Mask combo I learned from Instagram!
Hey guys! I want to share my new favorite mask combination that I learned from Kali of MyFaceStory on Instagram. Note here that I do not use the exact product she does, but I get a similar affect. Kali and I share something in common: ACNE! New acne, healing acne, painful acne....and she taught me that the combination of Cocokind’s turmeric stick along with a chlorophyll mask can help heal up acne QUICK! The products I am using are: cocokind - Turmeric stick HEAR ME RAW - The Brightener Mask with Chlorophyll+ Let’s go step by step: cleanse your face apply the cocokind turmeric stick on your active breakouts and healing acne spots dab on the chlorophyll mask to cover the areas with turmeric leave on for 10-20 minutes, rinse gently and continue your routine Kali says she sometimes leaves this mask on for up to 2 hours, but I’m not sure my sensitive skin could handle that. I use this layered mask 1-2x a week depending on how severe my breakouts are at that time. I notice a real difference in my inflammation and acne stage when this mask is washed off! Mini reviews: I have already reviewed the cocokind - Turmeric stick but long story short: it’s $9, available at Target, and has a ton of awesome ingredients safe for sensitive acne prone skin. 5/5! The Chlorophyll Mask by Hear Me Raw HEAR ME RAW - The Brightener Mask with Chlorophyll+ is definitely interesting. It’s fairly expensive—$42 for the pot, but HMR’s sustainability efforts give them points from me. I do not like using this mask by itself, which kind of pigeon-holes it in this use for me. I received this as a gift, but opinions are my own. I have to rate it 3/5 stars because it’s expensive. What’s your favorite hack from Instagram?

my night time routine/ unwind with me
my night time detox routine. so i normally don’t use the kale detox mask anymore bc that was more of a summer mask to hydrate my skin from being in the sun all the time, but if my skin feels a little dry and needs a little bit more of a superfood blend/detoxing my skin I’ll use that sometimes for my detox nights but I usually use the acne gel or Acure to help with my acne. then I use the Apple cider vinegar to help with my acne and scarring so if I have scarring I will use us for detox as well sometimes I’ll just use us a couple days out of the week just so that I don’t fully dry out my skin I’ll just use us when my acne really needs it the most but when you do you use it it’s not going to dry your skin out right away I’m not sure how it will be if you use it every single day. but I’m sure if you dilute it with water like I do you your skin won’t get too dried out, I love to use this when I need to and for my detox nights the stuff is the best and it really has save me so much money and it really works my pimples have gone down and the scarring is getting better and going away then I use the ordinary serum to also help with scarring and blemishes I really like this stuff I use it every night last i use coco kind turmeric stick and I love this stuff so much best purchase I’ve made and I definitely want to try out more of Coco kind Products PACIfICA - Kale Detox Deep Cleaning Face Wash BRAGG - Organic Apple Cider Vinegar The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% cocokind - Turmeric stick

my favorite beauty products i continue to buy
#cheriepartner my sustainable go to products that are my favorite and i continue to buy. i love getting my foundation every time i run out this COVERGIRL - Clean Liquid Foundation like i’ve said so much already it has the best and smooth consistent see I feel like it really works well with my sensitive skin my skin never gets dried out from this foundation and I feel like that’s because this is a very heavy foundation it’s just very llight so it doesn’t look like you’re wearing any foundation at all it’s just so natural and that’s why I love it so much most foundations can be pretty heavy and cakey also feeling heavy. next I love my ordinary #The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1%[products]#[FiveStars] this helps with blemishes and spotting leaves you a very nice smooth complexion and also helps with scarring as well so I love that. anything I see that helps with scarring I love to immediately get it because when I battle with really stubborn zits they tend to leave some pretty nasty scars and I don’t like that at all so ... so the stuff really helps Coco kind is also amazing and I’ll keep buying this as well because this helps with scarring and pimples it’s a really great pimple treatment I love how all natural it is and the smell of turmeric this does not dry out my skin either cocokind - Turmeric stick lastly is ACURE - Incredibly Clear Acne Spot acne scarring treatment this also helps with pimples that are on coming and that comes when I have pimples that are on my skin are use this every night until the inflammation on the pimple goes down and flat ends naturally instead of popping them on your own, it’s never a good way to pop your pimples it’s really bad and I know it can be hard sometimes because I am guilty of this too sometimes when the pimple is there and it’s stubborn it’s really hard to sit on your face and it hurts but using products like these are absolutely worth it and this all just helps with scarring and with the zits going down :)

turmeric mask stick
My first voiceover video!! I actually love these types of videos, as well doing them!! It allows me to record what i want to show and really think about what I want to say. So let me know if you want more of these voiceovers :) Ive been spotting this at target for a while now, and ive always been skeptical about getting it. I saw someone do a review on this the other day, she said it was good, so I just went ahead and got it :) This mask contains turmeric, which a antioxidant than can help reduce acne, acne scars, target your pores, and calm the skin. It also has amazing antibacterial potential as well as fighting future breakouts. However, turmeric is known for staining your face hahah. I would recommend using turmeric that is meant for your face, and not just the ones in the spice aisle. I got this at Target for $8.99 cocokind - Turmeric stick
Cocokind organic mask stick
Hey guys this is my first time trying out cocokind - Turmeric stick I love how natural the ingredients are it’s healthy and great for your skin. I herd the best review about it and I wanted to find something to fight my stubborn breakouts . Especially with Mask acne going on with this heat in California Cocokind believes in the power of superfoods - not harsh chemicals - to deliver deep, long-lasting hydrating to your skin. That's why they design each food-grade formula with just five plant-based ingredients or less. Brighten skin and fight the appearance of blemishes with this turmeric-infused spot treatment. It easily applies to affected areas and leaves skin feeling gentle and calm thanks to a soothing blend of sunflower seeds and tea tree oil. How to use: After cleansing, apply to breakouts and blemishes. Let sit for 20 minutes, then wipe off with a damp cotton pad. Avoid contact with clothing and pillowcases, as the turmeric will leave a stain. Key ingredients: sunflower, beeswax, turmeric, ginger root, tea tree oil
TUMERIC + CHLOROPHYLL??
NOTE: I drank a bottle of wine and applied this mask so i can’t show the other half of my face 💃🏼 I’m back on the Cocokind train. I had tried this combo a few months back but got distracted trying other mask rotations. I’ve been told coconut oil is actually bad for your skin and a big pore clogger - which makes sense. So I was always hesitant to use it. BUT, I use it sparingly and I’ve only seen benefits. After I wash, I tone, & mist I apply the cocokind - Turmeric stick to problem areas. This ranges between large pores, blackheads and breakouts. Ends up being my whole face tbh. After this, I dump some of the cocokind - Chlorophyll mask powder and mix into my cute mask bowl ( i 🤍 pottery) with some water. I’m loving using brushes instead of my hands when I apply masks... i feel boujie and it feels right. After washing (I have to use a light cleanser to get ALL of the yellow off my skin) my face feels sooo fresh. I’ve started purging after using the The Ordinary - AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution a couple days ago and the Cocokind combo is a great “rest day” mask. The result does feel a little dry but my skin feels brighter and tighter immediately! Dry is ok though because I follow this up with my heavier moisturizer and seal with 100% compressed rose hip oil - I use pura d'or - 100% Rosehip Seed Oil ✴️ I think the tumeric is actually the better product here even though the chlorophyll has the clout. The mask works well but is MESSY (maybe I’m just an animal) and I smell like a creature from the black lagoon. This ends up being a more time consuming mask rotation overall. I would definitely recommend for a refresh after using harsher products earlier in the week! Has anyone tried this? Is it worth the hype? 💚💚💚💚
