My super powered winter skin routine for acne
It may be sunny here in LA but the air is crisp and cold! And how has my skin been reacting? Well it’s been feeling tight and my eczema has also made an appearance. So, for this winter season, my skin focus is hydration and healing! why hydration and not moisture? Because I have eczema, it’s a clear indicator that my skin lacks hydration, and because I am acne prone, it also shows that moisture isn’t an issue for me-my skin produces oils just fine but can be so dry that I become acne prone. how do I target hydration and not moisture? It’s all about the weight! Hydration is light and airy, moisture is heavy and occlusive. Think lotions vs oils. I still use my cerave healing ointment since it doesn’t clog my pores and seams to help seal in all that hydration which products are the super stars of this show? Easily my serums! Moon Juice - Plump Jelly * is AMAZING. It’s made of snow mushroom and other incredibly hydrating ingredients. It also smells SO phenomenons. I do enjoy patting it into my face because it smells so good and it goes on like literal silk. #Heraux - Molecular anti-inflammaging serum[products]#[FiveStars] * This is a new product, brand, and even science in the skincare world. The founders of this brand were actually working on a solution for arthritis and found a molecule that could help your cells regenerate themselves and put an end to chronic inflammation which leads to aging. They ran clinical trials with this product and found it to work amazingly for the skin in treating inflammatory responses like acne, while also “teaching” your skin how to heal itself. I’m gonna do a full review and before and after on this serum in a couple of weeks because it’s super impressive! So, what’s your winter skincare routine? *gifted, opinions are my own!

*PR seedings* what I’m trying right now!
Plus a beautiful photo of my vanity😍😍 Hey guys! I wanted to share some of the latest PR seedings I’ve received! I have started trying these out already and want to give everything a fair chance before I review it :) so for this post, I’ll leave a few first impressions and also open up my comments for everyone to 👉🏽chime in on what they want to know about each product (I’ll make sure to include it in my in-depth reviews!) 👈🏽 espressoh. - Glassy - Blush by the Glass I love products that match to your skins pH levels! It’s more popular in lip products and this is one of the first times I’ve seen it in a cheek product. The only other skin-matching blush I’ve seen is Dior’s cheek glow which I actually tried and did not like as it’s a powder. This on the other hand is amazing! very glossy texture- felt a bit odd at first to put it on my cheeks but the payoff is beautiful! Gives you a rosey glow and a bit of a dewy look! it’s a very pink pink on me and I love it! Moon Juice - Plump Jelly I started incorporating this serum into my morning routine to keep me hydrated throughout the day, and so far I’m loving it! I mostly love the smell of this serum (it’s a kind of musky scent? Like men’s perfume but not as strong) and the texture glides on really nicely. Moon Juice - Acid Potion Resurfacing Exfoliator Still have not tried! NuFACE - Trinity + Eye and Lip Enhancer Attachment Bundle So apparently after 30 (or maybe it’s 60) days of using the nuface for 5 mins each day, you’re supposed to see a visible difference in lift and lines. I don’t have lines but I’d love to see more lift! I use this every morning after washing and before my serum. The micro currents are not strong but you def feel a sensation when using this. Oddly enough, when I use this along my jawline or near my mouth, I get this metal taste.... idk. But I’m gonna give it a full shot to see if it actually helps! NuFACE - Fix Essentials Gift Set This baby micro current device is meant for the eyes, lips, and other small areas of the face you’d like to smooth lines. I just use it under my eyes at night to help with puffiness. So far, so good! Alright, what do you guys want to know?? I’ll try everything for at least 2 weeks (except nuface that may be much longer) and report back!

Week 6 of derm treatment- epiduo only
Hey everyone! It’s week 6 of my derm prescribed treatment and I am now down to only using my epiduo gel 6x/week! I stopped spiro and will actually be switching over to a natural alternative (will fill you guys in on that later). Using epiduo 6x/week, versus every other day which I was doing the weeks prior) has been powerful to say the least. My skin is a bit drier so I actually added a hydrating serum to my routine to help offset that. I’m using Moon Juice - Plump Jelly and so far it’s been great for my flaky spots! As you can see, my skins texture has improved so much! My scarring has been healing slowly but surely.
