BOXYCHARM - HELLO, CHARMER PALETTE I was really skeptical about this palette. After all BoxyCharm is a subscription box not a cosmetics company so I didn’t know what to expect. Beyond blown away by this palette. The pigment is strong, the shimmer and glitters are absolutely stunning and it all blends so well. Very pleased and they set the bar high for any future cosmetic launches!

June’s Boxymail 🦋📬
I took a little over a week off due to some personal issues, but it sure does feel great to be back! I know I’m late to the party, but I still wanted to share with you all what I received in my June base box from Boxycharm 🌼 Hola Neon “Easy Sell” Velvet Liquid Lipstick $17 - Gorgeous universal shade with mauve undertones; super comfortable on the lips 🌟 Boxycharm “Hello, Charmers” eyeshadow palette $39 - I’m excited to own this palette for the simple fact that I’ve been subscribed to Boxycharm for almost five years so this is a sentimental item for me! 🌟 CoverFX Custom Enhancement Drops “Halo” $42 - I’m not too crazy about the shade, but I own this same product in a different shade & formula-wise, it’s a good product! A little goes a long way so this will essentially last you forever! 🌟 Lilly Lashes “Triple X” Black Mascara - I’m excited to give this mascara a go considering they make some of the best lashes on the market, so I have high hopes! 🌟 QMS Medi Cosmetics’ Intensive Eye Cream $140 - This is definitely the most expensive eye cream that I now own. I will follow up with my thoughts once I’ve tried it for a week or so! 🌟 Total Value of Box = $262!!! This has to be one of the most value filled boxes I’ve received as a base box. So what do I think? 🤔 I’m happy with this month’s box & as I always say - Boxycharm can’t be beat when it comes to value for just $25 a month! 💸 BOXYCHARM - HELLO, CHARMER PALETTE QMS MEDICOSMETICS - INTENSIVE EYE CARE COVER FX - Custom Enhancer Drops Lilly LASHES - Triple X Mascara

March Boxycharm: Hit or Miss?
|| BOXYCHARM - HELLO, CHARMER PALETTE First impression of this palette was a good one, I liked the color story and the eyeshadows themselves looked quite beautiful. When I started swatching them however, I was disappointed. The glitter shades are surprisingly chunky and are not opaque, while the mattes are a bit chalky. There’s one beautiful buttery gold shade called Luxe and one matte shade called Unboxing that is gorgeous. This product retails at $39 and I absolutely do not think it’s worth it. ||Murad - Hydro-Dynamic Ultimate Moisture for Eyes I just started using this eye cream but right off the bat it is a little heavier than what I’m used to. There’s no harsh smell and I have noticed that it keeps my under eyes very hydrated with no bad reaction from my skin. It claims to lock in moisture and smooth fine lines so I can attest to the hydration but I need a little more time to see some change with my under eye lines. Not sure it’s worth the $70 price tag but it’s definitely not the worst eye cream I’ve ever used. ||APPEAL - Mood Ultra Creme Lipstick This lipstick is quite creamy and it sits very comfortably on my lips. It doesn’t last as long as a matte lipstick or a liquid lipstick would but I guess that’s the price you pay for the comfort. I wouldn’t mind paying the $21 price tag for this, especially because the packaging is so cute! ||KVD VEGAN BEAUTY - Signature Brow Precision Pencil This product disappointed me the most out of all. I received this product in the color blonde when my brow hair is dark brown so it’s rendered unusable to me for that. However, even if I could use it, it just seems very dry and the pencil tip was hard and not a great shape. At $22 I don’t think it is worth it. Anastasia Brow Wiz is $21 and is a far better product in my opinion. ||BECCA - BECCA Ultimate Lip Definer My favorite thing in the whole box. Came in the color Charming and it’s the perfect everyday color for those with a deeper tone. Very creamy, glides nicely along your lips with no tugging or skipping. Definitely worth the $18!!

My Mental Wellness Improved Through My Self AcceptanceWhen I was around 13 or 14 years old, I remember routinely taking one of my older sister’s black eyeliner pencils before school every morning. I’d arrive early so that I could slip away to the girl’s bathroom to apply a single black line to my eyelids. My parents didn’t allow me to wear any makeup at the time. Although this smudgy line on my eyelids didn’t make me look all that much different, I never felt comfortable at school without it. My teenage mind convinced myself that I needed some sort of cosmetic symbol in order to appropriately express my femininity. Up until that point in my life, society had told girls that looked like me - tall, Black, and with kinky hair - that we somehow weren’t as beautiful as the other girls. For far too long, I believed it too.Feb. 17
