? YUP. I’m calling you out! YOU. NEED. TO. DOUBLE CLEANSE. 𝐰𝐡𝐲 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐝 𝐝𝐨𝐮𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐜𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐞: If you wear any type of makeup or sunscreen, regular cleansers WILL NOT WORK alone to get your face entirely clean. A double cleanse system is *obviously* washing your face twice to ensure you get all traces of makeup and dirt completely gone. 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐮𝐬𝐞: For double cleansing the best way to start is with a cleansing oil or cleansing balm. Oils and balms work to breakdown makeup and dirt. You will literally see your makeup dissolving into the oil or balm. You can just wash your face twice with your regular cleanser, but it won’t be as effective. You can also use a micelles water first and then cleanse, this is a great option too. ***Always use a cleansing oil or balm FIRST before your regular cleanser. It must be washed off with another cleanser or it may clog your pores.*** 𝐦𝐲 𝐟𝐚𝐯𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐞 𝐜𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐛𝐚𝐥𝐦 FARMACY - Green Clean Makeup Removing Cleansing Balm So you too have heard about GREEN CLEAN, but is it worth it? BIG YES. This quickly became my favorite for double cleansing because it is seriously as good as everyone says. + for all skin types! + sunflower & ginger root oil melt away makeup, even long wear and waterproof! + turmeric and moringa extract get rid of impurities, sunscreen residue, and fight off pollution. + exfoliates too! Thanks to papaya enzymes. + smells refreshing. Citrus type smell, very light. + waxy look and feel until worked onto skin or hands it then melts into an oil/milkytype consistency. + rinse off with water and you got yourself some pretty clean skin. + comes with a little scoop so you don’t have to dig your fingers in it! + little goes a long way! Don’t use too big of a scoop. + clean skincare $22 1.7 oz $34 100mL - there are other options at a more affordable price, but for a more high end brand, this is very worth it. BELIEVE THE HYPE. All the good things you see and hear about Green Clean are true.

Slaai or Green Clean - what’s the better balm?
Slaai or Green Clean - what’s the better balm?
Hey friends! This post is a head-to-head comparison of two lovely cleansing balms. I’ll choose a clear winner below, but I want to hit on the most important aspects of a cleansing balm and why I like one more than the other. Keep in mind I have sensitive, dry combination skin! Both of these products are marketed to all skin types. The products are: DRUNK ELEPHANT - Slaai Makeup-Melting Butter Cleanser FARMACY - Green Clean Makeup Removing Cleansing Balm Price: Farmacy Green Clean: $34 for 3.4 Oz (pictured here is the limited edition jumbo size) Drunk Elephant Slaai: $35 for 3.88oz, plus a tube of exfoliating bamboo and charcoal powder (pictured here is the midi size) Scooper: Farmacy: comes with a scooper that does not affix to the tub or fit inside the lid of the tub. DE: comes with a magnetic scooper that affixes to the top of the tub. Scent: Farmacy: smells like animal crackers or lime sherbet DE: has no smell; maybe a medicinal scent if anything Formula: Farmacy: uses sunflower + ginger root oils DE: uses virgin marula oil Ease of application: Farmacy: takes less effort to melt into an oil DE: takes a little extra TLC to completely melt When adding water: Farmacy: turns into a visible milky cleanser and washes off easily—skin feels tight afterwards DE: turns into a clear milky cleanser and leaves a light residue on the skin—feels nourishing and ready for the second cleanse Cons: Farmacy: burns my eyes, gives me blurry vision DE: no cons Overall thoughts: So I purchased the jumbo green clean WITHOUT testing it first (bc I’m a DUMMY) and I regret not buying a full size Slaai. While the Farmacy Green Clean is nice and does a good job removing SPF and makeup, I can’t use it on eye makeup or around my eye area because it burns the absolute heck out of my eyeballs. The Drunk Elephant Slaai is all around a great first cleanse step and preps the skin for the second cleanse without stripping it. If I had to recommend one over the other it would be Slaai 100%. Have you used either of these cleansers? What are your thoughts?

Cleansing Balm: Drunk Elephant OR Farmacy ?
Cleansing Balm: Drunk Elephant OR Farmacy ?
I have tried two popular cleansing balm and now want to share my feeling about them to you guys. One is Farmacy Green Clean Makeup Removing Cleansing Balm, and the other is Drunk Elephant Slaai Makeup Melting Butter. Package: Drunk Elephant 🌟🌟🌟🌟 Farmacy🌟🌟🌟 Although Drunk Elephant's packaging is a little bit heavier, it provides a small spoon stuck by a magnitude, which makes it way more convenient to use. Texture: Farmacy 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Drunk Elephant 🌟🌟🌟 Farmacy's is more blendable and more natural to melt-down in hands or face, While it may take a while for Drunk elephant. I also need to notice that DE one would be a little bit difficult to clean off thoroughly. So if you are acne-skin type, farmacy is better for you. Cleaning power: Both are great! I would call it an even since both can clean heavy makeup, even mascara! Scent: Farmacy 🌟🌟🌟🌟 Drunk Elephant 🌟 Farmacy definitely smells better. It is not a strong but lightweight, good scent. But the Drunk Elephant's smell is a little too irritating for me. Some people argue that this is because DE is more eco-friendly, and the product is without artificial flavor. But sincerely, I wouldn't say I like the smell. Other: Drunk Elephant gives an extra hydrating feeling. I would give it some extra points for that. In all, personally, I prefer Farmacy. The experience is nice when using Farmacy's cleansing balm. But if you don't mind the smell and really care whether the product is eco-friendly, go with Drunk Elephant!
