Big Kwik Dry Top Coat

While staying with friends for the first three months we all got into nail-stamping since we needed something to keep our minds off of not leaving the house — sans the occasional walk and grocery store run. For about 5 years (I am not joking), a polish had not touched my nail. Why? 1. I am the type of person who would rather to let the nail polish chip off than use nail polish remover. 2. I have worked from home for 3 of those 5 years and thought my painted nails were meant to be seen and admired by other people. 3. I would always be struck with the need to paint my nails at time. And if there is something I hate more than having to use remover, it is having to want for the nail polish to dry. What was used: • #Pink Armour - Pink Armour Nail Gel[products]#[FiveStars] : One of my favorite standalone polishes. It gives a light pink tint. Great as a base coat. It also promotes nail growth. • #OPI - Worth a Pretty Penne[products]#[FiveStars] • #Maniology - Essentials Primary Collection: Bam! BASE COAT OPI - Nail Envy Original : I used one coat of this on each nail as a base coat. BROWN POLISH I have been searching for the perfect brown nail polish and while I almost bought one from Essie’s Expressie line, I decided to get a $15, four-piece Zoya set from Amazon instead. (Zoya polishes usually cost $10 each. On the Zoya website, the same quad costs $30.) The “Tis The Season” quad had two cream polishes and two shimmers. The brown polish is called “Debbie” and is a plum brown. On the thumbs and the pinkies, I used the Zoya polish “Tasha,” which is described as a “sensual brunette brown metallic.” It is perfect. Zoya polishes has Big-10 free breathable formula free of: • Formaldehyde • Formaldehyde Resin • Dibutl • Toluene • Camphor • TPHP • Parabens • Xylene • Ethyl • Tosylamide • Lead GOLD POLISH AND NAIL STAMPING PLATE For the gold design, I went with Maniology’s Gold Rush polish, a metallic champagne gold, and the MxM041 plate. Maniology is 5-free and doesn’t use: • Formaldehyde • Formaldehyde Resin • Dibutl Phthalate • Toluene • Camphor TOP COAT To seal in all of my work, I chose an old reliable, the Sally Hansen - Big Kwik Dry Top Coat . It doesn’t smudge the stamp, dries quickly is leaves a glossy smooth surface. I did this mani Saturday and the first picture was taken on Wednesday. As of New Year’s Eve, there hasn’t been a chip. I got kbshimmer - Oh Splat! White Glitter Nail Polish with Rainbow Glitters from Amazon more than a month ago and just opened it three days ago. I. AM. OBSESSED. Not only is it a super fun nail polish, but the white base with multicolored hexglitters actually lended to me using Maniology - Mani x Me June 2019 Jazzercise (B285) Sky Blue Stamping Polish , a color I got from a Maniology mystery bundle that I had yet to use. I also decided to use a Nicole Diary stamping plate for the design. And I sealed everything with Sally Hansen - Big Kwik Dry Top Coat . What do you think?

I am really into stars and ILNP BOUTIQUE COSMETICS - Holographic Nail Polish is like having a stars on your nails. ILNP (I Love Nail Polish) describes it as a “captivatingly deep midnight blue nail polish that’s sure to remind you of a night sky filled with dazzling stars.” Looking Up was a part of the 2016 Winter Collections. It is also fully opaque in 2-3 coats. It has a gorgeous glossy finish. When doing these nails, I did these steps: 1. Base coat: I used Pink Amour 2. Looking Up 3. Quick dry top coat: Sally Hansen - Big Kwik Dry Top Coat Pro tip: If you want to save polish, then paint a layer of black polish so Looking Up has a nice foundation to build upon.
