Does Lamer worth it? Is FAB repair cream a dupe for Lamer Moisture Cream?
I am sensitive, dry skin. When the season changes, my skin is prone to acne or peeling. Today I will share with you two repair creams and discuss whether FAB can be used as Lamer's Dupe. LA MER - LA MER Moisturizing CreamAU$242/40ml We all know, Lamer has their miracle broth, which, and their miracle broth consists of fermented sea kelp vitamins and minerals, helps your skin retain the water in it and keep it plumps and moisturize throughout the day or overnight whenever you're using it. I prefer to use this cream in wintertime or when I am traveling because the air is dehydrated. It is just a heavy dose of moisture when I am using this one, and I know that it's going to do the job and get my skin hydrated. I have been using this cream for at least two years now, and I love it. When you do use this product, you should remember to take a little bit on your finger when take that teeny tiny bit again rub it between your fingers and until to no longer see any white. It should look like a balm at this point. When it does look translucent, that's when you need to press it into your skin. This cream not only helps your skin to retain moisture but also helps calm your skin. FIRST AID BEAUTY - Ultra Repair Cream Intense Hydration AU$ 44/30ml I bought this cream at Sephora. Its texture and method of use are very similar to Lamer. You need to rub it by your fingers and then press it into your face before using it. Its repairing ability and moisturizing ability are a little weaker than Lamer, but the effect is also excellent. After I use it for a week, my skin has calmed down. Technically it's not a dupe, as Lamer process more ingredients than FAB. But If you look at the ingredients list through when it comes to the actual moisturizers in these two products, the base ingredients are almost identical. There are mineral oil, petrolatum, glycerin, microcrystalline, and so on. And They almost smell similar. The Lamer I could touch more of a costly scent to it, but they're very when you feel them in the actual jars, they smell almost identical. The texture of the Lamer is thick. You have to warm it up. The texture of the FAB is similar to the Lamer, and I can't see much of a difference. I would never tell somebody with really oily skin to use these two products because the texture of these two creams is too thick.

💳🛍I recently went on a book ordering spree... (😝one of my favorite things, besides skincare splurges) 💻 Even though we can get seemingly endless information about skincare online, I was curious to seek out some books because I love the tactility & I really hate reading on a screen. Regarding ingredients, there is a plethora of opposing information online, & I’m sure these books will yield some of that too. It’s important to cross reference your searches, meaning checking multiple sources & comparing that information. It’s also important to consider what site is providing the information & whom might benefit from it. 📚Swipe to peek inside📖 PRETTY ICONIC A Personal Look at the Beauty Products That Changed the World By Sali Hughes 2016 💄$18-$21 (paperback version) I was most excited about this one, I’m a big fan of pop culture history & of course I love beauty products. My Face Cream Awards
Although I don't have extremely dry skin, I cannot live without face cream in my daily skin care routine. My skin is sensitive, but thank God my skin is not that sensitive. My overall requirement for face cream is soothing the skin, moisturizing and repairing my skin barrier. I've tried many different face cream products. But there are only three products I really like to use. Thanks for their excellent performance and today I want to have an award ceremony for these three products. 🏆Best Skin Relief Award🏆: My skin may have redness due to changes of the weather, and sometimes a little itchy rash may appears . Whenever I encounter these minor problems, I will use this LA MER - LA MER Moisturizing Cream cream. Rub it in the palm of my hand for a while, apply on my face, a little can go a long way! Use it before sleep, and my skin looks better after waking up the next day. 🏆Best Moisturizing Award🏆: This Kiehl's - Ultra Facial Cream from Kielh’s really does the best job on hydrating my skin! I apply it in the morning and my face will not feel dry or dehydrated all day long. Squalin and ceramide ingredients are really good for dry skin problems! 🏆Best Price Award🏆: This $28 Curél - Intensive Moisture Facial Cream is just so cost-effective! Curel is a brand from Japan, and most products owned by this brand are in very good prices. I want to say that J beauty is not lost to the popular K beauty now! If you are interested in brands from other countries, try it out!

Evening Routine Necessities 🌙 & a La Mer Dupe!?
SUNDAY RILEY - A+ High-Dose Retinol Serum — This is truly the fountain of youth! Compared to other products containing retinol, that I’ve tired, this is superior! (I do in part think the 6.5% retinoid is in part to blame.) I use this a couple times a week and it is the only thing that really reduces wrinkles/fine lines. I don’t use this product in conjunction with many others because it’s very strong—I’ll use a gentle cleanser with my Foreo Luna Play Plus, tone, apply eye cream, apply the retinoid, and then moisturize. $85 is a bit too pricey for me to purchase out front, so I waited for a sale and found it for $60 at Urban Outfitters during a 30% off beauty sale. NIVEA - NIVEA Crème — I purchased this online through Amazon for $11 after hearing on some blogs that it was a dupe for the elite LA MER - LA MER Moisturizing Cream(which retails for $190 for 1oz). While Nivea is sold stateside, usually in a plastic tub in their signature royal blue, I specifically ordered this one from Amazon due to the fact it’s the German version, which has a different formula than the US version and is therefore more similar to La Mer’s The Moisturizing Cream. While I haven’t tried La Mer’s moisturizer, I am really impressed with the German version of the Nivea Creme so far! I apply this in the evening by taking a small amount of product and rubbing it between my hands until it’s no longer white/thick, I then press it into my skin and move my hands in an up and out matter to blend it in. This creme is definitely fragranced, so it might not be the best for sensitive skin. After a few nights of use, the dry/flakey skin on the top of my forehead and nose have totally disappeared and swapped for smooth glowing skin! While I don’t think this is a necessity for the summer months, it’s been great to counteract the effects of fall winds and dry weather. If you’re going to buy this as a La Mer dupe, buy the German version on Amazon or through another retailer! SEPHORA COLLECTION - Rose Quartz Gua Sha — This is my first Gua Sha and I love it so far! Prior to purchasing this, I was using a jade roller from Ulta that I wasn’t blown away by—the roller always squeaked and felt rickety. The Gua Sha is incredibly easy to hold, clean, and use compared to the roller I tried. This is typically the last step in my routine, after a moisturizer, and I find it helps my products sink into my skin. To use, I follow a short YouTube video to use the Gua Sha to remove fluid from and lift my face. For $12, you can’t go wrong! Lano - Everywhere Multi-Cream — Instead of a super thick hand cream, I’ve been using this on my cuticles and tops of my hands to help my hands with the consistent hand sanitizer, washing, and dry fall weather. My hands and cuticles feel much softer and look healthier! This cream is unscented and can be used everywhere, a little goes a long way!

Dupe for Lamer! $45 VS $300 The BEST Deal You Can't Miss!
Two years ago, my face has stayed in allergy for a half year because I used the wrong facial device. I tried so hard to find a suitable repairing product to repair my damaged skin. With the carelessness of money and time, I have tried Lamer crème moisturizer LA MER - LA MER Moisturizing Cream and other expensive repairing products. None of them really worked on my face, especially the cream of Lamer, it contains dormant oil which made my allergy even worse. Finally, the cream of Forty Fathoms#Forty Fathoms - Skin Regenerator Renewal Cream[products]#[FiveStars] saved me! It is regarded as a dupe for Lamer cream, it contains the essence of seaweed found in Tasmania. As we all know, the cream of lamer is famous for the essence of seaweed because it is found strong repairing function. The only ingredient difference between these two creams is Forty Fathoms cream doesn’t contain dormant oil. It sounds perfect for me! So, I gave it a go. After having used it for 3 months, my skin got repaired and became even more healthy, smoother, and balanced. More surprisingly, cream from Lamer sold in $242 didn’t save my skin, Forty Fathoms did and it is only sold at $46. I decide to use it forever! It excels all the cream products in my mind! Sorry for discarding the container of lamer crema, I can only compare these two with my memory. The packaging of these two products all use the paper box, but the box for lamer cream is much bigger and thicker than that of Forty Fathoms. The container for Lamer is made of glass, it’s quite heavy if it is taken for traveling, but the container of Forty Fathoms is made of plastic, which makes it easy to carry. Just by looking at the packaging, Lamer’s packaging looks more high-end, Forty Fathoms’ packaging is easy to carry. I do recommend the cream of Forty Fathoms, it’s much cheaper and it repairs skin rapidly. If you have extra money and don’t be allergic to dormant oil, you can give Lamer a try!
LA MER-LA MER Moisturizing Cream
💰$500? 💰$6? WHICH ONE WOULD YOU CHOOSE?🧐
I have a very special skin type. It likes to be oily in summer, but in dry autumn and winter, the cheeks on both sides will be very easy to peel. At this time, I really need a product to reduce dryness and relieve the symptoms of discomfort, but at the same time, the product should not be too greasy. Crème de la Mer LA MER - LA MER Moisturizing Cream$500/100ML This product is the most well-known main product of the LA MER brand. This rich facial cream immerses skin in deep soothing moisture, which helps to cure dryness. Skin feels soft-to-the-touch, supple, and smooth. Lines and wrinkles become obviously soft. This product is extremely effective for skin, especially dry or damaged skin. Infused with cell-renewing Miracle Broth, this cream can make our skin soaked in moisture throughout the day without feeling dry and tight. Its use method is also quite special. Heat the cream between your fingers for a few seconds until it becomes translucent, then press it gently into your skin. NIVEA Crème NIVEA - NIVEA Crème$6/382G This kind of cream is considered by many people as a substitute for LAMER. For only $6, you can have a large jar of cream that can never be used up. The price is really exciting! So, can such a cheap product really achieve the effect of LAMER? First of all, in terms of ingredients, the most effective product of this product is Provitamin B The rich cream formula deeply moisturizes, nourishes, and protects the skin from rough and dry feeling, making skin soft and smooth. But personally, this product is far worse than LAMER cream. In terms of ingredients, it is more suitable for hands and body use because of its thicker texture. Secondly, after putting on the face, its absorption speed is far less than that of Lamer's cream, which is very unfriendly to me who loves oil. Finally, the effect of this product is very insignificant, with only a basic moisturizing effect and no soothing protection at all. Therefore, it can be called the Dupe Alert of Lamer, but if you have enough budget, I suggest you buy the previous product.
