top tier eye cream for dark circles!
top tier eye cream for dark circles!
I’ve put together a review on this eye cream today, so keep reading if you want — Farmacy is in my top three favorite brands (no order really), and I’ve tried most things from them, so ask away in the comments if you want my thoughts on any Farmacy product.⁣ I currently have sensitive, combo skin with rosacea! FARMACY - Cheer Up Brightening Vitamin C Eye Cream with Acerola Cherry ⁣ Claims: “super hydrating, vitamin c eye cream that brightens and helped reduce the look of fine lines and dark circles, good for all skin types.⁣” ⁣ Key ingredients: vitamin c (from acerola cherry & other derivatives), hyaluronic acid (everyone’s fave), and sacha inchi peptide + caffeine. Vegan, cruelty free, gluten free.⁣ ⁣ First, the texture is so bouncy. It kind of feels like pudding jello to me, and Farmacy recommends that you tap the top of the cream lightly with your finger, and what your finger holds on to will be enough for your eye. So catch me gently tapping this eye cream! It doesn’t contain any fragrances, so no need to worry about that sensitive skin around your eye!⁣ ⁣ I didn’t have many fine lines around my eye area before I started using this, so I cannot attest to its effectiveness there. However, my undereyes are so much brighter than they’ve ever been (and maybe that’s combining with actually getting enough sleep lately) and now I have very minimal dark circles. This didn’t irritate my skin or cause any milia, and to me it’s the best consistency!⁣ ⁣ This eye cream is $45, but as we all know, eye creams last forever because it takes very little product to make a difference. I don’t think eye cream is a necessity for many of y’all, and I hear that lots of people think it’s just a glorified moisturizer. I do like having them in my routines and I will probably always!⁣ ⁣ gifted, no strings attached #CherieCreator

My Personal Holy Grail Skincare Products
My Personal Holy Grail Skincare Products
As stated in my bio, I am a self-professed skincare addict and am always on the hunt for the next best thing. My biggest skin concerns are anti-aging (since I just entered my thirties), dark circles under the eyes, and dryness. I live in the desert, so hydration and SPF are absolute musts. Luckily, I’ve found some great products that have given me what I’m looking for without breaking the bank for the most part. I’m a firm believer that you don’t have to take out a second mortgage on your home to get products that contain high-quality, effective ingredients. First, we have the bliss - Rose Gold Rescue Cleanser It’s readily available (got mine at Target), it clears away all of my makeup without drying me out, and it’s great for those of us who have sensitive skin. I follow that up with the CLEAN SKIN CLUB - Vitamin C Brightening Booster I’ll typically take a few drops of it and mix it with my moisturizer in my hands before generously applying to my face and neck. Sometimes, I’ll apply a few drops directly to my face and let it absorb before moving on to the next step in my routine. I completely forgot to include my moisturizer, by the way! I’m currently using the Neutrogena - Neutrogena Hydroboost Water Gel Moisturizer for extra-dry skin. It contains hyaluronic acid and keeps me feeling hydrated all day. During my morning routine, I then go in with Supergoop! - Unseen Sunscreen Broad Spectrum SPF 40 It goes on like a smooth, silicone-style primer which I love because it gets my skin ready for my face products. It feels feather-light on the skin, and there’s no white cast in sight. Then comes Glossier. - Futuredew Oil Serum Hybrid It’s an oil serum hybrid and is meant to be the last step in your skincare routine before applying your makeup. Again, being able to achieve an all-day dewy, hydrated look is essential for me, and this has been a total game changer. The glow is REAL, friends. Since I use a tinted moisturizer instead of a heavier foundation, I find myself using highlighter less and less because this stuff makes it look like I’m glowing from within. For me, that is THE DREAM. Finally, I’ll hydrate the skin under my eyes with either the FARMACY - Cheer Up Brightening Vitamin C Eye Cream with Acerola Cherry or the OLAY - Total Effects Anti-Aging Eye Treatment Eye Transforming Cream . Both are fantastic products; I’d say that the Farmacy cream has a slicker texture that almost has a dewy sheen to it, and Olay seems to both hydrate and tighten which is great for the fine lines around my eyes. Note: In terms of results, I’ve read that it takes more time to notice a difference in your dark circles or fine lines with the Farmacy cream, and I’ve found this to be true. Olay works a lot faster on fine lines! What are your go-to skincare products? Share below, darlings 💕

This brightening eye cream was not used very much when I first used it tbh but the last 2 months that I have been actively using it I have seen such a difference. I use this eye cream in the morning and keep it cool in my fridge to help with puffiness. This product just like very cherry bright includes vitamin c and Hyaluronic acid that helps brighten and hydrate your eye area. I get very dry eyelids whenever my allergies are bad so I always make sure to extend the product onto my eyelid and find that it doesn’t cause irritation or redness (make sure to not get it in your eye). A little dab with your ring finger into the balm is enough no need to go crazy and use up too much. This product will last you forever! All About Eyes
All About Eyes
👁 I have combo skin leaning dry and have forever been plagued with dark sunken under eyes. Here are some of the eye creams I use that help me to occasionally look rested. 👁 In the AM my main focus is antioxidants. I want to brighten my undereyes and protect them from environmental pollutants. Some daytime eye creams I love are Farmacy Cheer Up, Pharmagel Eye Prote, and Biossance Squalane + Marine Algae Eye Cream. These all help brighten my undereyes and make me look halfway decent throughout the day. 👁 In the PM I focus on anti-aging eye creams. I want to use actives like retinol on my eyes while I’m sleeping and not exposed to sunlight. Glow Recipe Avocado Retinol Eye Mask is a great gentle retinol eye cream that is incredibly nourishing and non drying. Shiseido Benefiance Eye Cream uses ReNeura Technology and Kombu-Bounce Treatment...whatever those are...to firm the eyes. The Shiseido one isn’t my favorite for anti-aging but it does feel nice on the eyes and I’ll use it because I have it 🤷🏻‍♀️

My nightly routine w/retinal
My nightly routine w/retinal
Every night I choose a facial wash depending on how my face is feeling and what I’d like to be using. When I will be working with retinal in my routine, I like to start with a nice gentle exfoliation like TATCHA - The Deep Cleanse Exfoliating Cleanser It’s a gentle enough cleanser to use every day but I choose to use it 3-4 times a week. It’s a beautiful light scent and I love how soft it is on my skin, yet manages to exfoliate. I definitely recommend this cleanser if you’re a bit worried about working with physical exfoliants. It’s nothing to fear. 💜 Then again as I stated I’m using my retinal tonight so I want to be sure to have a very hydrated face. Hydration is key for me as retinal can be very drying for my skin. I use a lot of hydrating toners and essences to really plump up my skin before adding the retinal. These would be TATCHA - The Essence Plumping Skin Softener & INDIE LEE - CoQ-10 Toner & YOUTH TO THE PEOPLE - Superberry Hydrate + Glow Oil (these are just some I use) They all give my face the layer of hydration needed to move forward. Then I come in with Medik8 - Crystal Retinal I’m loving the retinal as I’ve only had small white heads surface and easily disappear. I did notice my skin becoming drier when I went up to level 6 but again, found a way to combat that. I’ve only been working with retinal a short few months so I have no results to share at this time. And finally when I am working with a strong active (such as retinal) I lather my face in moisturizer. I had yet to find a night time face mask that worked for me until I discovered this beauty YOUTH TO THE PEOPLE - Superberry Hydrate + Glow Dream Mask It’s the perfect consistency for my skin. Never a heavy, oily, sticky feeling. Just sinks in and keeps my face locked in moisture. And all the added benefits, it’s heart throbbing 💗 get excited over this one ya’ll! It’s good! And I always use an eye cream, day or night. And am loving FARMACY - Cheer Up Brightening Vitamin C Eye Cream with Acerola Cherry I’ve noticed a remarkable difference in the dark circles and just tone of my skin all around my eye. Hope me sharing my night time retinal routine can be helpful for some of you. I’m always here to answer questions #CherieCreator

FARMACY BEAUTY eye creams FACE OFF! Which wins?!
FARMACY BEAUTY eye creams FACE OFF! Which wins?!
I have tested SO many eye creams along the way, its crazy. I will start by saying that I really enjoy both of these eye creams, but I see more results with one of them and I prefer one over the other for AM or PM use. Introducing the Farmacy Cheer Up brightening vitamin C eye cream with acerola cherry: it claims to be a super hydrating, vitamin c-rich eye cream that brightens and helps reduce the appearance of fine lines and dark circles, delivering instant radiance. What really GOT ME about this product is the swoon-worthy bouncy yet creamy texture. It is so hard to explain the texture of this one, because there is nothing like it! When you go to press on it, to scoop it out of the adorable red jar, it literally bounces and jiggles like jello would. When you go to apply it to your under eye it magically MELTS in so so creamy. It definitely surprises you with the rich texture, that isn’t too heavy. It has a very subtle sweet scent to it of cherries. I went about half way through this jar and started to see amazing results. It actually brightened my eye circles without irritating them!! NONE of the brightening eye creams in the past have ever been gentle enough for my eyes. One tiny gripe, not really a gripe, just a preference I have... is to use this rich eye cream at night and opt for a lighter one during the day. I think it slides around a tiny bit under concealer. But, I highly highly recommend this one! Moving onto their other eye cream, Dew It All Total eye cream: it claims to be a moisturizing eye cream that helps minimize signs of stress and fatigue while delivering hydration to help soothe and nurture the eye area. I have loved this eye cream for SO long, because it truly does it all. It really helps to brighten my eyes, get rid of puffiness, smooth fine lines, and is an all-around great hydrator. Also, I have some of the most sensitive eyes, literally everything irritates them, but this one actually soothes them so much! My favorite part about this eye cream is how thin in consistency it is and that it plays so well with other products (including concealer). It has the thinnest texture that glides on so easily, but feels so nourishing! It has the cutest packaging with the wooden lid, and you actually get a good amount of product for the price. I think this is a perfect eye cream for skincare beginners or anyone needing a basic eye cream!
