MY FACE MAKEUP ROUTINE for when I’m breaking out
For numerous reasons, I have been stressed lately which really shows on my skin. I already get the occasional breakout, around the time of the month, and sometimes from diet and eating food that probably isn’t GREAT for me. So with additional stress I eat more, crave more crappy food, maybe pick at my skin, etc. I also wear a face mask whenever I go out and with the heat and humidity of where I live, it just becomes a skin nightmare. I just made another post about how I’ve changed up my skincare routine. Here is my makeup routine for covering it up. Add warmth and color back into the face. COLOURPOP - Super Shock Blush in Count Me In NUDESTIX - Nudies All Over Face Color Bronze + Glow in Terracotta Tan I find that when I’m breaking out, my face can tend to look flat and pale. By adding some warmth and color back into the face, you look healthier and more radiant which will help a lot at disguising breakouts. The colourpop blush is a beautiful mousse-y texture that gives sheer color with a satin-finish. The cream bronzer is my holy grail! It’s super creamy, long-lasting and looks just. like. skin. Spot-conceal. MAKE UP FOR EVER - Full Cover Concealer Wearing a full-coverage long-wear foundation just isn’t the way to go for me. It ends up looking cakey and accentuating texture instead of disguising it. As the individual breakouts are the only areas I really want to cover, I don’t want to cover the areas of my skin that are actually smooth and break-out free! This concealer is super high coverage, a little goes a long way and very long lasting. I will sometimes use a pinpoint eyeliner brush or even just my ring finger to pat the product exactly where I need it! This TRULY gives the illusion of smoother, clearer skin. Lock it in. rms beauty - "Un" Powder I love this powder because of its super fine and silky texture. It makes my skin look 100% poreless which is perfect for smoothing out texture on my skin! It also keeps my T-zone area shine-free all day without drying out my skin (as many mattifying powders do to me).

Kaja Mochi Pop Blush VS. Colourpop S.S. Cheek
Kaja - Mochi Pop Bouncy Blush in 02 Atmosphere - Glowy finish - Sheer pigmentation - Thin mousse-y formula COLOURPOP - Super Shock Blush in Simply Sweet (L) & Between The Sheets (R) - Matte finish - Very pigmented - Thick mousse-y formula My Choice: It was a super hard decision to make because I love both of these blushes for different reasons and occasions but I pick Colourpop. It’s inexpensive, has almost the same amount of product, and there are more color choices to pick from! I love that I can use both my fingers or a brush to apply it, whereas I have to use my fingers with Kaja because it’s so much more sheer. With the finish, I prefer Kaja because it gives a subtle glow but all I have to do is add a setting mist after applying Colourpop to turn it from being matte to dewy.

My HOLY GRAIL Drugstore Products 🥰
Hello beautiful! It’s definitely been a while since I posted and I miss you all much. Things have been hectic at work, but I’m back for now. I wanted to share my holy grail drug store products without breaking the bank even though it looks like you did 😉 ✨ MILANI MAKE IT LAST SETTING SPRAY $8.99 I used to spend $30+ for UD’s all nighter setting spray, but since I discovered this little gem, I don’t anymore. This makes your make up stay on and transfer proof. I even use this to spray my surgical masks to prevent make up transfer and it works! ✨MAYBELLINE CHROME MASTER $7.99 I love the shade in Molten Gold. This is amazing! It’s not glittery at all. It has a natural shiny finish and it’s comparable to my Becca highlighters. A little goes along way and you only need a tap for a full glow. ✨ELF PRIMER-INFUSED BRONZER $6.00 I have the shade in “perpetually tan”. This gives me a sun kissed glow all year round without looking too muddy. It’s buildable and the texture is the softest. It almost feels like silk. ✨MILANI BAKED BLUSH $9.49 I LOVE blushes. I own many high end ones as well, but these are comparable with some of my high end ones. I have been repurchasing this for years. I used Rose D’Oro and Luminoso religiously. Now I am obsessed with the shade Berry Amore. This gives me that perfect glowing from within look. I instantly look healthier when I apply these. It has a little sheen without looking too sparkly either. A must!! ✨COLOURPOP SUPER SHOCK CHEEK $8.00 This is my favorite cream blush. I apply this on the days I don’t wear foundation. It looks so natural. It’s so buildable and easily blendable. My favorite shade is “between the sheets”. I own almost all of the super shock cheeks, but I always go back to this! I have repurchased multiple times as well. I love the texture of this as well. It’s sooo soft! This can be used with a duo fibre brush or your fingers. ✨ELF BITE-SIZE SHADOWS $3.00 This one is a hit and miss, but the “truffles, pumpkin spice and cream & sugar” quads are great quality for the price. I suggest you stay away from the “rose water” quad however. That one was patchy and horrible, but the rest are amazing. I bring them with me whenever I travel. I hope you find these helpful! What’s your favorite drugstore product? Comment down below. Xoxo, Francesca 💋

CP Super Shock Cheek (Is It Super Shocking??)
I'd heard so many mixed reviews about the COLOURPOP - Super Shock Blush formula that I knew I had to try it for myself! After testing it out, here's my take. Rating: 3/5 Stars Shade Name: She's in Bold The Review: First of all, I love the color. She's in Bold is a very punchy reddish pink. I have yellow undertones and I think it emphasizes that, so if you have the same coloring as me that's something to be aware of. The texture is super fun and bouncy, but here's where Colourpop loses two stars for me: this blush is hard to apply. It tends to stay where you first apply it. After trying various methods, I'd recommend putting it on your cheeks with a brush, then blending it out with your fingers or a beauty sponge. After it's applied, the blush lasts a long time. I really enjoy this product, but I wouldn't recommend reaching for it if you're putting on your makeup in a hurry. Using this product requires some patience. Overall, I'd definitely consider picking up another Super Shock Blush, but it's not a holy grail for me. The search for the perfect blush continues!

Candyland Eyes 🍭 🍬 🍦 💜💗
Hey Cherie Beauties, Happy hump day! I finally got to try the stuff I picked up from Colourpop X Candyland collection. I have mixed feelings about the eyeshadows in this palette and the super shock blush. The only thing I was impressed with was the Princess Lolly roller gloss and I was the least excited about that one... I love some of the shadows such as king candy and gramma nutty. Both were pigmented and blended nicely on the eyes. I can see myself using these shades on my neutral days. However, trouble started when I dipped in the color shades. Plumpy applied patchy and refused to show up on my lids. I tried using a brush, my finger and a wet brush but it was really patchy and I really had to layer it to show up. Rainbow trail was chalky and Gloppy were hard to blend and difficult to work with. The shade sugar high was nice though. I haven’t tried all the shades so I will probably use it one more time to decide if I completely hate this palette. I got the super shock cheek in Gummy More and it was a chunk of glitter on my cheeks. The smell was great at first, but after a while I found it to be overwhelming. I can see myself picking up this product if I’m going to a festival, a concert or out...which we know won’t happen any time soon due to the pandemic, but other than that I don’t see myself really picking this up again. The roller gloss was awesome because it felt so cold on the lips and it’s great for the hotter months at the moment. It is also scented, but it doesn’t get overwhelming like the scent in the super shock blush. Overall, this is the first Colourpop collection that I wasn’t in love with...the products were just okay...but then again pastel colors aren’t really up my alley so I can see someone who is in to colors being super in to this. On this look, I used: -King candy (transition) -Gramma nut (crease) -Gloppy (outer corner) -Plumpy (lids) -Rainbow trail (inner lid) -Sugar high (inner corner and brow highlight) -Graceland bff liquid liner -Creme gel liner in big splash and amethyst hour -Gummy more on the cheeks Are you in to pastels? Would you pick this collection up from Colourpop? 💙💜💖 🍭 Have a sweet day! Francesca 💋
