The Ultimate Anti-Pollution Routine
Air pollution isn’t just bad for your lungs but also for your skin. Because air pollution particles are so small, they can get stuck in our pores and cause all sorts of problems, like acne, skin sensitivity, dark spots, dehydrated skin, dull/uneven skin, and even premature wrinkles! Here is how I incorporate anti-pollution skincare into my routine: Use a sunscreen with SPF 30 or higher. Every. Single. Day. You’ve heard it many times before, but SPF really is one of the most important skincare products you can use. It delivers sun protection and fights against pollution-generated free radicals, which can damage our skin’s DNA and accelerate the aging process! My favorite high-SPF sunscreens are theSupergoop! - Superscreen Daily Moisturizer Broad Spectrum SPF 40 PA+++ and theelta md SKINCARE - UV Clear Broad Spectrum SPF 46 , both of which feel hydrating but not heavy on the skin. Add antioxidants to your routine. Antioxidants are another way to reduce the damage caused by free radicals and combat visible signs of aging. Popular antioxidant ingredients include vitamin C, retinol (vitamin A), niacinamide, and vitamin E. If you’re worried about irritating your skin, you can start with a less concentrated vitamin C serum, like the dear, klairs - Freshly Juiced Vitamin C Drop , which you can use in the morning (as long as you follow it with SPF). If you prefer to use vitamin C at night, try thePAULA'S CHOICE - Resist C15 Super Booster , which has a higher concentration of vitamin C to protect your skin. For sensitive skin, I would recommend niacinamide, a widely tolerated antioxidant, like the Cos De BAHA - Niacinamide 10% Serum or The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% If you have dry skin, try rosehip seed oil: It has vitamin C, A, and E and locks in moisture. My favorite is The Ordinary - 100% Organic Cold Pressed Rose Hip Seed Oil Make sure you’re effectively cleansing your skin. Of course, the best way to stop pollution from affecting your skin is to make sure you remove it from your face every day. Try double cleansing (using a cleansing oil first and then a water-based cleanser after) to gently but thoroughly cleanse your skin of any dirt and pollution that have built up on your skin throughout the day. If you’re new to double cleansing, I recommend trying a cleansing balm, like the FARMACY - Green Clean Makeup Removing Cleansing Balm . It’s less messy than a liquid oil, and it’s really satisfying to see how the balm turns into an oil to remove makeup, sunscreen, dirt, and who knows what else from your face. Then follow up with a gentle water-based cleanser, like the Cerave Foaming Facial CleanserVANICREAM - Gentle Facial Cleanser Do you use anti-pollution skincare products? What do you want to try next?

My night time skincare routine (:
✨ Hey guys! I know I haven’t really been active on here, but tonight I decided to finally show you my night time skincare routine! A night time skincare regimen is very important for beautiful skin. I think after a lot of trial and error I’ve finally perfected my night time skincare regimen to the point where I don’t have to or need to add in new products or get rid of products! I know this probably looks like a lot, but compared to my morning skincare, (literally moisturizer and sunscreen) a night skincare should be all about regenerating, prepping, and hydrating the skin for the next day! ✨- It isn’t shown in this picture, but for cleansing the skin I like to cleanse my skin with the Cerave Foaming Facial Cleanser! Now I’ve been using this product along with the moisturizing cream long before the hype! I’ve been using Cerave since I was 15 and now I’m about to be 18!! (Lolll shocker) Anyways, I love Cerave, I love how gentle and kind it is to the skin, a good night time skincare regimen does not have to be expensive, it just needs to be safe and good on the skin! Your skin needs love and it needs it especially at night! ✨- I love hydration! It’s KEY to amazing and glowing skin, I recently have been using the Heritage Rose Water Spray as my toner after I cleanse, this spray is simple the ingredients are simply purified water, and Hydroessential Rose (Rosa Damascena), it’s very soothing and hydrating especially after chemical exfoliating although it has a little fragrance to it, I don’t mind it it isn’t strong at all. ✨- After cleansing and toning, I like to go in with my Cos De Baha Nicinamide + Zinc serum, now if you haven’t read my post about this stuff, please go check it out. This serum is amazing for my oily skin, it’s helped reduce my oil production to the point where I am no longer oily during the day, it’s also helped with my hyperpigmentation and dark spots around my mouth and nose area. It’s very soothing and I just love it so much in my opinion it is better than the Ordinary’s. ✨- Last but not least, is moisturizing, I love using a thick moisturizer morning and night, even oily skin needs moisture. I like to use Squalane oil and my Cerave cream, I mix a drop into the cream and smother it all over my face, afterwards I like to add a little drop of the oil into my palms of my hand and pat that all over my face as well, and lastly I like to spray the rose water spray again just for that extra moisture and glow!

Dark under eye circles
I’ve had dark circles and wrinkles under my eyes since I was about 12, that’s when my insomnia got real bad, so after discovering skincare I decided to try cerave eye repair cream and have definitely seen a slight increase in volume under my eyes so after about a month of using it I’ve decided to add retinol and niacinamide, it’s only been one treatment since starting retinol and I’ve started to see some small improvements! My niacinamide arrives tomorrow. Cos De BAHA - Niacinamide 10% Serum CeraVe - Eye Repair Cream I wish it was a bit more intense but otherwise greatThe Ordinary - Retinol 0.2% in Squalane Non-irritating, safe for sensitive skin

Improvements! Looking for feedback
So if you look at my previous post, my skin is combination and the products I was using were drying out my skin. I took some of the advice to use the niacimide 10% serum and I think that’s helped out a lot! I have been using frozen pieces of aloe Vera, cotton pads soaked in lemon and water and then the oils that are tagged in this post. The only thing I am still annoyed with is the black heads that I can’t seem to get rid of, and the size of my pores in my t zone. Any advice? I love this product! It gets rid of appearance of large pores and fights acne while hydrating the skin! It has a very watery consistency, but a little bit sticky when it absorbs into the skin...would still highly recommend though!Cos De BAHA - Niacinamide 10% Serum
